CHAPTER 10

NANDINI'S HITLER MODE :)

It has been rightly said the person who is closest to you and has hurt you, is the one who can heal you...Only Aarav knew what could heal Nandini and help her to be the same 'OLD NANDINI', whose behavioral traits were transferred by BAPPA in Junior Nandini...BAPPA made sure Aarav was not deprived of Nandini's love and care, his reason of existence was now his little Junior Nandu...

After that beautiful night of re-union everyone headed back to Manik's flat...Nandini's heart was finally healed after meeting the Junior Nandini...The baby's touch had magic...

She went to Manik's room and changed...She then got her diary and started to pen down...She had touched her diary after almost 3 years to write something...And then, finally MANIK MALHOTRA, FAB 5, Sanjana and her other friends got their entry in her diary...But, the most special place was obviously for JUNIOR NANDU...the baby who resembled her...

Nandini emailed her office that she would be working from home for next day and after soo many days she had slept well...All this while Manik was quietly observing Nandini while she was writing her diary and then saw the peace on her face while she was sleeping...Manik's heart was content after seeing her..

He switched off the lights and then went to sleep on the couch in the living area and went off to sleep while thinking about Nandini...

MORNING - 8:30 a.m.

A new day, a new beginning for some beautiful relations waiting for all...Nandini got up and went to freshen up...She had to start working from 10:00 a.m. so had plenty of time before that...She went to the kitchen after hearing Shanta Tai's voice...

Nandini- Kaisi hai aap?

Shanta Tai- (she was shocked to see the respect Nandini gave her)...mein thik hun...Memsaab, aapko kuch chahiye tha?

Nandini- ji nai...aaj breakfast mein banati hun, aap bas meri help kar dijiye...aur ha please Memsaab mat boliye...Aap mujhe beta boliye, aap badi hai...

Shanta Tai- (was amazed by her maturity and warmth)...ji beta...

Nandini asked Tai if everyone liked parathas... She then asked her to wake up everyone...

Shanta Tai- (she got tensed) aap mujhe koi bhi kaam de dijiye betaji, inn baccho ko nai uthaungi...

Nandini understood and then asked her to chop coriander and peel the boiled potatoes...Nandini went to the bedroom where Cabir and Dhruv were sleeping and asked them to wake up...

Nandini- guys get up...

Cabri and Dhruv- Nandini yaar please let us sleep ...please...(then sat on the bed, Nandini's terror was enough to make them sit)

Nandini- you have 30 minutes to get freshen up and to reach the dining table...fast... (in a strict tone)

Nandini then went to wake up Mukti and Aliya too and told them to get ready in 30 minutes...Actually, Nandini knew they had a meeting at 12:30 p.m. regarding the music launch for their upcoming movie...Natasha had called up on the landline as none of them picked up their phone's and had informed her.

Nandini then crossed Manik, but didn't wake him...Nandini's threatening tone was enough for FAB 5 to rush and great ready...

Cabir- Dhruv yaar aaj tak I have never been scared of our college Principal, but today Nandini's voice...God, save Manik...

Dhruv- Dude, we have just 10 minutes fast...

They were all running around as they had a deadline of 30 minutes which was about to get over...

Then Cabir and Dhruv came out to the living room to find Manik still sleeping...They saw Nandini was arranging cutlery on the table...She looked at them and then at Manik...

Cabir- Don't worry, we'll wake him up...(being scared of the look Nandini had on her face)...Manik uth ja...

Manik- shut up Cabir...let me sleep...

Till then Aliya and Mukti were out too and joined them in their mission to wake up Manik...

Mukti- Manik uth ja...nai toh tu marega...

Manik finally sat on the couch and rubbing his eyes...

Manik- What's your problem guys...let me sleep...

Dhruv- Manik baba aapki vajah se ek Principlal Sahiba aa gayi hai humari life mein...hummein ek deadline mili hai with a threat to get ready in 30 minutes...So, better go and get ready now...uth idiot...you are already late.

Manik- (damm irritated and pissed off) i am not scared of anyone...aur kaunsi Principal...subah subah you guys are drunk kya...

Cabir then sat next to Manik and spoke in his ears...

Cabir- Manik beta samne dekh Principal Ma'am is standing with a belan in her hand...

Manik then finally saw Nandini standing near the dinning table with a belan in her hand (she unkowningly got it with her) and was having a strict look on her face...she was looking at him with her one eyebrow raised...

Manik's eyes were now wide open, all his smartness went out of the window and was scared of that look on her face...He knew he has to rush else he was dead for sure ...Manik ran to his room to get ready...Everyone giggled as noone had the guts to laugh loud after seeing the look Nandini had...

