Murthy Villa
Narendra murthy inform every body about the phone call in the presence of Namratha. She got very happy and let every body know that she is a very good friend of Nyonika Malhotra as she is a regular client in one of her salon. She also said that Mrs. Malhotra is a very warm and caring lady who loves her family and cares for them a lot. Mr Murthy ordered every body that tomorrow it should be a welcoming and inviting event as it's going to be the matter of Nandini's proposal. Al the family members knew about it because the Malhotra's were interested in Nandini. Around couple of month ago When Nandini went to a party with Navya and Namratha, Nyonika saw her there and instantly she fell in love with her innocence and beauty and she decided than and there that she will bring her to her house as Manik's wife and as a daughter of her house.
She talked to Namratha about Nandini and express her wish Namratha got so happy hearing it and promise Nyonika that she will discuss it with her jijaji and get back to her. Later she narrated every thing to Narendra and ask his opinion. N murthy felt so happy and contact malhotra and he gotta know that Vikram malhotra is one of his business friend. He finalized making a conversation with malhotra that thay will get their children married. This is how this proposal got exchanged, but the interesting thing in this whole case is , Manik and Nandini got to know about this a couple of days ago. They didn't know each other.
In Nandini's room,
" Navya papa didn't want to understand ki I don't want to get married yet aur tum mujhe yahan lecture de rahi ho. Even you don't want to understand na"
Nandini is in A very irritating mood since she heard that Malhotra's are coming for lunch tomorrow and more over they want Nandini to meet them.
" Kya samjhe hum Nandini ke tum aage Nahi badhna chahti ho that you didn't forget Aryaman. Kab tak wait karogi uska, 1 yr se bhi ziyada ho Gaya hai usse US jaake, he didn't call you he didn't email you Arey usne yeh jaanne ki koshish bhi Nahi ki ki tum kaisi ho... baat karti ho " Navya got very mad on Nandini told her in a very harsh tone.
" but Navya Maine hamesha se hi usse apne life-partner mana tha and never imagined anybody else in that place... "
" LIFE-PARTNER ... Iska matlab bhi jaanti ho it's a very heavy word and I'm sure tumhe is ke meaning Nahi pata" Navya interrupted Nandini " aur haan yeh khush fahmi apne mann se nikal do ki Aryaman aayega he was not even interested in you, he was just tagged you along with him for time pass, hum tumhe samjhate rahe but tumhari eyes pe patti chadhi hui thi" says Navya cleaning the bed to sleep and took out the blanket and pillow from the cupboard..
Navya is staying in Nandini's house tonight coz of tomorrow's lunch party, and she canceled her friends party too
" I know ki it's difficult to forget every thing and move on but always remember jo past tumhe hurt kare ya rulaye usse bhool Jana behtar hai" she said and lie down on the bed " ab tum bhi chup chap so jao tomorrow is a very big day and busy too" she turned off the light
Nandini was thinking and trying to understand what is happening. She is not ready yet. She trusted Aryaman and he betrayed her they were like best friends forever, like partner in crime. Since high school to college they were together Nandini was studying interior designing and he business. He lived with one of his relative here in India. One day he came and put bombshell on Nandini that his parents( who are settled in US) were calling him back to continue the education there. Nandini told him that he can complete the education and come back but he said he didn't know when he's gonna be back because his dad wants him to take care of his business after he's done with the studies. Nandini tried to explain him and convince him but he didn't even bother to understand. Nandini came out of her thoughts and got up from the bed and came in the balcony watching the sky and says " Aiyyappa help me please I'm so confused you know na my trust in friendship ,love and specially in humans is broken so badly how can I build it back " her eyes were filled with tears " I can't ruin anybody else's life because of my own insecurities please guide me what should I do" tears were falling off her eyes on her cheeks. " mama I miss you so much " she cried again
