Part 2-A
Malhotra Mansion
Manik and Mukti walked inside the house very quietly without making any noise. It was almost evening so the house was not that much lit up. Nyonika and Vikram was having evening tea near the pool side. Nyonika's back was to the door. Manik came and vikram saw him, Manik just put a finger on his mouth to gesturing not to say anything, as soon as Nyonika put the cup down Manik closed her eyes from the back. Nyonika got surprised and touched his hands and moved it all the way to the back
" Manik" She said " surprise " said Manik taking his hands away , " what mom aap kaise Jaan leti hai "
Nyonika " maa Hun tumhari , tumhari har aahat Ko jaanti Hun "she stood up and Manik came in front of her and gave a big bear hug to her " happy birthday mom " and gave a kiss on her forehead
"Bhai move na I want to hug her to and wish her too" Mukti who standing now started pushing him to hug her mom.
Vikram smiling looking at both of them fighting for her mom
" haan Bhai ab Hume koi kyun puchega sab kuch to tumhari mom hi hai "
He said teasing them. Manik left his mom and gave a hug to vikram and said
" dad how r you "
" main theek Hun how was ur journey and your concert " malhotra asked giving him a tap on his back.
" asusual very good we rocked but very tiring too" said Manik
" dekha tumhare dad kaise jealous ho rahe hain " said Nyonika hugging Mukti with a big smile " many many happy returns of the day mom very very happy birth day"
Mukti said and gave two big kisses on both of her cheeks.
Nyonika... " thank you both of you , Kya baat hai aaj bahut pyaar Aa raha hai apni mom per"
Mukti..." I missed you mom " and again hugged her
" and mera natkhat bachcha mujhe Nahi miss kiya" asked vikram raising his brows
" oh dad I missed you too " Mukti said and walked to her dad and hugged him and he hugged her back giving a peck on her hair.
Nyonika..." I'm so happy to see you both , aaj ke din I didn't wanted anything more mere dono sweet hearts mere saath hai thats all I need " keeping her hands on both of their heads she said
" achch go and get freshen up I'll see the food is ready or not and Manik me and your dad needs to talk to you about some thing" she said looking at him
" about what mom " he asked giving a questioning look to both his parents..
" we will talk when you get freshen up" she said, Mukti already gone inside
" aaan mom we r not eating at home today we' ll go out for dinner and aap kitchen mein Nahi jaoge aaj" he said giving a peck to his mom before leaving.
" abhi baat Karna zaruri hai Kya nyonika" asked V. malhotra sitting back again
" they just came kal kar Lena "
" Nahi vikram aaj hi kar lete hain aur achche Kaam mein deri Nahi karni chahiye"
She replied in a very happy tone
" ok do what ever you want , waise bhi you r the boss" vikram smiled at her
" I want my kids to be happy always and let's hope ki hamara decision unhe pasand aaye " thinking some thing she said
" hamare bachche hain I have full trust on them and we raised them with lot of freedom and open mind mentality so don't worry it'll be fine"
Nyonika .." But main apne decision un per daalna Nahi chahti , I want them to be happy whole heartedly "
" oh ho don't take tension , kaha na just wait till we talk to him " he said. " ok let's get ready Bhai kids are home let's have fun with them getup getup" he grabbed her hand pull her to stand up.
In Manik's room,
Manik put his blazer on his bed and about to take out his shirt, remembered that face and thought ' what a beauty how can someone be so innocent ' he think something and put his hand in his pant pocket and took out the bracelet and saw it was a very delicate gold bracelet with small gold beads around ' she didn't even look at me but she was so cute dil chahta tha bas tumhe dekhta hi rahun ' he started humming

' woh doosri ladki uska Naam kuch keh rahi thi but it was so noisy there I couldn't get her name' oh ya I have her number shall I call her and tell her about her bracelet but what if any body else picks up the phone' he thought. He took out his phone and dailed the number and it started ringing. "Hello who is this " an old ladies voice he thought " he cut the phone ' what should I tell I didn't even remember her name I was so lost in her that... Oh my what's wrong with me why am I just thinking about her ' he got frustrated and through the phone on the bed put the bracelet in his night stand drawer and walked in the wash room.
