Nandini went to her bench.She saw beside her but SHE wasn't there.It pricked her heart.Was she the reason?Was she really to be blamed?There were a million questions running in her mind when she noticed Manik sit beside her.
"Manik..this is Navya's place..."She said soft."I know..but the professor asked me to sit here..so that you could help me with my notes...Don't worry..once your friend comes back..I'll shift."He said taking his books out and Nandini just Hmmed.
The professor entered the room and class started."Two households,both alike in dignity,In fair Verona..."The professor started the epic of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare.Nandini kept looking out of the window who was least interested.
"Boring Huh?"Manik asked who noticed her staring out of the window and she hadn't even looked at the book once."I don't like love stories.."She said looking towards him."Really?But Romeo Juliet depict ture love..It isn't bad.."He said with a smile.
"Manik..I don't believe in love stories.."She paused and continued."I don't believe in love..there isn't anything like True love.."She said coldly and Manik just smiled.After what seemed forever for Nandini,The literature class got over and it was time for their break.
Manik packed his back,while Nandini just put her head on the bed,She needed her mind to relax after one hour of Romeo Juliet."Nandini..."Manik called as he stood up.Nandini lifted her head and looked at him."True love exists..and it is probably the purest and wonderful feeling..you will realise the day you meet your prince..and surely remember me.."He winked at her and left the class.
"Does..True love really exist?No..Nandini..what are you thinking...All men are the same.."She thought."Nandu.."Dhruv's voice broke her chain of thoughts.."Come.."He said."Coming.."She said taking her books and all of them headed towards the canteen.
"It's so boring yaa...There is nothing to do..Study study and only study..After this we have one hour math...Huh.."Mukti complained."I know...It's so irritating..."Kristina added."Guys..why not bunk collage tomorrow and chill at Nandini's place?"Abhi suggested and looked at Nandini for permission to which she smiled.
"Ya..great idea...we need a break..Manik..join us ok.."Dhruv said."No..guys..I need to complete Not.."He was cut off by Joe."Manik..anyway you have to take down the notes from Nandini...so you come to her place ..and you complete it while we Chill.."Joe suggested."Ya..That's great.."Dhruv approved and Manik agreed.
"Ok..guys tomorrow..9..we will meet near collage and then off to Nandini's house.."Mukti said excitedly,to which everyone agreed and prepared themselves for another hour or so for some more torture.
