its not about parth or manik which contains the whole show. Everyone on the set has been working on the show. I agree the character which we love alot is been made up by the directors or script writers which made up such a big fan following of manik. So instead of bashing them we wont watch the show and all because parth is not being part of the show its wrong we should see what they got for us in season 2 if you like it watch it or don't its completely your choice watch it or not...
IF THEY WANT THEY WILL MAKE ANOTHER MANIK AND WE WILL COMPLETELY LOVE IT AGAIN ITS JUST THE CHARACTER ON WHICH WE HAVE GIVEN OUR HEARTS SO CHILL WE SHOULD NEITHER PRESSURIZE PARTH FOR IT IF HE WANTS TO LEAVE ITS COMPLETELY HIS CHOICE AS ITS HIS LOSS THAT HE IS LEAVING THE YOUTH SHOW WHICH IS LOVED BY SO MANY PEOPLE . AND WE SHOULD CONSIDER OTHER CAST WHO ARE WILLING TO CONTINUE THE SHOW. SO LET IT GOOO DON'T BE ANGRY WE BE COOL WITH IT. 😊

Very difficult to imagine a new love in nandini's life after all the stars and fireflies theory :o
but still if i think about a replacement for parth the only person i can imagine is karan wahi!! he is a fabulous actor, height wise close to parth's height and can create chemistry with anyone!

Hi Geetaaz, thanks for making this post , much needed. Fans and Script make the actor, and not in the reverse. Given a good script, a new Manik( face is new, not the character..) can definitely lead up the chemistry with Niti.
Agreed that transition is hard, from Parth/Manik to another Manik. But its also true that the show had been under threats of Parth quitting from March. Since then the production and cast would be mentally prepared for a scenario like this. Even if the production house accepted PArth's demands and he stuck on, he still would leave anytime because the actor several times had made it clear this is not his genre..that he wants to move to bigger and better things. In which case, its stily to hold on to him.

There is a saying in Telugu -" Oode Pannu..."...which means a loose tooth...one that neither is firm nor breaks off and lets go...is the one that causes most pain.

Just cut it out in one shot and let it go...the rest of the cast, crew, script and fans will get used to the new story. It should never be the case that show is treated like a one man army.Thats too much power in one persons hands ...never a good thing. Nothing against PArth, he is a great actor and nothing wrong in his not wanting to do this show. Thats his choice. But that does not mean that a) any and all of his conditions should be met by production house anytime he demands b) that the other main lead of the show and other cast should be sidelined.

My support to Niti and rest of the cast who are going to make KY2 work . Esp if Niti and previous creatives like Richa and Watwani are part of the crew, im going to watch it. Those people that produced the great script and scenes can do so again, maybe with different actor.

I would say give season 2 a chance with or without Parth. Anyway if it does not turn out well, the remote is there!

I have no grudge against Parth...the guy had wanted to leave since March but stayed on...im mad at the channel and makers.
They very well knew everything then why an earth did they waste a month on Aryaman crap and not just give us a happy ending for MaNan.
I understand that every member has put in a lot of hard work but truth is the truth...Manik is the most important part of KY2.without him there is no fab 5 nor MaNan and this show is all about fab 5 friendship and love which is MaNan.
Manik is the one that kept fab 5 together along with Cabir so now both r not there according to so called sources and articles.
I love Niti i really do but this is also a fact that i fell in love with MaNan 1st...If Niti does another show i will deffo watch it to support her but watching KY2 without Manan will only upset me.

Everybody had a part to play in this whole fiasco...if I were to choose though...the production house and creatives are to be mostly blamed.

Parth had wanted to leave since a very long time because he wanted to explore bigger and better things in life. Now there's nothing wrong in that. However, him wanting to depart when things were shaping up beautifully between Nandini and Manik was selfish! However, he decided to stay on...which was great!

All this jazz happened in March and the production house must have made him sign a contract to extend his stay. This extension I bet was till August end. I say this because Parth in his interview with Raj Badhan had said that he would visit London end of August. March to August...creatives should have come up with a beautiful ending to the whole story. Instead they decided to butcher it!

The third leg of the chaos...us...trying to persuade the production house and channel to come up with season 2 with the same cast. I understand we are in love with manan...but guys this is just a fictional show. It isn't necessary to devote our lives to it. But...even if fans demanded whatever they did...channel and production house could have stuck to ending the show with Parth in it if they were not sure how the public would receive it without him!

If however...they believed in their story telling and were audacious enough...they would think...okay...we will come up with season 2 (coz the fans like our story)...without Parth...given that Parth was either unsure about his presence in season 2 or he put down too many conditions to be part of it. At the end of the day decisions about shows are made by channels and production houses not the actors.

And this is what I think, the story will actually have better scope in season 2 with Parth gone! At least we will get to witness Nandini's journey of coping with such a loss and finding someone else. If told properly...this could be a heart warming story. Also, the reason why I liked Parth as Manik is mostly because he is really good looking and his chemistry with Niti was fabulous. So I don't think there is a dearth of good looking guys in India who would make a fantastic pair with Niti. And even if he is there...trust me a few months down the line...the drama about him leaving will be back! And this to some extent takes the fun out of watching the show.

So, none of the off screen drama with Parth should have affected the storyline if the production house and creatives were clear about their vision for the show!

I very much your thouhgts. I have loved the show as whole and thanks to the creativity and actor's efforts I loved Manan and their journey. I am not going to blame anyone as what exactly goes behind the camera no one really knows the actual situation so I will leave the blame game but yes it's for going to be hard to see things differently but I will definitely watch the show and hope it keeps me glued.

There isn't still any clear cut news of the entire cast being a part or not so tonight we will find out something for sure.

@Puba. Agree with you. Channel and PH are more to be blamed than the actor.

Another show I watched, IPKKND closed down because the lead wanted to quit. Initially the makers were planning to kill off his character and bring in a new character for the female lead. They had even shot his ending but then fans clamoured for a happy ending with the original cast and the show was wound up within a week with what the fans demanded. Here they seem to have decided to prolong the show as per fan demand but the ML is most likely not coming back. So maybe we'll get to see what was originally planned in IPKKND but was not executed - FL falling for someone else after mourning the loss of her love.

Since I got hooked to this show because of Pani as Manan, I guess its time to bid goodbye so as to preserve my memory of Manan.

But then again, there is a saying 'Never say never.' If the story is captivating enough (which I really doubt with this new creative head), I may give it a chance after reading the updates.
