PART-31 HER SMILE...!!
Hello everyone...!! I am back with the next part...!! But u all have disappointed me with ur response on the last two chapters...!! SO IF THIS TIME ALSO THE RESPONSE REMAINS THE SAME... I WILL STOP WRITING...!!

At nandini's place 1.30 pm...!!
Manik entered with a gift wrapped in beautiful starry wrapping paper...!! And then looked around but didn't found anyone in there...!! But then nandini's caretaker came from the kitchen...!! And he came to know all of them left for somewhere... one hour back...!!
Manik then tried calling them but none of them picked up the phone...!! So he asked the care taker about nandini...!! To which she said that nandini is sleeping in her room...!!
Then the caretaker left and bought water for manik as he was sitting on the couch with his head on the headrest of the sofa looking up...!! Then she also sid that she has some work so she needs to go...!! Manik protested saying what if nandini requires anything...( as he knew if he will give anything to her then she will not take...) but the caretaker said that the work is urgent so she needs to go...!! And then she left instructing manik that her food is in the kitchen and her medicines are on the side table of her room...!!
Then manik again tried calling all of them but... none of them responded instead he received their msg in the group...
Cabir: radio show chal raha hai can't talk now...!! One of the RJ didn't came isilye I had to leave...!!
Aliya: meeting chal rai hai...!! Busy right now...!!
Mukti: NGO mai kuch problem ho gayi hai isilye me and abhi are here... will try to come back ASAP...!!
Dhruv: Sorry buddy...!! I am leaving for India... right now... as mom is not well...!! Will talk to u once I reach there...!!
Navya: party venue pe kuch problem ho gayi toh Hume jaana pada...!! Par hum ne aunty ko bula liya tha...!!
After reading everyone's replies he replied...
Manik: aunty left as she had some work... try to come soon everyone...!! And buddy u take care of aunty... and do call me once u reach...!!

Already one hour has passed...!! manik was just sitting in the hall looking around then he saw instruments in one corner... as all of them didn't took their instruments back to Angel's villa...!! So he picked up dhruv's guitar...!! And started playing it...!! He got lost in his and nandini's memories how happy they were...!!
How he used to tease her...!! And she used to make cute faces...!! How her smile would make him also smile...!! And every other small thing of hers...!
...
Meanwhile nandini's room-
Nandini was awake since half an hour...!! She was just looking at the sealing and thinking how His mere appearence in her life has changed it all over again...!! Where once she was not ready to go back to her old self... and now she is ready...!!
She just got up from her bed and looked around her room... and then went in front of the mirror... which was half broken from the top... which she herself broke...!! She could see her face...!! She was staring at herself when she heard the guitar tune...!! She knew who it was...!! So she just moved towards the door of her room... to hear the tune clearly...!! She was hearing him playing after a long time...!!

She was lost in his music... she unknowingly started moving out of her room...!! And reached the stairs... and was moving down looking at him playing... he was sitting sideways...!! He was lost in his memories... he didn't see her coming...!! But then he felt her presence...!! Which he felt after a long time...!! As all this while though she was with him but... still he couldn't feel that old nandini connection with her...!! But today he could feel that..!! So he just looked to the stairs to confirm himself that she is there...!! And yes she was standing there looking at him...!! And he looking her...!!
He stopped playing...!! And kept the guitar on the couch and moved towards her... all this while they were just looking at each other...!! Without blinking...!! They shared an eyelock...!! He was still moving towards her... and she was on her last second step... and then as she stepped forward she was about to fall but... then manik held her... by her waist...!! And she kept her hand on his shoulder...!! Both were again lost in each other... they were talking with their eyes...!! As words were never required for them to talk...!!
After good 10 mins... manik broke the eyelock...!! And make her stand straight...!! There was an awkward silence between them... and again manik broke it by saying...
Manik: vo... everyone is out for work...!! Isilye I am here...!! But if u have problem then I will leave... once u have ur food and medicines...!! ( he said genuinely caring about her wish... of not wanting to see him around her...)
( nandini on the other hand thought that he is here just because no one's around...!! As Still her mind is full of negativity...!! She had stopped taking things positively...!! So she also replied sternly...)
Nandini : No need...!! I have survived these two years without u... so I can survive the rest of my life also...!! No need to show ur sympathy...!!
( Manik felt hurt... when she took his love as sympathy... but still tried to explain her calmly...)
Manik : nandini... I am not showing any sympathy... it's just that I care for u...!!
( nandini just left towards backyard ignoring him... as she was feeling thirsty...!! )
Backyard-
As she reached..there she realised that she herself had threw all the alcohol...!! She out of her habit... left for backyard... as normally to quench her thirst she always had alcohol...!!
Manik also reached there...!! And forwarded his hand in front of her...!! She saw a glass of water in his hand...!! And then she looked at him...!! Tears again formed in her eyes...!! Realising... that she is still addicted to alcohol... but manik just gestured her to drink water ...!! She was looking at him... and doing nothing... so he only forwarded his hand...and he made her drink water... and nandini also surprisingly... drank it... while making her drink water manik with his other hand wiped the fresh tears which fell from her eyes... !!
After making her drink water he wiped her mouth with his thumb...!! And nandini looked at him feeling his touch on her lips...!! He also looked at her...!! His thumb was still on her lips...!! Tears again came from nandini's eyes...!! And this time manik in the flow of the moment moved his face closer to hers... closed his eyes and sucked tears from her cheeks...!! Nandini also closed her eyes...!! Manik moved his face a little back only to find her eyes closed... and he then eyed her lips...!! He moved his lips closer to hers... there lips were just an inch away...

