Part 14A
Manik went behind Cabir in the kitchen. He was murmuring something to himself that Manik couldn't figure out what he is saying. Manik went close to him and held him by his shoulders from the back.
"Kya baat hai... Pareshan kyun hai... Koi problem hai tou Bol... We will find the solution..." Manik was really getting concerned for him.
"Iss waqt mujhe Khud nahi pata ki problem Kya hai... Main Khud confused hoon... Tou tujhe Kya bataaun..." Cabir said irritatingly.
"Acha tu pani pee le... And calm down... " Manik gave him a glass of water.
Than he grabbed two stools from the corner and both of them sat on it near the counter.
" ab bata..." Manik asked.
"Kuch nahi yaar... Navya naraaz hai aur yeh cheez mujhe Bahut bother kar rahi hai... I don't know why... I'm Feeling very uneasy... And uncomfortable..." Cabir is trying his best to figure out things.
" it's simple..., you go and pacify her and... Maafi maang le uss se..." Manik said again.
"Agar Woh nahi maani tou,.." Cabir looked at Manik.
"Kaise nahi maanegi tu ne aisa Kya kaha jo Woh nahi maanegi..." Manik encouraged him.
"Chal uth abhi jaa uske paas aur maafi maang le... Aur agar phir bhi naa maani tou... Keh de usse jo tere dil mein hai..." Manik said very coolly.
"Kya Matlab..."
Cabir was a little embarrassed.
"Matlab yeh... Ki usse keh de ki tu usse pasand karne laga hai... Simple..."
Manik shocked Cabir by saying this.
"But how did you know... Aur aisa Kuch nahi hai..." He avoid Manik's gaze.
"How did I know..."Manik raised his eye brows and
"Woh Kya hai na... Jaise tu meri Har harkat par Nazar rakhta hai na... Waise hi mujhe bhi tere baare mein sab pata hota hai... Tu Kya sonch raha hai... And all... But I never expected... That The Cabira will fall in love..."
Manik was teasing him.
" I know... Maine bhi kabhi expect Nahi kiya tha... But you know she is different... Thodi hatke hai woh... Aur thodi filmy bhi hai... Ab dekho kaise naraaz hoke baithi hai.." Cabir said.
"Jab pyaar hota hai na tou Aise hi hota hai... Woh insaan aapko sab se pyaara lagta hai... Dil karta hai ki bas usse dekhte hi rahe aur har waqt ussi ke saath Rehna ka Mann karta hai..."Manik is lost in Nandini's thoughts.
"Acha pyaar hogaya...kab... Tune confess bhi kar liya..." Cabir bring him back from his thoughts.
"Haaan... Woh... Maine keh diya... Surprise wohi tou tha..." Manik answered avoiding eye contact with him.
"Saale tu bata Nahi sakta tha... " Cabir punched him on his shoulder and then hugged him..
" I'm happy for you... Phir Nandini ne jawab Kya diya..." Cabir wants to know her answer.
"Usne jawaab Nahi diya... Woh sharmati bahut hai yaar... But she promised that she will give it in the evening... Let's hope ki Woh Kya karti hai..." Manik went in Nandini's dream again.
"Fikar mutt kar... Nandini is a very shy girl... But she will give you the answer... Tere pyaar Ko Woh Inkar Nahi karegi... Teri aankhon mein uske liye pyaar dikhta hai...aur Waise bhi Tujh kaise hero Ko koi resist kar hi Nahi sakta..." Cabir was tapping his shoulders.
"Acha tu ab ja aur usse mana le Hume nikalna bhi hai..."Manik pushed Cabir out of the kitchen.
"Kya ho Gaya Navya... Tum itna over react kyun kar rahi ho... Cabir ne aisa bhi Kya keh diya hai..." Nandini Was trying to reason with navya since long time but Navya doesn't want to understand..
" Woh hamara mazaak uda rahe thei... Tumne suna naa tum tou wahin thi... " Navya said still upset.
"Haan ismein Kya badi baat hai... Tum kaunsa professional dancer ho ki tum Bura maan jaao... Theek hai Woh tumhe bas tanng kar rahe thei... Chalo ab ghussa chodo aur maan jao..." Nandini trying her best.
Knock knock
Both of them turned their faces to the door. Cabir was standing their as the door was a little open.
"Can I come in..." He asked like a gentleman.
"Aao na Cabir... Main Navya ko samjha hi rahi thi... Ki you didn't mean to... You were just joking with her.." Nandini called him in.
"Nandini if it's ok can I talk to her for a minute... Alone." Cabir asked looking at her.