Nandini felt a hand on her shoulder she turned around and saw Navya standing there. Nandini hugged Navya and cried again. " bas bas sab theek hoga ab Rona band karo aur chalo so jao dekhna hamara dil kehta hai kal sab achcha hoga ". They went to sleep
Next day it was around 2 pm in the afternoon when narendra murthy came in the hall and said to all " arey bhai they r on their way they'll be here in 10 minutes sab ready hai na" " aap bilkul tension na le bade bhaiya sab preparation complete hai" chachi said coming out of the kitchen." Mahinder( chacha )Kahan hai " he asked "woh mathai pick Karne Gaye hain aate hi honge" chachi said "
Narendra..." Namratha aagayi "
Chachi... " Ji haan woh Nandini Ko dekhna gayi hain"
Narendra .. " zara tum bhi check karlo Nandini ready hui hainya Nahi "
Chachi ... " Ji main abhi dekhti Hun" replying to narendra chachi walk up the stairs
" Nandini Nandu tum ready tou ...she stopped as soon as she entered the room the view she saw in the mirror was serene. She walked to Nandini and make her stand up and gave a big hug " tumhe kisi ki buri nazar na lage " she took some Kajal from her eyes and put it at the back of her ear. " Bhabi ki kami lag rahi hai " chachi hide her tears and turn towards Navya and asked " Navya tum bhi ready ho gayi na " " Ji chachi " " Namratha Didi woh log pahunchne wale hai chaliye hum neeche chalte hain" she told Namratha who was giving touch ups to Nandini " haan chalo". They walked out of the room.
A black Mercedes SUV enters the Murthy villas Manik was driving and he stopped right in front of the entrance. He came out of the car and open the door for her mom. Vikram malhotra also stepped out of the car and Mukti too.
" aaiye aaiye" said narendra
V. Malhotra and Nyonika were walking in front and Manik and Mukti were following them.
" bhai ghar tou bada shaandaar hai " Mukti bend a little and whispered in Manik's ears.
Manik gives a glare to her. They walk inside.
Narendra " aao aao malhotra yeh meri maa hai " pointing to amms he introduce
"And yeh mere Chote bhai ki wife shanno aur yeh Namratha Jise tum Jante ho"
Malhotra said "namaste Ji " malhotra turned to Nyonika on his right " meri wife Nyonika malhotra and yeh Manik and Mukti "showing them in the back.. Narendra said " come here give me a hug peeche kyun khade ho " to Manik.
Nyonika greeted everyone shanno and Namratha with big smile and came close to amms and bend down to touch her feet " arey arey yeh Kya kar rahi ho " she puts her hand on Nyonika's head " maaji aap bade hai tou main aapke blessing le rahi Hun
Narendra ... " let's have a seat said giving a hug to Manik and pointin all of them to the sofas. Every body sat Nyonika shanno and Namratha sat on one sofa Nyonika in the middle. Narendra sat beside amms on the couch next to Manik and Mukti 's sofa. Mukti and Manik's back were to the stairs.
Vikram to narendra .." And murthy how's your health you really looking so week " narendra "health ka Kya hai aaj achcha hai kal achi Nahi it's all ok " " arey shanno jao bachchon Ko Bulawao " he said to chachi
" haan bade bhaiya main abhi lati Hun " chachi got up and walked
Manik was thinking ' it's so uncomfortable I don't know why I agreed to dad I shouldn't have come ' Manik was feeling so much irritating that he just wants to go out from there but he didn't have a choice and he was fidgeting with his fingers. "
Mukti noticed his uneasiness and moved a little closer to him and said" bhai relax other wise every body will get worried that pata Nahi Kya problem hai ki yeh ladki theek se baith bhi Nahi sakta" she put her hand on his hands.
" Oh Mahinder aajao" said murthy and turn to malhotra and introduce him " yeh mera chota bhai hai Mahinder and yeh uska beta Rishab " Mahinder said " hello Ji namaste sorry woh mere Haath mein saman hai main yeh rakh ke Aaya Hun " and he went to the kitchen. At the same time shanno Navya and Nandini were coming down the stairs shanno in front and Navya Nandini in the back.