...
But just then his phone beeped... which brought both of them back to reality... and then opening their eyes they moved away...!!
Nandini left from there... and went inside... manik just calmed himself... and was feeling guilty for what he was going to do...!! He then took out phone from his pocket and saw msg from navya reminding him about nandini's medicines... and saying that she will get late...!!
In the hall...
Nandini saw a gift on the table...!! She picked it up...!! As she picked it up... manik entered... and saw her looking at it...!! And then said...
Manik: vo... vo... aa... vo... haan... vo cabir and navya bought this for u...!! U have a look... I will bring ur food... then u have to take medicines as well...!!
( saying so manik moved in the kitchen to get her food... he lied because he knew... that she will not take it...!! And he really wanted to start her new beginning with this...)
Nandini was trying to open it but was not able to do because of the sling in her hand... though now her hand was not paining... and tomorrow it will taken off...
Manik returned back with her food... and saw her struggling with the gift so he kept the food on the table and then forwarded his hand... saying MAY I...?? but nandini just ignored and tried opening it...!! But was not able to do it...!! Manik was standing there... with the hope that she will call him by his name and ask for help...!!

Nandini after trying a lot but was still not able to open it ... so she just kept it back on the table...in front of manik... and manik... saw this though his hopes of hearing his name from her mouth shattered but still was happy that though silently... but still she asked for his help...!! And then manik said...
Manik: first have ur food... then I will open it...!! ( saying so manik forwarded a spoon to her mouth...)
Nandini: I didn't asked u... to open it... and I can eat by myself...!!
Manik: yaa... right I saw tht... how properly u can move ur hand... so just have this...!! Please...!! Tomorrow when ur hand will be free...!! U can eat by urself...!!
( Manik made her eat and then he kept the plate aside...!! And then moved towards her room and brought her medicines... and made her have them...)
Then he openned the gift for her...!! And then gave it to her...!! It was a red box...!! She openned it... then kept staring at it...

At Angel's villa 4.30 pm-
All of them were sitting there... except for dhruv...!! they have been there since they left nandini's place...!!
Navya: Cabir... tumhe taken hai naa ki tumhara plan kaam karega...?? Agar baat aur bigad gayi toh...?? Ek baar nandini ko thoda theek hone dete hai naa...!!
Cabir: tum chinta mat karo manik nandini ka bohot achhe se dhyan rakh raha hoga...!!
Navya: Hume pata hai ki manik uska theek se khyal rakh raha hoga...!! Hum dhruv ko Mumbai bhejne ki baat kar rae hai...!!
(Everyone became happy seeing that now navya has full trust on manik regarding nandini...!!)
Cabir: Navya... kuch galat nai hoga...!! Manik bhi yahi karna chahta hai... bhale hi usne bola nai...!! Par mai jaanta hu...ke vo isi idea ki baat kar raha tha...!! Aur dhruv waha sab handle kar lega...!! Aur hum usse touch mai rahenge...!!
Abhi: haan... don't worry...!! Even uncle ( manik's dad ) is in India only... I will inform him to not to discuss anything with manik...!!
Mukti: this time we won't let Nyonika or anyone come between manik and nandini...!!
Aliya: I just hope everything goes fine...!!
Cabir: all will be fine...!! And if not... then WE'LL MAKE IT FINE...!!
In the plane-
Dhruv boarded his flight to India...!!
Dhruv in his mind...
Buddy...!! U have done a lot for all of us...!! U always proved ur friendship... now it's our turn... I have always hurt u... but u always supported me...!! This time every bad has to go through us... before reaching u...!! I promise... I will return back with ur happiness...!! Nandini's happiness...!!

Nandini finally after a long staring session... took the gift out from the box...!!
Tears again made their way down...!! But this time manik didn't wiped them...!! As there was something different in these tears... and the difference was... HER SMILE...!! yes... she was smiling between her tears...!!