"Ya why not... I'll be down stairs..." Nandini left the room after saying that.
Cabir walked a little close to Navya. She was standing near the window looking outside.
"I'm sorry..." Cabir just said.
'Wow itni jaldi sorry Bol diya...' Navya thought and a smile crept on her lips but Cabir couldn't see as her back was facing him.
"I didn't mean to... Main tou bas mazaakh kar raha tha... Mujhe Nahi pata tha ki tum itna naraaz ho jaaogi..." Cabir was really apologizing in a very mannerly way.
She didn't answer.
"Tou tum he mujhe maaf kar diya na..." He asked again.
"Aapko Kya farak padta hai... Ki hum aapko maaf kare ya na kare... Hum aapke hai kaun..."
'Filmy Navya...' Cabir thought smilingly.
"Farak padta hain na..." He said very quickly.
"Kyun" she turned and looked at him.
"Kyun ki main tumhe naraaz Nahi dekh sakta... " Cabir is getting all shy.
"Wohi tou... Kyun Nahi dekh sakte hain aap Hume naraaz... Hum aapke lagte Kya hai..."Navya wants to hear something from him. Cabir came close to her.
"Woh tou pata Nahi ki Kya lagti ho... But itna Zaroor pata hai... Ki tum mujhe achi lagti ho yaar... " he held her from her shoulder.
Navya got shocked hearing him and also felt happy that he said what she wanted to hear.
"Tou buddhu bola kyun Nahi... Hume bhi aap ache lagte hai... " she accepted so innocently bending her head down and turned red.
"Dekho mujhe yeh pyaar mohabbat ki baatien Karna Nahi Aata... The only thing I know is I like you that's all..." He told her and hold her hands in his while looking at her with love in his eyes.
"Ab tou naraaz Nahi ho naa..." He asked .
"Nahi..." Navya said and smiled widely.
"Come here..." Cabir said and pulled her in a hug. Navya too hugged him back.
Both smiled embracing each other.
Nandini came downstairs and saw Manik was sitting on the chair doing something with his phone. Hearing her footsteps he looked up to see her. She gave a smile to him and went near him and sat on a chair next to him.
"Bahut naraaz hai Kya Woh..." He asked with a questioning look.
"Nahi... Ziyada naraaz tou Nahi hai... But I don't understand... She never reacted this way with anybody... She is very cool..." Nandini looked concerned.
"Woh iss liye kyun ki she never expected anything from any body...
But when you start expecting things naa than you get mad and upset and happy... With that person... And I think this is what is happening with her...Manik try to give a hint to her about Navya and Cabir.
"You mean to say... She is having feelings for Cabir..." Nandini got excited trying to put two and two together.
"Navya ka you pata nahi... But Cabir is definitely having feelings for her... I think Woh usse pasand karne laga hai..." Manik is reading her expressions to see her reaction.
"Really agar aisa hua tou kitna Acha hoga nai... Meri best friend slash sister aur aapke best friend saath mein aa jaaien tou kitna Acha hoga naa... Navya can become my Bhabi than..." Nandini was so excited to here it.
"Ohh hello hello... Missy...Pehle confirm toh hone dou unki Taraf se... Even I'm excited... But waiting for their confirmation..." Manik smiled at her innocence.
Navya and Cabir was coming down from the stairs both holding their hands.
Manik and Nandini didn't notice their hands. As soon as Navya saw Manik and Nandini she pulled her hand from him.
"Kya hua... Sharam kyun rahi ho..." Cabir whispered in Navya's ear by bending a little.
"Kuch Nahi..." Navya hesitated.
"Chalo hum batate hain na apne baare mein..." Cabir insisted..
"Abhi Nahi... We'll tell after the sangeet in the evening... Please..." Navya pleaded.
"Ok as you wish..." Cabir said.
They came near them.
"So all sorted..." Manik asked..
"Ya everything is fine..." Cabir makes sure..
"Navya are you alright... No naaraazgi and all naa.." Manik wants to here their confessions. But they were not in a mood to tell them anything..
So he let it be and thought they will tell when ever they feel comfortable.
"Haan Jeejaji everything is fine..." Navya also hesitated.
"Ok than... We have to leave now it's already 4:30... We have to get ready for the evening function..." Manik got up from the chair.
"Hum baki sab Ko lekar aate hain..." Navya said and left from there.
Manik asking Cabir with his eyes that is everything fine... And Cabir confirmed that all is well.
"Manik main gaadi start karta hoon tu sab Ko lekar aaja..." Cabir said and left outside..
Manik went closer to Nandini and hold her elbows and pulled her softly.
