Chapter:39

Nandini was sitting on her bed hugging lena and crying. Manik felt his heart stop beating at that tym. He come close to her and held her hand but Nandini pulled away her hands from his.

Manik: princess I am sorry so sorry I should not have yelled I am sorry.

Nandini didn't look at him in fact she hugged lena more tightly moving away from him which hurt him deep inside his heart. He move more closer and she crawl away further. Manik tried to hold her face but she jerked his hand.

Nandini: d-don't to-touch me u-u wi-will beat me no no do-don't to-touch me

Manik (trying to hold him): princess listen I am sorry don't get afraid

Nandini (panicked tone): no no stay away

Manik hold her from her shoulder and brought her closer. She was crying terrifically, she jerked his hand away and stood up from the bed she tried to walk but felt weak in her knees and fell down. Manik stood from bed to help her but Nandini fearfully crawled to a corner.

Manik was so shocked seeing her then the memory of past tym hit him when he first went to Nandini's house and she was terrified he didn't had slightest idea his small action will cause this damage. He went towards Nandini and sat in front of her she shift more to a corner.

Nandini (sobbing): p-plz dd-don't be-beat me i-I a-am sorry ddd-don't b-beat mm-me

Manik (holding her face): I'll never hurt u princess plz don't get afraid. It's me your ghost. U know I will never hurt u even in my dreams.

Nandini (shaking in fear): u-u wo-wont bb-beat me ff"for mm-my mis-mistake ll-like him

Manik (softly): whom Nandini

Nandini: th-that mm-man

Manik can't figure out what she is trying to say but before he can think anything his lips automatically asked her.

Manik : what did that man did to u

Nandini: h-he wi-will al-always shout a-at m-me. hh-he he wi-will bb-beat me with b-belt sl-slap me and ki-kick me. He always p-pull my hairs h-he he

And with that she started crying very badly Manik hugged her and she hid her face in his chest crying. A rush of extreme anger and pain run through his veins he wanted to kill that person right away who did this to her.

Manik (angrily): Nandini who was him. Tell me his name. (No response) princess come on plz tell me who was he. (No response)

Manik looked down and got shocked Nandini had fainted.

Manik: oh! Shit princess.

He carried her in bridal style and made her lay on bed. He start slightly slap her cheeks to wakes her up.

Manik (slowly slapping her cheeks): princess plz wake. Princess open ur eyes plz. Princess ur scaring me sweetheart.

MANIK'S POV

My all try went in vain as she didn't even flinch. I felt as my heart has stopped beating. Nothing will happen to her. i can't even imagine my life without her. no what should I do.

I sat and hugger her tightly tears were flowing from my eyes. "princess open ur eyes plz I can't live without u. plz open ur eyes plz".

"Manik u can't get weak u have to do something. She needs u" a voice pooped in my head striking me back through reality. I picked my phone and dial a number I know only he can help me. The phone was soon picked up.

Voice: Manik my boy long tym. What's sup han!

Manik: Ravi uncle come to my apartment right now.

Ravi: Manik is everything ok

Manik: I said just come over here.

Ravi: ok I am on my way.

He is one of the best psychiatrists in India. I can only count on him at this tym. Ravi uncle is my father's friend and treat me like his own son he understand me more than my parents. He was the one who understood me most after mama's death and also help me by advising my father to send me to warrior high. I really hated my parents and didn't want to stay with them.

After a while

I tried everything to wake her up but it wasn't working I was sitting there hugging her close to my heart unaware of what to do.

"DING"

I stood up carefully laying her head on bed and move out to open the door.

Me: uncle plz come in fast

I didn't let him chance to protest and bring him inside the room he looked shocked seeing princess. He was about to ask but I cut him in between

Me: Ravi uncle I'll tell u everything later but plz check her she fainted I tried my best to wake her up but plz

Right now I know my eyes must be teary even uncle seems to be shocked as for first tym I am behaving like this after mama. He nodded and starts checking her, and then took out a syringe and injects her I look away.

Ravi (gaining Manik's attention): Manik she may be fainted bcz of fear. Her BP was low I have inject her she will be fine.

I sighed and kissed her forehead and then hugged her tightly to my chest i can't lose her only the thought of anything happening to her kill my inside. I kissed her whole face madly her eyes, cheeks, nose, her jaw, chin.

Ravi: Manik

I looked back to my uncle thousands of questions written on his face. I sigh and gesture him to wait outside he nodded and went away. I laid princess head carefully on pillow slowly closing the door time for some explanation.
