Sorry everyone, I wasn't able to update the chapter earlier due to work commitments...Well, i was requested by a reader before that i should upload the attires for characters, so considering that request I decided to do it...I had uploaded Devika's Attire on PAGE 36.

Chapter 12 (A)
The Journey Is About to Start
We all left from Nandini's place and then FAB 5 decided to stay over at my flat. On the way everyone left no chance to irritate me with the fact that Devika was to be My 'Girlfriend'. We all retired to our rooms and started to pack our luggage. If my mind was irritated and pissed off with the dare I had got, then on the other side my heart was happy as it would be my first trip with Nandini.
I kept tossing on the bed and was trying to figure out which feeling was more dominant and obviously it was my heart which over-powered my mind...Nandini had decided to give a wakeup call to everyone...The excitement that she would wake me up was so much that I wanted the clock to strike 5:30 a.m. in a blink of a second...I kissed Nandini's photograph that was in my bedside drawer...I hugged the frame and slept...
MORNING (5:45 a.m.)
My phone kept ringing and then I finally located it and took the call...it was the call I was waiting for, call from 'My Nandini'... I was still sleepy "Hi, Nandini..."
Nandini- Hi, Manik good morning...get up fast, we'll be late otherwise...
"Hhhmmm"
Nandini- Manik hhhmmm kya hota hai...come on lazy boy get up... I need to call Aryan also...jaldi karo Manik...
"Nandini it's not fair, talk to me na..." I was still in my slumber and spoke to her like a baby who wanted his demands to be fulfilled at any cost.
Nandini- Manik what's wrong with you, please get up na and wake up others too...now I am keeping the phone...bye...
"Hello, no please, mujhe baat karni hai tumse..." I was still in my babyish mode..."Hello Nandini, Hello..." I was now awake and sat on my bed...She didn't speak and I thought she kept the phone...
Nandini - yes Manik...looks like you are up...go get ready...bye...
"Fine..." I said half-heartedly...I stretched my arms and then looked at her picture...I smiled and kissed her forehead in the pic..."Good Morning..." I got up and went to check on others and made sure everyone was up... we all got ready and I asked Ramesh to make coffee for everyone..." Ramesh, voh Nandini ne jo bola tha everything is ready na??"
Ramesh- Ji bhaiya, didi ne jo bola tha voh sab snacks pack kar diye hai sabke liye...Bas abhi car mein rakh deta hun...
Nandini was not living with me, but the people who worked with me used to love and respected her a lot. They would readily do everything she would request them to do...I was amazed to see such enthusiasm and affection Ramesh and Shanta Tai had for her...I smiled and thought "Jab iss ghar mein nai ho, still you manage everything...what if you lived with me..." the thought of living with Nandini forever always made me feel like I was in heaven...And, then our dearest Cabir came...
Cabir- Manik, so all set to meet your girlfriend...
"Girlfriend???" I was confused as I had still not confessed anything to Nandini...
Cabir- Kyun bhul gaya, your dare...your girlfriend DEVIKA (he stressed the word girlfriend)...at least drop her a good morning message... (Everyone joined Cabir for the teasing session)
Finally, reality hit me..."Dammm Cabir, I just don't know how I will tolerate that girl...Nandini is too much at times..." My beautiful morning thoughts had now wiped off with the name of Devika and thinking about the dare...She wasn't bad, but just a bit crazy and impulsive...I said to myself...
"God knows aaj kya kya hone wala hai mere saath...just hope meri izzat bachh jaye bas...". I wanted to skip the trip itself to escape the torture I would have to go through all day being DEVIKA'S BOYFRIEND'...and I knew Nandini would leave no stone unturned to make her punishment more torturous for me...
We all left for her flat...
NANDINI'S POINT OF VIEW-
(NANDINI'S APARTMENT)
I had finally managed to wake up everyone except my lazy friend Devika...I knew how much she loved sleeping..."Devika get up its 6:15 a.m. now..." I had by then made coffee for her and then opened my wardrobe to get my clothes out.
Devika- Nandu, please let me sleep...please...don't get into your Hitler mode yaar...
"Devika, everyone would be here in an hour, remember we are going to Lonavala..." She didn't pay heed to my words...I knew how to wake her up and smiled...I casually said to her "Devika, I thought you would be excited for being Manik's girlfriend for today...fine agar nai ho toh koi nai, I'll tell Manik..." And she sat on the bed with a wide smile and her eyes were wide open now...She screamed...