Nandini felt his gaze on her and her cheeks started turning red. He gently lift her hands and placed soft kisses on her knuckles. She was feeling shy and bend her face down.
"I'll be waiting for the evening... Very eagerly... " he whispered going more closer to her face.
She can feel his hot breath on her cheeks. He pulled her and place a open mouth kiss on her left cheek.. She closed her eyes feeling his closeness. He moved away and looked at her.
"Mujhe intezaar tou Nahi karwaogi naa..." He asked her.
She opened her eyes and just nod her head in a no without uttering a word.
"Ok... See you than...Theek hai.." He leave her hands and left the room.
Navya saw Dhruv and Abhi were in the living room sitting on the sofas and chitchatting.
And Mukti and Aliya were discussing about their dresses what to were in the evening..
"Guys I think Hume chalna chahiye... They are waiting for us.." Navya said indicating outside.
All of them got up to go. Dhruv and Abhi left the room. And Navya came to Mukti and Aliya.
"Aliya Mukti... Hume tum dono se ek favor chahiye..." Navya asked them.
"Haan bolo na Navya..." Mukti asked.
"Hume dance ziyada nahi aata... So I need your help to learn some dance steps... For the evening... Just thoda sa bata do tou hum manage kar lenge..." Navya said.
"Par Navya time Kahan hai..." Aliya asked.
"Humare paas ek idea hai... Tum log Nandini ke ghar aajao... wahin se ready bhi ho jaana aur Nandini Ko bhi thode steps seekha dena.. " Navya suggested.
"Idea Bura nahin hai.." Both of them agreed..
"Theek hai hum log ghar jaake... We'll collect our things and we'll meet you at your place in an hour ok..." Aliya said.
"Ok sounds good..." Navya said.
Navya and all the others also join d them.
Nandini and Navya went to Nandini's house. Abhimanyu goes after promising that he'll join them in the night around 9 pm. Manik took all others with him for Malhotra Mansion.
In the Malhotra Mansion.
Mukti was looking at her dresses and deciding what to were. Aliya came out from the washroom getting fresh.
"Aliya...come here help me decide na... Ki lehnga pehnu ya anarkali suit... Coz salsa dance Karte time anarkali suit ziyada comfortable rahega nai..." Mukti asked Aliya as soon as she sees her.
"You can wear lehnga and than you can change before you dance..." Aliya suggested..
" Mukti mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hai..." Aliya hold Mukti's hand and made her sit on the bed and she also sits opposite her.
Mukti gives her a curious look.
"Listen Mukti...I'm your childhood friend right... So I have all the right to tell you whatever I feel..." Aliya said and Mukti was confused.
"Kya Bol rahi ho... Aliya saaf saaf bolo na..." Mukti got a little worried.
"Tum ne aaj jo kiya Woh theek nahi kiya... I didn't like what you did today..." Aliya told her in Avery cold tone.
"What did I do... " Mukti asked.
"Dekho I knew ki Manik is your brother and you loved him a lot... But now he's getting married... And you need to give him that space... You can't be just insecure or over possessive for him.. You know right what I'm trying to say..." Aliya asked.
Mukti didn't answer.
"Manik loves you a lot... You are his doll... And will always be... And you will always be his first priority... But ab uski Shaadi ho rahi hai... Uski zindagi mein ek aur person involved ho rahi hai... NANDINI as his LIFE-PARTNER... So give him some personal time of his own..." Aliya paused.
"I'm sure Manik ne mind nahi kiya hoga tumhara behavior...but Tum ab bachchi nahi ho... You are grown enough to understand all this... Nobody is going to stop you from these immature attitude... Because everyone loves you... Especially Manik..,, he will forget his own happiness and be there for you... If you just tell him..." Aliya looked at her and continued
"So what I'm trying to say is just act mature and give him his space..."
Mukti was still quiet.
"Tum kuch Bolti kyun nahi ho..." Aliya asked again.
"You are right Aliya... I realized what I did today... It's not that ki I'm immature or i was possessive about him... It's just that ki... I got scared at that time... Ki bhai ki life mein ek aur member add ho raha hai and he will give more attention to her than us... But I understood the scenario..." Mukti started explaining.
"But than I understood that bhai is a very sensitive and mature guy.,,, he knows how to handle the situations.
And you are right... I should give him space... Waise itni bhi over possessive nahi hoon..." Next time aise nahi hoga..," Mukti smiled.
"And Tum hona mujhe time to time remind karane ke liye... That I'm growing up so dont worry main aisa nahi karunga ab..." Mukti said to Aliya.
"Woh to main hoon hi... Aage se dhyaan rakhna..." Aliya said again.
