Yup, though i got emotional seeing his breakdown, his acting was not of his own standards! Previous beakdown scene was remarkable.

Agree with you. This was his worst ever emotional scene. The guy is remembering his dead friend, a friend he saw die before his eyes. It warrants a deeply moving breakdown, with mourning visible in his eyes and voice but somehow his acting did not move me. He seemed to have not got under the skin of the character while performing the scene. It was too contrived and OTT. No wonder Niti couldn't help but smile at his grimacing face. A good director would have made him do a retake till he got the expressions right. I feel the actors are left to themselves to interpret and enact the scenes as they find fit.

LOL yes it is pretty absurd😛

Considering there is a world of a difference b/w IPK cast dynamics and KY2 cast dynamics...those ppl stayed in touch long after their show ended...these ppl can't wait to get away from each other as soon as show ends😆...so how can any reunion happen then...yeh show ke andar hi jitna reunion hona tha, ho gaya.

I'm amused to read that you all had expectations from his breakdown scene😆...He did more or less what he usually does...this is the range of his emotional acting...always has been😆...so why expect any different this time?

Considering the story build-up of this Cabir related grief is like NIL in the show right now, I felt Parth did an alright job of the scene.

His Dhruv breakdown scene was superb. Even his breakdown following the breakup of Fab 5 was way better than yesterday's scene. His expressions were comical at times. Whether they built up the grief or not, everyone knows how much Cabir meant to Manik and in what tragic circumstances he died. So I guess it is only fair to expect a more moving breakdown than the comical one we witnessed. I felt Parth either did not have the time to prepare for that scene or couldn't feel enough, given his long break. After all he is a self confessed method actor. The new director(s) did not extract enough out of him.

Dhruv breakdown was a one time deal😆...and it definitely had more build up than this Cabir situation which has anyways been shafted since this season started.

I didn't find anything that off with him yesterday...maybe my expectations are that below zero by this point😆

Third epi in a row this week that had some contentment b/w MaNan...heck even their dialogues referenced contentment😆...however did this miracle come about.

Fab epi today...every single MaNan scene was really good...after ages THEHRAAV allowed to linger in their scenes...really nice to see...good job from the whole team and actors today.

Manik-Cabir connect was very strong in Season 1. One needn't have to elaborate much on it to understand what his loss would mean to Manik, especially when he had witnessed it first hand. Manik's guilt at not being able to help him must have made him shove the entire incident away but seeing the drums and trying to play it had opened up a dam. I feel instead of shrieking and grimacing, if Parth had let his eyes do the main talking with his voice subdued and breaking as he tried to express what he felt, the scene could have been more impactful.

If your expectations were low, I guess you may not have felt anything amiss but I was hoping for more given his past performances.

Clearly you expect far more from Parth than I do😆

I honestly feel it was the lack of build up more than anything...they have given no build up to Cabir related grief this season...it's hard to pull it back then...similar thing happened with the MaNan reunion...it felt flat cuz everyone was behaving like he strolled back from summer camp and not like they were watching someone come back from the dead.

So anyways I didn't expect much there...I liked that the MaNan connect was on point atleast in terms of the way she consoled him.