Amms was saying hello hello right at that moment Nandini and Navya walked in amms said " are baba baat Nahi Karna tha tou phone kyun Kia "
Navya..." Kya hua amms" saying this she throw herself on the sofa.
Amms ..." Tum log aagaye pata Nahi koun tha shayad usko mujhse baat Nahi karni thi"
Navya ... " Arey Nandini Lao na woh bags let's show the jewelery to amms " she grabbed the bags from her hands
Nandini was about to go get water from the kitchen but Ramesh their servant came out with 2 glasses of water and chachi came out from her room. Nandini's chacha and chachi lives in the same house. They have a son Rishab who is 18 yrs old. Navya took out the boxes from the packet and opened it " chachi amms dekhiye yeh maa ne Nandini ke liye order kiya tha and yeh hamare liye and yeh bracelet specially for Nandini ke liye " Navya show 2 beautiful kundan pendant sets and a charm bracelet with a moon, sun , a heart, a bell , a cross ,and a star as the charms
" batiye na kaise hain " Navya asked looking at chachi. chachi ... " Beautiful , hamari Nandini par har cheez suit karti hai "
Nandini after drinking water " but Navya abhi 2 months before hi Maasima new gold chain le thi mere liye phir yeh ..." She paused
Navya ... " woh Hume Nahi pata maa ne kaha yeh pick karke yahan aajao , anyways waise bhi tum kabhi apne liye kuch logi Nahi aur na pasand karogi tou Hume hi yeh sab Karna padega " ... " pasand Aaya na chachi
" haan bahut pretty hai " chachi said
" Nandini tum aagaye beta " narendra ask coming out of his room. Nandini went to her dad and gave a hug and she helped him sit on the couch. She asked " papa aap he medicine li with milk "
Narendra ..." Haan baba le Li and milk bhi piliya "
Navya " uncle dekhiye na yeh kaise hai " she show the jewelery to narendra and asked
" very beautiful acha hua tum log yeh le aaye warna Namratha( Navya's mother) Ko,Jana padta "
"Navya tum yahin ho I was about to call you tum Nandini ke ghar pahnchi ho ya nahin"
A lady entered the Murthy villa with a big smile wearing a mega sleeves white top and black and grey long skirt and a multi color scarf around her neck.
" Maasimaaa " screamed Nandini and ran to hug her " aap surf Kaam kimwajah se yahan aate ho warna you don't even remembers me "
" no meri Jaan it's not like that you know na handling 5 salon at a time is not easy, busy ho Jaata hai but... You know what I Love you so no complains " she lovingly gave a kis on her fore head
Narendra said.." Namratha tum ne mera Kafi Kaam Asan kardiya hai " Namratha said
" arey jijaji Navya ka ya Nandini ka Kaam baat tou ek hi hai na"
" waise Namratha Didi aap me Nandini Ko maa ki kabhi kami hone Nahi di aap ke Gina tou hum kuch Nahi kar pate " chachi said coming to her
" bas bas bhi karo don't treat me like an out sider, yeh ghar meri behan ka hai to mera bhi hua , chalo khane mein Kya hai l'm very hungry"
Namratha walked went near amms and side hugged her and asked " kaisi ho maa "
" main bilkul theek " replied amms putting her left hand on her her head and said
" khush raho"
" I'll check the dinner Nandini Navya chalo meri help karo" chachi went in the kitchen calling both the girls"
In the Restuarant,
Manik and his mom were sitting side by side and Mukti and her dad were sitting together.
