It feels surreal because I never ever expected these type of quality episodes from S2, the new team definitely brought some hope and positivity. Hence why, we are getting something substantial to watch.

Anu, I guess we will have to agree to disagree regarding the breakdown. Parth may not have been great in emotional scenes but he has come a long way in the show. Guess the long break from the show combined with other factors such as what you listed and the new director, script writer all worked against the scene.

@Sami: LOL no Tum Mile didn't happen today...that might happen tomorrow cuz they were in those clothes today so it will be a continuation scene I guess.


@Opti: Yeah I guess we'll have to agree to disagree...I'm not sure there is any point nitpicking over the kisses now considering there is anyways a vast change in this season from the previous...it's taken them a long time to warm up to this point again and I'm seeing the difference so I personally am liking their scenes this week.

Didn't find anything off with Niti doing the cheek kiss...her nose lingered/brushed over his cheek as usual...it all depends on direction...and today's direction was better than most MaNan scenes this season.


@Shar: Dedicated dialogue writer and a definite change in director too...it's a sea change this week compared to the past few weeks of drag and badly directed/edited epis.

Quickly want to mention that no two ppl can make a random blue film watching scene as cute as MaNan did today😆...the teasing/goofing around, the mischief...all on point today...PaNi did a good job.


There is finally that sense of affection in MaNan's eyes for each other...very nice to see.

Ayye I like it when you gush, it's very rare for S2 but the wait is worth it... I'm expecting some lovely GIFs and of course the VM 😛

Everyone is going on and on about the cheek kiss being off today...am I the only one who felt it was fine? 😕😆...in fact MUCH better than the cheek kiss they showed in the drunk scene a few weeks back.


It's not just marginal improvement this week, it's SIGNIFICANT improvement from the doldrums the show has been in for a while now...


Niti and Parth were both really good today...I can't fault them in a single scene today...and that's rare that I can say that😆


Writing improved, direction improved...that is all it takes for a show to get back on track if only they can sustain the momentum...I'm not even expecting season 1 level stuff but I do appreciate a GENUINE attempt to recapture that vibe again rather than doing surface level/shallow attempts at token romance.

Tofay's episode is a must watch.. MaNan was cuteness personified... I liked navya's scene too... Krissan's acting hs improved a lot.. Dialogue delivery needs some imorovement tjough..

@Anu, I shall wait 4 you to gush.. Ur caps n gif makes d gushing sessions wothwhile. Come back soonish kay..

DITTO... From what I've just seen, I think the cheek kiss was absolutely fine. Definitely much better much better than the cheek kiss they showed in the drunk scene. I loved how they brought back Nandini's little nuance back from S1, the way she dragged her nose after the kiss just like how she used to kiss him... A beautiful sight it was, very subtly done.

I think whilst people are watching the recent episodes, they should not think about S1... S1 was just incredible, recreating that same magic is absolutely impossible purely because the writers have changed. However, so far the new team is doing a great job, yes it won't be the same as S1 but they somewhat still have kept the essence of MaNan intact... They are improving and providing us with worth watching MaNanilicious scenes. SO I'm able to enjoy the scenes because I know by comparing to S1 it will ruin the enjoyment.