" yeh lo Nandini bhi aagayi" said Namratha looking up at the stairs
Manik and Mukti stood up and Namratha also walked and comes close to them.
'what Nandini I think I heard this name somewhere ' Manik's senses got alert hearing the name ' but where remember Manik where did you hear this name" Manik was busy in his own thoughts ".
Wow bhai beautiful " Mukti whispered in Manik's ears after looking at Nandini
" bhai yeh tou bilkul doll hai exactly like a delicate porcelain doll and you'll be like a giant in front of her" Mukti started teasing him. Manik didn't turn as he was standing facing his back to them. Nandini came to her dad and stood beside him. She was wearing a half sleeves white anarkali suit and churidaar with red boarder all over. In jewelery she is wearing jhumkis with red pearls as a hanging, and two red kadas in both her hands. Namratha forcefully put some blush on and some lipgloss other wise she just wanted to wear the Kajal and her eye lashes are naturally curly.
Nyonika's face was very delighted seeing Nandini and she said " Murthy Ji aapki beti tou gudiya hai bilkul kisi ki nazar na lage " she also put the Kajal at the back of Nandini's ear
" come here and sit by me" Nyonika said and by holding Nandini she make her sat beside her. Manik who was still standing " arey Manik beta baitho tou " Nyonika said. he sat right away exactly in front of Nandini " ab bolo kaisi lagi tumhe Nandini " asked Nyonika again he startled and look up to see his mom but got shocked the view he has in front of him was raising his heart beat ' am I dreaming no no this can't be is it real is she real. Now I remember Nandini I heard yesterday her friend was addressing her by this name. I can't believe it really '...
Nyonika " Manik Kahan kho Gaye ". Manik was constantly gazing her without even blinking his eyes startled again
"Haan what mom " he panicked
Nyonika " kaisi lagi tumhe Nandini bilkul doll hai na pari jaisi , aisa lagta hai jaise aasman se koi apsara aayi ho haina" Manik didn't reply and bend his head down getting a little shy and a sweet little smile appeared at the corner of his lips. Manik thought ' mahn wow is this really happening , how like how , but what's happening wait a minute wait a minute I was so not ready for this and suddenly I'm feeling shy and happy my heart beat has raised and... I don't know what's going on I'm so confused '
" bhai itna sharmaoge tou dulhan Kya karegi " Mukti started teasing him again..
Navya was standing behind Manik and Mukti so she didn't look at Manik still. Chachi came and said " lunch is ready lets go aaiye na aap sab log " she asked every body.
Narendra said getting up from the chair " aisa karte hain hum log chalte hain lunch start karte hain and bache Hume join karlenge theek hai na malhotra "
Vikram " haan haan theek hai bhai let's go and Manik and Mukti make ur self comfortable yeh mere yaar ka ghar hai " Manik smiled and watching Nandini through Side ways ' she didn'tlook at me not even once why itna bhi Kya Sharmana ki ek nazar Utah ke bhi na dekho' he thought now he is getting more agitated he wants her to look at him once.
' Kya karun ki woh mujhe dekhe '
Mukti who was waiting for all the adults to leave the hall she got up,from her seat and sat beside Nandini and said
" Hi Nandini I'm Mukti Manik ki choti behen , wow yaar you r so beautiful you have such a doll face I'm really impressed with your milky skin.
Navya came from the back of the sofa and intoduced herself to both Mukti and Manik and said
" hum Navya hai Nandini ki cousin cum friend aur aap... " she turned to Manik and paused
"Aap to woh mall wale ho na " as soon as Navya remind them of the mall Nandini raised her eyes to look what she is talking about and her eyes met with Manik's eyes who watching her constantly since a long time. It was like Manik,is trying to hold her gaze through his eyes. He didn't blink his eyes 'wow what a beauty does this kind of beauty exist still in this world. So pure and natural. Am I really going to get married to this girl'
Nandini was watching him and trying to look down but it feels like there's some kind of unknown pull which is not letting her move her gaze from him Nandini feels that his eyes are pleading her to not move away and so much of intensity in it she couldn't handle it and blinked her eyes and look other way.