Nandini then turned to go inside the kitchen and she had a smile on her face because of her victory...😉

Shanta Tai- Betaji, yeh toh chamatkar ho gaya😲...yeh sab itne jaldi ready ho gaye...bahut ziddi hai yeh sab...

Nandini smiled at her and got busy in making parathas and coffee for all...

Shanta Tai- Aur Manik baba (smiling)...voh toh kisi se nai darte...Beta aap hi inn logon ko sudhar sakte ho... (Nandini chuckled..)...Aapko pata hai voh Kavya thi na, (her tone was sad) mujhe bilkul achi nai lagti thi...Manik baba kitna badal gaye thy...par aab mein khush hun aaapke aane ke baad Manik baba phir se pehle vale baba hai aab...Manik baba ko bacpan se janti hun...dil ke bahut saaf hai...

Nandini- Tai time sab kuch thik kar deta hai...chaliye breakfast laga dete hai...

Nandini and Tai laid the breakfast on the table for everyone...

MANIK'S POINT OF VIEW-

I ran to my room and rushed to get my clothes out of the cupboard...I was speaking to myself..." Manik Malhotra you are soo dead today...Nandini toh aaj sach mein Principal banke khadi thi...aur voh belan...God...I need to rush..."...I went to take shower..."Vaise why is she on hitler mode yaar...stop thinking... Manik get ready fast...before she kills you...vaise hi kya kum upset hai tujhse...fast...Manik...fast..."

I quickly dried myself and changed to wearing a pair of jeans and a pale pink shirt...and then ran to sit on the dinning table where everyone was seated and had started to have breakfast...Nandini was serving everyone...I quietly went and sat on the table like a good boy who didn't want to upset his Principal...Everyone chuckled seeing me...

Cabir- (in a low volume) Manik not bad tu 15 minutes mein ready ho gaya...

I glared at him to tell him to be quiet...Nandini got coffee for me too and served me parathas...and with that I had put up the most inncent face possible...Then my phone beeped and i saw a message on our watsapp group...

"Poor Manik..."

I was soo angry and glared at them...I took the first sip of my coffee and then looked at Nandini and she gave me a look which said 'WHAT...FINISH IT..."

Dammm...Aarav had warned me even if she has frogiven me, she won't forget to give me a punishment for my deeds...So, here is my punishment...My coffee had no sugar...in fact it had SALT in it...I said to myself..."GOD, Salt...yeh toh kaise peeyun...Manik beta aur galti kar...bada hero ban raha tha na, aab bhugat...Chup chap medicine samjh ke peeja..."

Nandini was still looking at me with her hands folded near her chest...I took a deep breath and gave her a weak smile...Everyone was looking at me with a surprised expression as to why i was scared...

I looked up at God if I could get some help and then at Nandini, I so wished she changed her idea, but no she was in no mood, infact her look got more intense and I got an indication that I had no escape..."Manik beta peeja aab..." I drank the whole coffee in one go...Everone's eye popped out after seeing why I drank the coffee in one go...They tried to ask me with their eyes and I indicated 'nothing'...

Nandini then loosened her expression and called Shanta Tai...

Nandini- Shanta Tai...aap bhi breakfast kar lijiye...

(Nandini turned and chuckled on her victory again...but I couldn't see it) She went to the kitchen...And everyone was waiting for it...They all jumped on me with questions...

Dhruv- Bhai yeh aaj hitler kyun bani hui hai...kal raat ko toh she was fine...By God yeh vali Nandini se I am damm scared...

Mukti & Aliya (together)- Seriously yaar...(Then Mukti) I have never been so scared by anyone's voice...And Manik voh coffee...kuch tha kya uss mein...

I finally spoke "Guys it was a special coffee you know...coffee with lots of salt..." (I emphaszed on the word 'lots').

Everyone was shocked and spoke together "What..."

I made a puppy face while eating my apple...Nandini then came out...

Nandini- Guys Natasha had called up, you guys didn't take her call so she called on the landline and told me about your music launch meeting...So, looks like you guys are ready to go now...(she looked at everyone)

Aliya- Yes Nandini we are ready to go...thanks a lot...in fact coffee was amazing...kyun Manik...(she said in teasing tone)

I was not prepared for this question and then everyone looked at me ..."Ha, it was good..." Nandini was quiet ...she smiled inside, but didn't let it come on her face...

Nandini- Guys, I would be working from home, I got to start now...So, do you mind if i can get a laptop...mine is at home...

I quickly called Ramesh..."Ramesh, voh get the laptop for Nandini and jo inhe chahiye sab arrange kar do..."

Nandini- Thanks... (She then got a call and left...)