"Acha meri maa zaroor dhyaan rakhungi... In fact main sonch rahi hoon ki bhai aur Nandini se sorry Bol doon apne childish behavior ke liye..." Realizing her mistake Mukti thought.
"Iski Lou zaroorath nahi hai... Maine kaha na unn logon me realize bhi nahi kiya hoga... I just want to make you understand things... That's all..." Aliya explained her.
Mukti hugged Aliya and smiled.
"I love you Aliya... You have been like my sister that I never had... Be like this always with me..." She said emotionally.
"Ok ok Chalo lets get ready... We have to leave..."
And they got ready and left for Nandini's place..
The Murthy Villa was shining very beautifully. With different colors of light outlining the villa making it like a bride. When you enter the settings was changed and it was different than that of the engagement decorations.
There was a stage set all the way at the right hand corner. And seating arrangements were all over the place as there's going to be more people coming today. And the parking was in the out side. Which is taken care by the valets. The bushes were all covered with small fluorescent lights giving a different brightness to the atmosphere. And right out side the entrance of the house is the food arrangements were held.
In Nandini's room Navya is almost ready. And Mukti and Aliya is doing their touch ups with the makeup. Navya is helping Nandini in putting on the jewelry. Today Aliya did a curls on Nandini's hair as her dress has a opening in the back. So it can cover her back and her hair can be left open as per Manik's choice.
Mukti was wearing lavender color anarkali suit with straps on the shoulder. And purple bottoms and purple duppatta wrapped around her neck. She left her her hair open with her natural curls.
Navya was wearing ink blue color blouse and light blue lehnga and light blue dupatta with silver embroidery on it. And she was putting her dupatta on the side which gave a little sexy look on her.
Aliya was wearing red color long opened shirt with golden work and with golden plazo pants and it has no dupatta.
Nandini's attire is such that she was wearing a darkest green velvet blouse which was supported with a clasp in the back by two dories one around her neck and another at her back. Her back was exposed as it was an opens back blouse. She was a little hesitant to wear such an over exposed blouse but Mukti and Aliya make her comfortable by leaving her hair open covering her most of the back part. And she has a contrast color lehnga of olive green and similar dupatta with full work on both the things. Navya set her dupatta in a way which covered from the front hiding her chest by the supports of pins on both of her shoulders. By that her small part of the stomach is showing.
Aliya did light make up on her with a light pink color lipstick. Mukti put a mang tika of emerald stone and Navya put on her emerald green earnings. And a beautiful neck less was kissing her neck. She was looking extremely beautiful.
"Nandini aaj tou Manik tumhe dekh ke behosh ho jaayega... You are looking damn beautiful... " Aliya complimented her.
Nandini got embarrassed hearing her comment.
"Tum aaj really bahut beautiful lag rahi ho... Bhabs..." Mukti gave her a hug and kissed her cheek.
"Acha chalo woh log pahunchte hi honge... Hum log neeche chalte hain..." Navya told every body and they started to exit the room.
All the girls were descending down the stairs. And Narendra and Amms were sitting on the sofas discussing some thing. When they heard there footsteps they looked at them. Seeing Narendra... Nandini walked to him and hugged him from the back.
" let me look at my baby..." Narendra bring her in front of him by pulling her hand.
"As usual you are looking like a princesses...hai na amma... Meri beti bilkul ek shehzadielag rahi hai..." Narendra's eyes get moist seeing her daughter in this attire..
"Nandu idhar aao..." Amms also called her... When she went to Amms.
"Meri beti hai hi pari iss mein koi shak Nahi... Tumhe kisi ki Nazar na lage..." Saying this Amms put a kala tika on the back of her ear...
"Amms ab hum log Bahar jaayen shayad woh log aa Gaye..." Navya asked.
"Haan chalo hum bhi chalte hain..." Amms also got up,to receive them.
All the members of Murthy's went at the entrance to receive the special guest that is Malhotra people. Manik Nyonika and vikram were in front and all the others were following them. Nandini and her father were standing at the huge wide door of the villa to,welcome them.
As soon as Manik's gaze fell on Nandini he was dumbstruck. His jaw was a little open. And he couldn't take his eyes off of her. She was looking ethereal and heavenly..
Her beauty has no bounds today. She was also wearing high heels today which is making her match his height.
Nandini lift up her gaze and saw Manik's eyes is fixed on her. She starts blushing right there but still she takes a look on him by the side of her eyes.
He is wearing a pista green color kurta with white pearl work on and around the collar and on the shoulders of the kurta and some work on the cuffs of the sleeves. And a white Punjabi salwar. A darkest green stoll to match with Nandini's attire.