Devika- No, Nands...please...I'll get ready...Please help me in selecting what I should wear...God I need to look my best...
"Drama Queen..." ...I helped her and then went to take shower...We both were getting ready... Sam called up and informed they would reach in 10 minutes...Devika was busy admiring herself in the mirror and that made me smile...but, back in my head a thought came "She is so happy, but Manik..." I chuckled on that thought as I knew how Manik finds her...It will be so much fun to make him fluster...
However, an unknown happiness crept in me knowing how Manik didn't back off with the dare and without a complain he gave in for my both punishments...After saying my morning prayer, I spoke to Bappa "I know aap thode gussa hai mujhse, as I am troubling him...but thoda chalta hai...ok promise after this no more punishments for him...par aaj toh thoda trouble banta hai please..."
(Bappa knew she will trouble his royally spoilt brat Manik a bit today...but, was relieved to know she wasn't thinking of giving him any further punishments...
Bappa- Good girl Nandini...finally...ok fine but only today you can trouble him...)
We were all set and I was finding my sunglasses and then I thought "let's start with morning dose Manik Malhotra"... Then I spoke to Devika..."Devika, why don't you drop a good morning message to him...or wait...in fact when he comes you should then wish him personally..." I knew how impulsive she was and what she would do...Poor Manik...
Devika- Ya Nandu you are right...cool I'll do that...by the way tell me something...whenever we go for road trips you were such clothes... I mean in general you don't dress up like this...open shirt and all...You know na how Sexy' you look...
I smiled "Shut up Devika...you know it why I wear...I feel comfortable in them..." We got a call from Cabir and he informed us that they would reach in 5 minutes...Aryan and others had already reached in the parking...
"Devika, fast we are late..." We took our bags and then we locked the apartment and reached down...But, then I got a call from a colleague in London..."Devika you push ahead...I'll come in 2 minutes..." I took the call as it was important...While speaking to my colleague I saw my friends and FAB 5 were greeting each other...the line wasn't clear so I didn't step out, but could clearly see everything...
While speaking my eyes fell on Manik, he was speaking to Sam and Kafeel...The first thought that came to my mind was that how handsome he looked today...I was a bit lost in admiring him...And didn't realise that my colleague had called me thrice to check if I was listening...I got out of my trance and then replied back to him...
The call got over and I thought of informing my parents that I was leaving for Lonavala ...Hold on where is Devika?? Then I realised she was next to me all this while and I saw her busy with her make-up, I just couldn't believe she was doing that..."Devika, what's wrong with you...you took almost an hour to get ready aur aab yeh...Look Manik is already here..." I knew what fireworks will now happen...But, yet I said all this with a straight face...
Devika- Oh my god he is here...He is looking so handsome Nandu... (She was admiring him... She then quickly tuck her lipstick inside her bag and began to briskly walk towards Manik, but screamed)...Nandu come fast...
Now that was the sight I wanted to see...I knew what she would do...I didn't want to miss this sight...But, again a call..."Bappa what...I can't miss Manik's expressions...aur yeh call pe call...not fair "I pouted my lips in annoyance...I disconnected the call to see the scene in front of me...And it was priceless...I laughed over it...Then I called the person again...
MANIK'S POINT OF VIEW-
We were waiting for Nandini and Devika to come down, we all greeted each other and were discussing the route to take. Back in my mind I had decided to make Nandini sit in my car so that I could be with her...While speaking to Sam and Kafeel, I saw Devika coming out with her bag and a wide smile on her face and screamed my name...
Devika - Manik Baby...
Before I could react she came and hugged me tightly, I was startled with her sudden hug. She then left me and out of the blue kissed me on my left cheek and then on my right cheek and wished me good morning...I was damm irritated "What the hell...what was this...Baby...like seriously...has she lost it..." And then to again agitate my irritation she wrapped her arms around my hand and stood smiling...I said to myself "what the hell is happening..."
FAB 5 was enjoying the view and why they wouldn't, after all I was in a difficult spot...I was their target, all thanks to Nandini...But, then it struck my mind...I said to myself "Devika doesn't have much guts to come and kiss me, I know she is a bit scared of me..."
Devika- Manik I would have called you in the morning only, but then Nandini told I should wish you personally...