"Mom I want to give you something " he took out a bag and gave it to Nyonika. She took it and opened it. It's a maroon velvet box Nyonika looked at vikram and than at Manik. " common mom open it " Manik said in a joyous voice. She opened it their were 2 diamond bangles in it. Nyonika's eyes filled with tears looking at it she turned to Manik and said. " thank you beta " and put her head on his shoulder. Manik gave a side hug to her and said " mom you don't have to say thanks to me coz yeh sab aap hi ki wajah se hai you raised me in such way that today I'm a successful business man and a rockstar all because of you and dad... So all thanks to you and dad " Manik looked at his dad in a very appritiating gaze "
" oh my god what sentiments people I'm hungry can we order food " Mukti said getting bored with this emotional drama
" ok ok relax Mukti we'll order " taking a deep breadth
" mom dad you guys wanted to talk to me about something what is about" al of a sudden he asked them after giving the order
Nyonika and vikram looked at each other. Nyonika started the conversation
" Manik now that you are settled in your life me and your dad want you to get married and start your new family" Manik who was drinking a sip of water stopped in the middle and looked at them and removed the glass and paused
" we already saw a girl , she is your father's business friends daughter". She paused a little and said " she is a very sweet girl from a very good family I use to knew her mom but she is no more but still the girl is so well mannered and very caring. I saw her in one or two parties. I'm friends with her aunt " Nyonika stopped and looked at him
And she turned to her husband and jestured him to say some thing.
" haan Manik ache log hai I know her father he is a good friend of mine family bhi achchi hai what do you think" said his dad. Manik kept quite for some time bending his down and than turn to his parents and said
" mom dad why so early itni jaldi bhi Kya hai it's not like I don't want to get married but ...he paused and his thoughts went suddenly to the mall girl her innocent face just flashed in front of his eyes he just tried to avoid the gaze of his mom and dad
" but what tumhe koi pasand hai ,... Agar hai tou bolo than we will talk to those people"
Asked Nyonika very eagerly.
" no no mom it's not at all like that abhi jaldi Kya hai and pehle Mukti Shadi karte hain na phir we will think about me " says Manik trying to divert the topic.
" Ohh bhai bhai please don't put me in the middle haan I'm too young to get married aur waise bhi abhi mujhe Shadi Nahi. Karni " Mukti who was listening to this whole conversation quietly jumped from her seat.
" no but on a serious note mom dad marriage is a big commitment and I think I'm not ready for it " Manik got serious.
" Manik main pehle apne ghar mein ek beti laaungi phir apni beti vida karungi Mukti ki Shadi karke mujhe mera ghar suna Nahi Karna " says Nyonika
" yeyiii go mom" clapped Mukti excitedly.
" look son " vikram started " I know it's a big commitment but you know what it's a very interesting one. You can say it by looking at me and your mom. It has all shades of life when you have LIFE-PARTNER in your life who is beside you in all the phases of your life you'll have more fun and you have to trust me on this".
" you r right dad but..." He paused again
" ok let's do this we will go to their house and meet them. We will not decide any thing until you meet them and see them what say" says vikram putting his hands together.
" your decision will be the final one" he gave Manik's hand a squeez.
" I know dad I trust your decision agar aap log keh rahe hain tou theek hi honge woh log but..." Before Manik completed vikram interrupted in the middle and said
" it's done than we'll go tomorrow at lunch to their house"
" what " Manik panicked and said " itni jaldi"
" actually they were waiting for my call so I have to call. And I'll call now "
" what do you say Nyonika " vikram asked her
" nek Kaam mein deri Nahi karni chahiye" she said happily
Vikram took out his cell phone and make a call. The phone was picked up by narendra.
" Murthy Kaya hal hai how r you feeling now "
Narendra..." I'm good kaise yaad kiya"
Vikram... " hum log kal lunch par aana chahte hain Manik and Mukti Ko lekar. Yeh log aaj hi aaye hain concert se,, so I was waiting for them, and hum logon ne jo baat ki thi we'll discuss on that too tou ,, aajayen "
Narendra... " isme puchne ki Kya baat hai you r most welcome tou kal lunch hum saath karenge ok "
Vikram... " done... See ya tomorrow than bye take care "
" so tomorrow we'll go al together " he told the family
Manik just nodded and didn't say anything. He was confused and didn't know what's going on. He never gave a thought on this topic and again that girls beautiful face flashed in front of his eyes. He excused himself from there and walked out of the Restuarant to get fresh air. He didn't want to say no to his parents but marriage... And he thought to himself ' why am I thinking about her... Why can't I forget her face ... It's stuck in my head... Ufff my god what's happening why am I feeling so uneasy,...
Ok I'll go with mom and dad tomorrow and after coming home I'll make some excuse and avoid this proposal...ohh cabir where r u man I need a friend now ' he makes himself relax and rubbed his and on his face and went inside.
