I remember when Parth quit and all I said was that, hey he left, I am still not over the fact that they killed Manik maybe and this guy has moved on and the show is still going on. I wanted to be harsh and I could see everyone around me so frustrated and taking it out by ridiculing or laughing or many different ways. The conclusion I reached was that its fine, he left. So? Wasn't I the one who always said that the actors personal lives and what they do off screen, their professional choices are their business and only theirs. So I didn't have any right to go after him just because he made the next step in his professional life.If I feel like I am done with what I am doing and I want to move on and do something esle, take the next step then its my choice and no one had the right to tell me what I should do or shouldnt.
So I said that OK, I will always wish him good luck because he gave me my favorite character and was loyal till he lasted with the character. So best of luck to him for his next step, his next project.
The fact that I love Manik but I am not connected to parth had meant that I am not a true fan, not reallly devoted to MaNan.Because I wasn't angry enough at the actor?Because I wasn't crying my eyes out and abusing him because he quit? Since when did loving your favorite character and loving MaNan became synonim to being invested just the same in the actors' s life?

MS- I get that. Thats the point being angry is natural and instinctive . People will take it out , if their resistance is weak. But , like twinkle said we know Parth and Niti as Manik and Nandini. I have no personal connect with them nor do I know how they deal with their lives. None of us can acertain for that. But I have seen the reaction of members here and their behaviour about this whole bashing and how they have treated both Parth and Niti . Terming someone suhagaan or pujraan because of their affection for a particular actor ( here , I would say even I have been guilty of using the term when my resistance fell apart).
There is "backoffIndia" trending WW , please check it- Nepal is going through constitutional changes and they are objecting to India's stand. Millions of tweets- most are sensible and other are downright disgusting- that is trending/twitter for you. Should I slam their issues/movement because of the tone - Nope, because I understand that I cannot control and the cause is above the few idiots out there. SO how is it different from whatever they are trending for Parth/Niti/MaNan.

Genie, you know we all have been there and done that.We have ridiculed and made fun of everyone from Charlie to Parth,Abhishek, Ayaz and Kris - not just on twitter but here, on the AT.Pages and pages of it.
But I have given credit where its due, never have I ever said that Parth is not who he is as an actor by his own, that he owes me or someone else for his talent.Even today I know that Manik is because of Parth and if it wasn't for him, I would have never gotten so attached to the character.
I still don't see how a trend for MaNan has to include digs at Niti for being unappricative, for being famous because of Parth, that her character is nothing, can't exist without him, that Charlie is just an attention seeker, that the new dude is insecure that is why he only retweets positive stuff.I know I can't to anything about the daily doze of mocking and insults. But I am unable to digest that it all has also become a part of a trend that is representing the whole fandom on social media and I probably won't be able to digest it ever.I tweeted and retweeted stuff because I believed in the cause, because I don't want Ky2 to go on without MaNan but it has been ruined for me for the last two weeks and I can't help it.

MS- Come here. 🤗
Stay away, trends don't represent you , or what you feel.If some morons misuse it , then so be it , your intentions and your trends reflect what you feel, bas.

Give it a rest, SNS is vile , disgusting and thats inevitable.

One senence to those who are saying niti/nandini is nothing without manik/parth-
"Don't forget it was Nandini who brought out the real manik in front of us"
And it is Niti who as Nandini gave the forever best drunk scene in the history of indian television and first introduced the idea of "hamesha" wala love

@genie that 'v' included ME at some points and some other part of d fandom...and I din mention in my post newhere tht parth ws NOT mocked...he was mocked by every1 present over here...even those who are trending to get HIM back...even Niti both of them timely had their share of mocking and name calling...I din deny that...!!!
Now let's be fair...as for this trend...as soon as d boy announced on twitter bot HIS exit ppl bashed HIM so much...kold him out for ruining MaNan n wat not...but few hours later wen some insult story came out ppl decided to trend to get HIM back..tht time all ppl wanted ws an apology from mtv head to parth..d trend in d first place started initially over THIS very motive..and then wen gradually new stories came out it turned into MaNan HEA...now if HE ever comes back then how ppl are expecting HIM to work wth d very SAME channel n creative they hv been sending hate tweets since weeks...provided many stopped watching d show after epi 245 coz HE alone also cudnt save d show during last 3 weeks even wth Niti and given if Richa cms back bt barring FEW tweets I never saw much ppl mentioning her...I know n I hv maintained that NO1 cn be a better Manik than Parth...but bot parth their are still things ppl are yet to ACCEPT !!!

As u mentioned this is Twitter world...ppl will use d trend for multiple motives be it BOTH d fandoms..or d channel..or d ACTORS...V cnt keep an eye on every1 n control every1...V cn just keep forward our opinion..V cnt even stop them and I NEVER stopped them...

Ppl won't stop until they get wat they want so be it...!!! I feel their pain MaNan...one of d reasons of me not watching s2..
So best of luck to them...!!!

There are people who gets bashed everyday and the people who care about them take a stand for them!! All fans of xyz person cannot take care of bashing against every damn person in the world just because they are against bashing of this particular person.

