NANDINI MOORTHY...d gal who believed in fireflies...who believed fireflies glow for TRUE LOVE...who saved an unknown person in college...who made a New friend in college and stood by her by all possible means...who was against bullying and ne form of expression of forceful power...who stood strong for HER appa's pen...who even after gtng all tortured in d name of a SPOT girl kept her calm and went ahead with it...knowing d consequences for HER FAMILY...who teamed up with a "supposed" monster for HER brother...who almost getting abducted by d goons and gtng kicked out from d college tried to mend d friendship of two people...who tried to luk through d monster within and tried to protect HIM from HIS fear of darkness...who tried to bind two groups TOGETHER via MUSIC...who despite of knowing d truth behind d goons cald d monster out for his own ANGER and EGO for HIS friends...who stood up infront of d "supposed" monster each time he went out of control...who shared HER secret to HER rival just d night before d competition coz she was so scared NOT of losing but of NOT performing...who wanted to give away HER victory coz she felt someone else was much more deserving than HER and not as a token of thanks for saving HER brother...who always wanted to concentrate on HER own performance rather than spying on others wch made her sch a bad lier...who gave HER MONSTER a reassuring HUG Back without knowing d actual reason of his frustration...who asks HER MONSTER to stay wth HER so that she can always SHINE for HIM...who prays for HER FAMILY every night before she goes to sleep and knowingly prayed for HER MONSTER also...who feels following traditions is not uncool and gifts HIM HIS favorite STARS...who makes HER MONSTER understand that TRUE LOVE never is restricted to age or nethin similar and calms d blazing Monster down...who PROMISES to keep HIM in her prayers and she will TRUST HIM HUMESHA...who breaks down into pieces,cudnt contain HER tears,cudnt believe HIS words wen HER OWN MONSTER turns into a REAL MONSTER for HER...who still can't see HER MONSTER turning into a MURDERER and decides to help HIM out on this with HIM pushing HER away every moment...who is so much hurt and broken after knowing that she was sacrificed but is still concerned for HER MONSTER...who though decides to leave HIM thinking that they r TOXIC TOGETHER but can't stop herself from going towards HIM, trying to stay close to HIM,following HIM all d way just to protect HIM, kidnapping HIM to keep HIM with HER and sharing HER insecurities with HIM...who ALWAYS knowingly unknowingly manages to show HIM d right path...who again tries to go away from HIM for HIM and HIS Friends...who though falters but NEVER gave up on HIM...who HOPES of getting HIM back again, gaining his trust again portraying immense patience to play along...who believed that as individuals both of them are IMPERFECT but wen they r TOGETHER they r PERFECT...who even after being kidnapped fought for HER right...who wanted to overcome HER fears alone NOT disturbing HIM nemore...who finally became STRONG ENOUGH TO ACCEPT THAT HE IS D GUY FOR HER...who fought from d world in HIS absence waiting for HIM to wake up...who wanted to willingly take THEIR RELATIONSHIP one step further coz of THE BOND they shared uptill NOW...

Your post brought out the purity n innocence of Manan n nandini ...awww I just loved the way u expressed nandini ...brought all the memories n journey of Manan ...

Neither The Nandini they are showing is realistic nor a % of manik's Nandini. The madness of love is gone. Apart from his Nandini , she is not even herself which she used to be.. no connection. This can't be a sequel of season 1.

I'm sorry if we have our distinct reasons for watching this show. I watch it for the elemental beauty that came along with sacred promises associated with the fireflies and the stars, and clearly you watched it for the satisfaction of everyday entertaining drama. Fictional stories even without the ideas of hamesha aren't realistic my friend. This story made it that far because of the touch of fairytale it carried in its heart. Otherwise this show lacked consistency from Day 1. The hameshas, element of hope, fireflies and stars you are so hellbound to term as unrealistic and superficial, they weaved it to become a unique story. Otherwise this should would be no different to the many hate and love dramas that start every year and shut down because of the lack of viewership. And as we talk on the topic of realism here, punching a total random for throwing your father's last memory down the building so it breaks isn't really "real" in my opinion either. It's all part of the characterisation and underlying elements that came with the two characters.

Nothing in relation to offscreen was mentioned here. I see no point for you mentioning it either. Half the people you wouldn't know here so I see no reason for you to judge them either. That's just morally wrong. Try and understand the whole post and get a hold of the gist of the entire situation before you react.

After reading this, I'm so happy with my decision of not watching season2. They already f**ked up with season1's ending and now f**king up with the characters is just a brilliant idea.

This show proved that Indian shows can be different and one can definitely enjoy it. But well who the hell wants to be unique.

It hurts so much with the way the show has taken turn. Learned a lesson from this, never invest so emotionally for any show.