"Ohhh so it's her behind this...Nandini..." I was pissed off...
Aryan- Hey Devika, where is Nands???
Devika- Ohh ya she is coming, she got a call from her colleague...
Aryan - ok...then I guess we should set the Satnav (satellite navigator) till then...
We set our respective satnav's and Devika was busy being around me...I was already getting pissed off with her over-do lovey-dovey attitude...I was checking my phone when my eyes fell on Nandini...
My eyes were wide open when I saw her and my jaw touched the floor...I was so captivated with way she looked and the way she walked...I just couldn't blink my eyes for a second...For the first time I said seen her like this... I just could manage to say "she looks dammm hottt..."
She was busy looking into her phone...She wore a white inline perfectly fitting her upper body and on the top she wore an open shirt, with a pair of jeans, shoes and sunglasses...her hair were open, just the way I liked...Her smooth curves were something I just couldn't help but glared at shamelessly...she unknowingly had woken up the Monster in me, I just wanted to hold her hand and drag her close to me...She didn't know what she had done to me...
Cabir- (whispered in my ears) Manik, atleast close your mouth...she is looking at you idiot...
Suddenly I realised what I was doing and saw her looking at me...I tried to look around, but couldn't...We both smiled at each other...
Mukti- so guys let's hit the road...
We were in total 11 people and had 2 Suv's so that it wasn't a trouble to accommodate everyone. I called Nandini to sit in my car..."Nandini come sit..." She looked at me and then Aryan spoke...
Aryan- Hey Manik sorry, she won't sit in your car...
I got pissed off, what the hell is his problem.
Aryan- Bro don't get me wrong, voh actually Nandini is gonna drive my car...She is the one who drives whenever we go for trips...
I was surprised to hear that, she drives... I guess my expressions were noted by her friends...
Kafeel- Well she is fabulous...The safest one to sit with while travelling...
I saw Nandini smiling...Aryan then threw the car key towards her and she caught it...I was a bit concerned as it was a hilly terrain and a long drive...
Sam- Manik I know what you are thinking... (While adjusting the bags in Aryan's car, he then came towards me and stood looking at Nandini who was speaking to Mukti). Well, time for you to know certain facts about her...ONE, she can drive for any number of hours without any stress. TWO, she's a very seasoned driver, any condition can't deter her to take her eyes off from the road (with pride for his friend)...And thirdly (his voice was now deep), but the most important one she finds peace when she drives...So, hope now you are better (we both smiled at each other.)
I was wondering how she found peace while driving...she really was different...And, how could I be with her thoughts when Devika again came and held my hand...
Devika- Let's go baby...
I was baffled with her calling me 'Baby...' again and again...I looked at Nandini and saw her smiling, she tried to stop it and that made me more pissed off...Everyone went to sit in the cars...I wanted to speak to her, but she left towards the other car.
I was about to turn when I saw her stopping and then she turned again and I saw her smiling...She began to walk towards me, I was completely lost in her again... Nandini came close to me and gently placed her right hand on my left shoulder...Her mere touch made a current pass through me...I couldn't believe she was so close to me...
Her fragrance was driving me insane and today the way she looked had already instigated the Monster in me, my desires for her again made their way...Nandini then came close to my ear, I felt her hot breath on my earlobe and I began to lose...I just wanted to hold her in my embrace... I was trying hard to control...She then whispered in my ears in a sensuous voice...
Nandini- I know you'll have fun...I'll miss... you...Baby... (sensuously)
She moved a bit behind and before leaving, she slightly winked at me...I was completely baffled with what she said as I didn't know how to react...I kept staring at her while she went to her car and sat in the driver's seat...I was dammm confused and said to myself "What did she mean by it???"
PRECAP-
The journey began, I just kept thinking and tried to make sense of what she said...
We had already started the journey towards the hills, but then stopped for a break... the weather was great..but it started to drizzle a bit...I went to a spot that was a bit far and sat there...Then, i felt someone came and sat next to me...I turned to look it was Nandini and she passed me the tea...She smiled...After so many days she was sitting with me...I felt at peace...But, i wanted to ask her what she meant...
"Nandini, what did you mean by that???"
Nandini- What??? I don't know what you are talking about...(she tried to avoid the question and rolled her eyes...)
"You very well know what i am talking about..."