We all were finally feeling relived as our Principal ma'am was busy in her work and wasn't having the strict look she had on her face since morning... Nandini was busy with a client call and we indicated her that we were leaving...She simply nodded...We all left and got into the car to reach office for our meeting...On the way everyone was laughing on my misery and how i was scared of Nandini...

Cabir- Manik, you are so scared of her...Tu usko propose kaise karega...

"Shut up Cabir..." I was pissed off...But, Cabir's words did raise a question in my mind..."Manik, he is right...you are so scared of her...how will you tell her what you feel for her...she'll kill me..." With that thought I ruffled my hair and then ran my fingers on my jaw line...

FAB 5's OFFICE-

We finally reached the office with Natasha informing us that the team from the production house would be there in 15 minutes...Must say she was a very efficient manager and had a great team which worked under her.

"Thanks Natasha...just let us know when they come, and yes ask Jeet to get the file that has our strategy for promotions...we need to review it..."

Well, we were musicians, but I also handled my Dad's one of the companies too our PR company and we were now thinking of launching our own Production House too...FAB 5 was dedicated to only music and work related to it...And, I had to manage both music and business...

The meeting started and must say Cabir had a great sense for how to get a promotion strategy correct for our music and Aliya had a great sense for how to package it...Mukti and Dhruv were very good with post - production work...And, I tried to look at everything from every aspect and contributed in the work of all members with my input if they needed...

We had an unsaid understanding amongst us, we didn't oppose each other in front of others...if we had something to say our eyes would indicate each other and we knew how to handle stuff...

We were all set to work on the release of the music which was in 22 days and that was a very tight deadline...and followed were promotions, press confrences and with it came loads of questions from media about our personal lives...specially for me and their favorite questions were- "WAS I SINGLE?"

"Manik sir whom are you dating? We heard you were dating ...XYZ...girl...and you were spotted with her outside the restaurant... ABC..."

God how much interest they had in my life...I used to always avoid these questions and one of the reasons I refrained from joining social networking sites was this...I didn't like sharing my personal life...But, had to join social media just to trace Nandini else i would have never done it...

I had asked Natasha to tell our Media team to make sure no personal information was ever posted on our social media accounts and never comment back on people asking questions about our life...Only questions regarding our work and music would be entertained...

We were all busy with our work and didn't realise it was 7:30 p.m. and were ready to leave...I asked everyone to come to my flat for dinner...

Dhruv- Kyun Manik Nandini se darr raha hai...(teased me)

I was angry on them "Guys stop it..." But deep in my heart i was actually scared of her...I didn't want to face her alone and was thinking what would be her next punishment for me...I said to myself "Pata nai madam ka next punishment kya hoga..." We all reached home to find Nandini was still busy with her work...

Nandini- Guys, i'll take 20 minutes more...

Mukti- Ya sure...

She finished her work and then got her bag which was packed...I was surprised by it...I said to myself " Yeh kaha jaa rahi hai...dammm...Manik how stupid of you...she is not your wife...obviously she is ready to go to her apartment..."

Nandini- (with smile) I am feeling better now...so wanted to leave for home...(she looked at all of us) Thank you for everything...

We all were happy to see the 'SWEET NANDINI' back...

Aliya- Nandini dinner toh kar lo with us and then we'll drop you...

She agreed...I was a bit upset with her decision of going..."Why does she have to go...can't she stay here with me...forever..." With that thought Cabir side hugged me as he knew what was going in mind...And I gave a weak smile to him...

Cabir- Manik everything will be fine...

We all sat to have dinner and then I told that I would go with Dhruv and drop Nandini...She didn't protest...Nandini was quietly having dinner and i thought to myself " Thank God, looks like my punishment got over..."

NANDINI'S POINT OF VIEW-

I saw the look on Manik's face while he had dinner, he was scared...I chuckled and thought to myself..."Mr.Manik Malhotra abhi toh its the start of your punishment...aage aage dekho hota hai kya..."

I left with Manik and Dhruv who were dropping me home...But, on the way I was thinking of how I could trouble Manik more..."OLD NANDINI did forgive people, but thodi punishment toh banti hai...😆" I chuckled on that thought...

BAPPA was happy seeing his favourite child back to being the OLD NANDINI... but was feeling helpless for his royally spoilt brat MANIK, as even he couldn't help him..Manik didn't knew the sweet girl when decided to give punishments, she had her own ways of doing it ...

BAPPA- "Manik beta, sorry i can't help you...Nandu ke punishments ke samne toh meri bhi nai chalti..."

Okay so coming to your question..Your Manik and Nandini are quite SHAREEF so I'm not expecting any high level ka romance in next few updates lol...They are "we won't do anything shaadi se pehle" kinda couple 😆 so I think their love story will go slow..I guess next updates will be fun as Manik's target might be Nandu's family :P lol