Navya got up from her place and sat on the sofa near Manik and said " haan tou junior malhotra sahab agar aapki Shadi Nandini se hogayi tou hum rishte mein aapki Saali hue jo ek mazakh ka rishta hai tou Hume yeh bataiye ke aap ladkiyon se takrane ke alawa aur kya karte hain."
" aapka ek band bhi hai na Fab 5 "
Manik cleared his voice " Ji Navya Ji hamara ek band bhi hai and for your information hamare textile mills hai jo main aur dad sambhalte hain you can say that I handle most of the part. And any thing else you want to know " Navya got embarrassed and moved a little away and turn to Mukti
" hamara to intro hi Nahi hua I'm Navya " " I'm Mukti "
" Navya mujhe ek Zara ek minute ke liye idhar aana " she got up and pulled Navya with her hand.
Manik again look up,and saw her she was looking down Manik thought ' I want to talk to her and hear her voice but how... What should I do how will I make her talk '
Nandini was feeling his gaze on herself and thought 'Aiyyappa what's happening why is he looking at me like that, what should I do , I can't even go from here main Kya karun , please help"
At that instant chachi came and said " chalo bachcho tum log bhi aajao khane"
Navy and Mukti wer whispering somethings to each other.
Navya " Kya baat hai Mukti tumhe kuch chahiye"
Mukti " arey Nahi yaar but abhi ke liye kuch chahiye ". " Matlab"
" Matlab yeh ki tum yeh jo dekh rahi ho na bhai and Nandini Ko aisa haal rah tou yeh shaadi tak bhi ek doosre se baat Nahi karenge inte shy horahe hai ki bas. Are these today's generation people "
Navya... " hum samjhe Gaye. Kuch Karna padega. Chalo pehle lunch karte hain phir plan karte hain.. Waise Mukti tum tou bilkul hamare jaisi ho yaar chul buli mazakh Karne wali hasne hasane wali ab tou mazaa aayega kyun "
Mukti raised her hand " give me five " and they hi fied
On the table
Nyonika " shanno khan bada mazedaar hai "
Chachi " arey Kahan yeh tou bas jaldi jaldi mein Maine arrange kar Iiya ab tou daawaton ka silsila chalta rahega tou aur bhi mazedaar khane khilaungi main aapki"
Malhotra. " bhai murthy Hume Nandini bahut pasand hai main ek baat Manik se confirm karlun phir baat Pakki kar lete hain kyun Nyonika tum Kya kehti ho"
Nyonika ..."
Meri tou shuru se hi haan hai "
Malhotra ... " tujhe agar Nandini se puchne hai tou puchle " said to narendra
When every body is done eating narendra excused him self and took Nandini to his room and asked her " Nandu What's your decision "
Nandini didn't reply and she was standing in front of her dad
" listen Nandini they want to know your answer now. They r waiting for my answer"
Somebody knocked on the door " kaun" asked narendra beta main hum darwaza kholo
Nandini opens the door. Amms ,chachi and Namratha came inside and closed the door lightly
" ab aap log ise samjahiye " narendra was getting very irritated
Namratha " Nandini Kya hua meri Jaan tell me you didn't like Manik ya his family if you don't like it we will not force you" asked her putting her hands on her cheeks
Chachi also came to her and asked " arey na pasand and ki tou baat hi nahin hai Manik itna sona Munda hai aur uske ghar wale woh bhi bahut ache hain. Phir bhi tujhe koi doubt hai tou ham sonchenge"
Amms said " kyun meri bachchi Ko tang karrahe ho dono yahan Nandu" she sat on the bed and call her. Nandini sat on the edge of the bed too " dekh beta tujhe koi bhi zabardasti Nahi karega agar tujhe yeh rishta pasand Nahi hai tou tu bolde hum mana kardenge theek hai na kanna"
Nandini hugged amms and started sobbing " Kya hua kanna "
Nandini separate herself from amms and wiping of her tears " amms aap log mere bade hain aap log jo bhi decision lenge mere liye achcha hi hoga no aap log theek samjhe woh kare main bas papa Ko khush dekhna chahti Hun "
" Sachchi " chachi ran to hernand hugged her even Namratha hugged her " Nandu ne haan kardi narendra came and put his hand on Nandini's head and gave a smile and walked out of the room
On the other side out side the house in the lawn becaus of the good weather malhotra family was sitting and making the final decision
" Manik phir tumne Kya soncha tumhara Kya decision hai " V. Malhotra asked bending down and putting both of his hands on the table
Nyonika... " Manik Jaan tum sonch samajh kar decision lo koi force Nahi hai humne tumse kaha tha ki agar tumhe yeh rishta pasand Nahi Aaya to tumhe koi force Nahi karega" said putting her hand on his shoulder.