For me hypocrisy is when ppl support a person for one thing and bashes the other for the same thing!! For me hypocrisy is when ppl claim to love two ppl equally yet decide to take a stand for single person and bash the other. For me hypocrisy is when ppl spew the shit at one for standing up for herself and feel proud the other for doing same. For me hypocrisy is when ppl bash Charlie for something and Support Niti for something similar.. Not when They take a stand for Niti because they care about her and do not about bother others(Neither support nor bash).

I will cry when something bad happens to my family members, and it wont hurt me as much when same thing happens to some random people. Doesn't mean I'm being a hypocrite or insensitive.

I claim to love Manik, Nandini and Cabeer.. So I defend Manik ,Nandini and Cabeer only when I feel that they are being wronged. But not for Dhruv!! I claim to love Niti so I take a stand for her. I do not have time for every other person in the world.. That doesn't mean m against the basing of one and support the bashing of others.

I see people changing the meaning of HYPOCRISY as per their convenience🥱

Exactly! It's your love for Niti that makes you take a stand for her. So no point moral policing. If it is about protesting against cyber Bullying then you must stand for everyone. Else it is hypocritical😊 Also, ppl who live in glasshouses shouldn't throw stones at others.
You would have given a damn about KY2S2, cast, makers, channel had it been without Niti.
Think about it.

Btw I never saw you defending Manik, Cabir🤔 Neither have I seen you discussing MaNan outside AT whom you claim to dearly love. But only when there's a post related to Nandini/Niti.

So the people who're raising the point about fans not making posts when actors like CC and Krissann get bashed- ask yourself if fans can really feel like doing that when the "bashed" person in question bait the fans and then play victim?

And this post is coming NOW, and still people think that it's because "Niti is a delicate doll who can't defend herself"- really?

How about no one making posts when she got bashed repeatedly for things like

1. Staying back for S2.

2. Referring to Parth as "someone".

3. Taking a selfie with Yuvraj.

4. Looking happy in an interview with Yuvraj. Killing "PaNi pheelz".

5. Wishing Parth all the best for his career.

6. Being misquoted in some article.

7. Quoting a line from "Katti Batti"...

*Sigh*

Perceptions it is. I'm so bored of this topic honestly!

Niti is a public figure. There will be roses as well as brickbats coming her way(I'm sure you know it). Everybody out there can form an opinion about her. And you cannot stop that. Some express it in a civilized manner, some don't and others don't bother to voice out. As for my comment - that has got little to do with the main topic, more to do with the general attitude of fanatics, where they start seeing the world as Black and White and forget that there can be other colours too. For eg- When fans asked other fans to boycott the KY2S2, I'm pretty sure Niti was the last thing in most of their minds. The first thing was that the channel and makers deserve a lesson for giving a damn about their consumers or the emotions of the fans. But ppl took offense and linked it to disrespecting Niti's hard work and efforts(let's not talk about other cast, and crew coz all of us know how much we care for them).

As far as my memory goes, this forum was filled with topics criticizing Parth's decision, bashing him, even then ppl had problem how he was taking all the focus and attention away from S2 and the cast that stayed back.

Also there have been ample posts, from time to time supporting Niti, discussing the issues of SNS in this forum, before this post as well.

I'm not a huge fan of either Parth or Niti. But I've defended them as well in the past when no one spoke for them. I appreciate them for their work. And have a soft corner for both of them as individuals simply because they played my favourite MaNan with utmost sincerity.
I'm no one to have a say in the decisions they make in their personal or professional life. Yes I may not like certain things they do. I might admire one a little more or much more than the other and I might have fun trolling them but never too personal. I don't deem myself perfectly flawless to judge them on the extremes of good and bad.

Sorry if I went off topic.

I am truly amazed reading the generic arguments in this forum right now.

Everyone trying to act philosophical about the way the trenders have behaved when everyone knows who the lead trenders are most closely associated with in this very forum and which AT😆

I read some ppl claiming they are objective about both Parth and Niti...LOL really? Remind me again who has quit or attempted to quit this show MULTIPLE times? I believe it's ONE of the two above, not both...to classify the criticism of that in the same category as the criticism that Niti faces is ridiculous to say the least.

What has emerged in the aftermath of this obsessive trending phase is that Parth ko 100 khoon maaf...no ifs or buts on that point...the guy can kick a 100 puppies tomorrow and ppl will find a way to twist that into 'unfair bashing/criticism' of Parth and a conspiracy by the puppies to have come into his path to make him look bad...not to forget on the side, simultaneously on the side, somehow beyond reason Niti will be connected to it and probably be accused of not supporting Parth in kicking the puppies, and somehow that would also mean she is lying about her age😆...this is a sum of the "learned" discussion that currently goes in this forum and yet some ppl behave as if they are above all this.

I'm truly amazed how conveniently ppl have cloaked the basic facts here in long winded supposedly philosophical discussions...Basic fact being that a guy just left this show for the bazillionth time and for the bazillionth time, ppl trended obsessively to bring him back...that basic fact and the ridiculous circus of it all is something NO ONE wants to point out...all they still sit here for is to just watch the same so called PaNi waale MaNan regardless of story/sense/reason😆
