CHAPTER 10 :

NANDINI' POV:

He held my hand. "Darro mat! I'm sure she'll be happy to see you!"

"Manik i left everybody 4 years back. Vo meri shakal bhi nahi dekhengi. " I told him as we were standing outside My home.

I don't even know if I still have the liberty of calling it mine.
I ditched my people. I was in touch with rishabh over texts. He told me that he really misses me. I promised him that I'll meet him whenever I'm back to Mumbai. Here I was fulfilling my promise. I knew he would be elated to see me. But chachi? Chachaji? I know they were angry at me.
But mai kya karti? I would have lost myself completely had I continued staying in Mumbai. I hate to accept it, But i was weak. I never told Manik this aswell. I knew he would feel guilty.
Chacha chachi also cried everyday because of me. They couldn't see me like that. It was hurting me even more.

"Nanduuu. Tum thiek ho na?" Manik got me out of my trance.
I realised a lone tear had gathered at the corner of my eyes. He wiped it with a smile and I smiled in return.

I took in a deep breath. And ringed the bell.
His grip on my hand tightened, made me feel more confident.

"Rishhuuu!! Bas kar ab tu. Kitna yeh computer pe khelta rahega. "

Chachi yelled from the kitchen.

"Chal..ab jaldi se neeche ajja. Dinner laga diya hai maine. " she again shouted so that he could hear her.

" Aiiyooo..Shanno ji..ajj toh bahaut kaam tha office mein. Bahaut thak gaya. Ek acchi se chai milegi kya? "
Chachaji asked her while settling himself on the dinner table.

Rishabh also was about to sit when the bell rang.

"Beta dekho please kaun aya hai. " chachaji told rishabh

He lazily went towards the door and opened it.

What he saw next came as a surprise cum shock to him! He wasn't expecting Nandini and moreover MANIK with her.

Nandini smiled and had happy tears in her eyes.

Rishabh just flung in her arms. The brother sister duo shared a really tight hug with the widest smile and innocent teary eyes.

He then hugged Manik.

"Kaunn hai Rishuu?" Chachi asked while she was approaching the door.

She was stunned to see Nandini and Manik.

"Chachiii" nandini said in an owerwhelmed tone.

She ran towards her and hugged her. Tears started flowing through her eyes.

Chachi broke the hug, cupped her cheeks and asked "kaisi hai meri bachi?"

Chachi wiped her tears while She responded "Mai thiek ho chachi. Aap kaise ho?"

"Han thiek toh hogi hi..mera shona munda jo hai tere sath!" Suddenly their attention was shifted to Manik who was just watching them with a smile.

"Kaise ho Manik?" Chachi asked in a serious tone!

"Nanndu?!?!" Chachiji's voice interupted their talk.

Nandini hugged him and they both had a content smile on their face.

"Aiiyo..Manik...tum?" Chachiji froze in his place on seeing him standing in front of him.

"Namaste chachiji..Namaste chachi!" He greeted them.

Rishabh gestured them to move inside.

They all sat and began talking. Slowly Manik told the entire story to them..the unfortunate reasons that kept him away from her.

They all supported him and were glad that he is safe and is back.

"Mera shona munda jab tak meri beti ke sath hai tab tak sab sahi hoga!" Chachi exclaimed to end the topic.

"Chachi..bhook laggi hai..khana?" Manik asked to lighten up the mood.

"Arre han han...waise toh boring khanna hai..ab tu aa gaya hai na..mai tere liye koi acchi se special dish banakar latti hun..ruk tu abhi!" Saying this she rushed to the kitchen.

Rest 4 laughed as she left.

"I'm so glad nothing has changed!" Nandini thought and smiled.

Next day; Afternoon:

"Navya,thanks for organising this get together man! I really needed it!" Mukti said while sipping in some coke.

"Han me too!" Druv added.

"Guys, I'm soo sorry I'm late. Vo ajj final finishing touch dena tha to the designs...so took time. I'm sooo sorry!" Alya said running inside and entering.

"Chill baby. Relax. Have a seat na!" Druv being the lovey dovey boyfriend he is, advised.

The door bell rang.

Navya took a deep breath as she knew it was time.
Time that Manik and fab3 finally face each other.

Navya opened the door and found MaNan standing there.

Navya gestured that fab3 are inside. Nandini held Manik's hand for assurance that she is there with him.

He took heavy steps towards the room.

"Guys!" He uttered and fab 3 stood up shocked.

"Maaanik!" Mukti wispered

"Buddy tu..tu yaahan?" Druv was taken aback.

Alya came forward and stood in front of him.

"Manik..you're alive. Omg. You..you..!" She was out of words aswell.

I'm am so so so sorry for two things. Firstly, for the delay. And secondly, this update. I know it's not up to the mark.
Idk, i don't feel connected to it :$
One reason for such a crappy update is my college. :| I'm sooo over exhausted. I just updated because I know it's been a while. Sorry. :(

Promise would make it up in the next update.