" yes son final decision will be yours " malhotra said
" mom dad aap mere parents hai bade hai mera achcha hi sonchenge aap ka decision hi mera decision hai aap log jo sahi samajh the hain wo kijiye mujhe koi aiteraaz Nahi hai " Manik said looking down trying to avoid the direct eye contact from there parents
"Yess yeses " Mukti jumped from her chair and gave a big bear hug to her big brother
" I knew it I knew it" vikram and Nyonika got up from the chair and hugged him
" God bless you. Khush kar ditta " said Vikram
Nyonika also hugged him and kissed his forehead " hamesha khush raho "
" murthy oh murthy Kahan hai yaar he went inside the villa followed by Nyonika all gathered in the hall malhotra hugged murthy and said
" Manik Ko rishta pasand hai "
" Nandini ne bhi haan kardi hai"
" Congratulations every body. Aap sab Ko bahut bahut Mubarak ho" said malhotra in loud voice.. Every body exchange hugs and congrats
But two people were standing in there own world and thoughts. Mukti said teasing
" waise bhai I knew it ki aap haan hi Bologe jaise aap Nandini Ko dekh rahe thena I understood ki aap Ko Nandini pasand aagayi " she hauuged Manik again asked looking up to him " pasand aagayi na bhai haan bolo bolo " Manik smiled and didn't say anything and patted on her head. She ran from there inside screaming
" I got my answer "
Manik stood there and what just happened did I just accepted her.. I wanted to avoid this rishta but something else happened... ... Am I ready for this... But when I look at her it seems like every thing is falling on to its correct place... I already say yes than why this uneasiness... What is she thinking about me... She didn't even look at me properly will she say yes... How should I know her decision... I need to talk to her... Ya I need to talk to her ... But how she barely talks... Kya karun mahn... Manik malhotra calm down he told himself... Take every thing step by step.
Nandini came into her room and walked to the balcony...what did I just do... Did I just say yes... Those eyes why am I not taking it out from my mind ... I just agreed for my marriage to a person Whom I don't know anything about and how will I manage Aiyyappa what just happened. He is definately a very handsome man that light jeans and white shirt and dark blue blazer suits him... What... What's going on I didn't look at any man after... But now what's happening to me. Aiyyappa please me what is this feeling ... Why am I feeling so uneasy ...
Nandu neeche aa interrupted her thoughts by chachi
Out side the house Manik was still in a thought process
"Bhai you are needed inside" called Mukti from the door Manik walked inside
Murthy gave a big hug with a very wide smile " congratulations beta welcome to our family"
Nandini came down and Nyonika just gave her a tight hug and picked her forehead
"congratulations bachche aaj se tum Hamari amanath is ghar mein kuch hi Dinon mein hum tumhe le jaayenge "
" Mukti mera bag dena " Mukti passed her the bag "main shagun le kar aayi thi "
Nyonika's took out a box and and opened it and take out the bangles from that and put it on Nandini's hand " ab Nandini hamari hui" Nyonika declared
All are very happy and one person is trying to look at Nandini to see her facial expression but couldn't because of the crowd ' have to meet her and talk to her but how... That's the question going on in Manik's mind