She thought
'Aiyyappa he's looking so handsome today... Like a model...How could I keep my eyes off him... And concentrate on the Sangeet... Please help. '
Manik is looking at her constantly without blinking his eyes. To avoid the intensity of his gaze she bend down to take the blessings of Nani and Dadi. They were standing on the ground in front of the entrance as Nani and Dadi didn't want to climb the stairs.
As soon as she bend...her hair moved a little showing her back.
Manik's breath stopped a little.
'Oh gawd... How am I gonna keep my hands off her today... First of all she is looking damn beautiful and than she is wearing this... Help me resist her...' He turned his gaze to avoid more inconvenience.
Nani and Dadi gave their blessings to her and kissed her on her fore head one by one.
Nani called Manik.
" Manik puttar tu idhar aa..." She makes him stand by Nandini.
"Wahe guru Tum Dono ki Jodi banaye rakhe.. Hamesha aise hi saath rehna.." Nani blessed both of them with affection.
"Aur Hamesha aise hi khush rehna..." Dadi also kept her hands on both of their heads.
Two more pairs of eyes were gawking at their girls that is Cabir and Dhruv. They were looking at Navya and Aliya.
Cabir came in front of Nani and Dadi and said
"Dadi Ji Nani Ji... Mujhe bhi thoda aashirwaad de dijiye achi dulhan ka taki meri bhi Shaadi ho jaaye..." Bending in front of them.
Nani gave a pat on his head.
" kyun tujhe badi jaldi ho rahi hai Shaadi ki... Koi ladki doond li hai Kya..." Nani said.
"Shayad mil jaaye issi Shaadi mein... Bahut saari khoobsurat ladkiyan hai yahan par.." Cabir said looking at Navya by the side of his eyes.
Navya was all read seeing him watching her.
" chal shaitaan.." Nani laughed.
Chachi came and said.
"Bhabiji aap log kuch khaa lijiye pehle... Phir program shuru karte hai..."
"Manik Tum kuch kha lo tumne kuch nahi khaya hai subah se..." Nyonika asked Manik.
"Haan mom I'll eat in a while..." He was busy admiring Nandini's beauty.
Navya took Nani and Dadi to the tables and make them relaxed.
Cabir went after her. And Dhruv went after Aliya.
Rest of the elders were busy in their conversations while Manik grabbed Nandini's hand and dragged her behind a bush where no body can see them.
"So miss Nandini Murthy... Kya Irada hai..." He glide his left hand around her waist and pulled her to him with a jerk and hold her so close that she can feel his breath on her face. He get more closer to,her neck and nuzzled his nose in her hair inhaling her fragrance.
She got goosebumps all over her body. She was not looking at him. She hold him with help of his collar for support.
He removed her hair from the right side of her shoulder... Getting more clear access to her neck and kissed her.
She shivers under his hold and start breathing heavily. He clutched her waist more tighter.
"Aise clothes pahenna zaroori hai Kya... You know how difficult it is for me to resist you right now... " Manik was seductively telling her moving his lips back and forth on her neck to her ears without leaving her skin.
"You better say what I want to hear from you... Other wise you will Pay big time... You understand..." He is still lost in her..
She is losing her balance by his proximity. She clutched his collar tight for support. Feeling how he is effecting her he hold her tight by her waist pulling her more closer. There's not even space for air to pass in between them.
"Nandini..." Manik called his name very romantically.
"Hmmm..." She just hmmed.
"Do you love me..."he asked with the similar tone..
"Hmmm..." She again hmmed.
"Aise Nahi... Theek se bolo..." He was giving open mouth kisses on her neck again.
Butterflies were on are dancing in her stomach by his kisses.
Nandini was about to open her mouth to say something..
They heard Nyonika calling Nandini.
"Nandini... Nandini... Beta yahan aana zara... I want you to meet some people..."
She said.
"Mom bula rahi hai... Mujhe jaana hoga..." Nandini moved away from him.
He still didn't leave her. She was pleading him with her eyes. He left her and followed her..
Nyonika was introducing her with some guest. But her eyes were on Manik because he is just getting disheartened that at the very moment she has to leave. He massaged her.
"this is not done.. If you don't tell me before the program starts... Than you have to pay for the consequences.."
She read the massage and looked at him. He was eying her with a different kind of look.
She texted him back..
"I'm sorry... But it was not my fault na... Ok You tell me how should I say... I'll do it..."
He read it and
"I don't know how... Do what ever you have to but before... If the program starts than..."
He left the sentence in the middle
