Chapter 1: Two angels in their lives
Zidan and Aarushi- the two tiny creatures whose entry made the purest bond strongest. They became the reason of their smiles, their fights, their childishness, their secretive romance, and what not. These tiny angels proved that they were so much in love literally so much.
MaNan- A pure bond who taught us friendship... Selflessness... Love... Sacrifice... Intensity... Purity... And who gave us Zidan and Aarushi...
Zidan and Aarushi born on 18th December... Their small steps brought life to their lives, Manik and Nandini felt blessed to have them in their life because it is because of them they are finally one and they feel complete now.
"You feel life is complete when you see yourself safe in his arms but what actually make you both complete is... A little life cuddling and sleeping calmly... Knowing that he/she is at the safest place... that is in the arms of a mother and a father and now you both are COMPLETE"
Zidan and Aarushi not only lighten MaNan's world but their entry made everyone more close to each other. Manik, Nandini, Dhruv, Alya, Cabir, Navya, Mukti, Abhimanyu are now known as a big family. Zidan and Aarushi connected them together and now they all are inseparable...
Zidan and Aarushi- one was born at 12.40 am and another one was born at 12.45 am... Oh yes they are twins. Just like MaNan always wanted... Confused! Uff...
"Manik have decided we will have a baby boy ekdum tumhare jaise, aisehi aankhe... same lips... perfect nose" said Nandini and she was interrupted by Manik saying, "bhul jao... We will have a cute little baby girl... Tumhari jaise puffy aanke, cute se cheeks and your innocence". "Manik ek baar bol diya na is ghar main prince aayega toh bass" said Nandini and moved opposite to Manik and folded her hands across her chest to which Manik replied with same gesture "maine bhi bol diya na ke princess aayegi tumhare jaise toh bass and waise bhi depend mere pe karta hai so I know better biology nahi padhi". "Manik waise" started Nandini to which Manik interrupted and asked "Nandini waise, Kya tum bhi wahin soch rahi ho?" "Manik let us write it down on a paper and see whether our thoughts match or not" suggested Nandini to which Manik happily agreed. On the paper- I WISH WE HAVE TWINS-A GIRL AND A BOY. Both have written the same thing and were surprised to know they both wanted twins since forever and they hugged and their hug was interrupted by doctor who confirmed their doubts after her sonography reports saying, "congratulations you will have twins".
And this was the memory where they got to know that they were going to be parents and that too of two small babies... The phase of pregnancy was the best phase for Nandini she was treated like an angel...
"Manik mujhe paani puri khani hai Abhi" cribbed Nandini like a college teen in her 8 months of pregnancy. "Nandini tum paagal toh nahi hogayi, it's 2 am main kaha se lau tumhare liye paani puri and waise bhi it's not safe and agar tumhe khani hi hai I will get it for you tomorrow... please baby Abhi sojao please" pleaded Manik. "Manik craving Abhi hui hai toh Abhi khaungi na... I don't know kahi se bhi lao and yeh mat bhula meri iss halat ke zimmedar tum ho samjhe go now" said Nandini in her pata nai konse wale mood swing but seeing no option left Manik was going out to get paani puri when he turned back and answered, "by the way, taali ek haath se nahi bachti waise hi I am the only one responsible for your condition as you enjoyed that moments cause your loud high notes proved it Mrs. Malhotra." Said Manik and winked at her leaving a red Nandini...
Hilarious naa... I mean ssly paani puri and that too at 2am? Kaise mood swings haina... Acha you wanna know aakhir hua kya... hahah guys don't underestimate The Manik Malhotra... he brought whole paani puri stall at home and invited everyone and asked everyone to taste before he gave it to Nandini and an extra test check was he himself tasting and then serving to her... Isn't it cute? How I wish I cud live this moments... coming back...

"Champ you promised mumma to give her back her doll fir q nahi diya", asked a protective father to his son. "tuti(qki) aalu ne bhi Zidan ki caal nahi di... papa she has the caal... deto ustte hath main hi hain.. papa utte bolo na mude caal dede" said Zidan in a teary voice which melted Manik. And now it was very difficult for Manik to handle cause one side it was champ and other side his princess. "princess very bad... apne champ uski car q nahi di... aap bade ho na and yeh toh galat bat hai" explained Manik in the most sweetest tone.
"chollie papa but plincess thot Zidan unko doll wapas nahi kalega so plincess ne caal nahi di" said Aarushi and now Manik went all confused as in what to do and Nandini came to her rescue and knelt in front of Aaru, "Aaru papa ki princess apko pata hai na Zidan kabhi bhi uski promise nahi todta toh fir chalo be a good girl usko car dedo" "otay mumma" said Aaru and they exchanged their things and she smiled he smiled problem solved.

Nandini was making dinner in the kitchen when she heard kids back home with their papa and suddenly two tiny little arms got hold of her legs and she immediately picked him up. "aagaya mera beta how was your day?" asked Nandini to Zidan after rubbing her nose to him and bringing him out of kitchen heading to Aaru and Manik and he replied, "Zidan aull aalu ne hide and seek khela... sliding ki.. aull..." and Nandini asked him aur.. and she hugged Manik and Manik pecked her lips and Zidan continued, "aull icetreaml khayi" as soon as he declared the last thing Manik and Aarushi face palmed themselves and Aaru said, "ale buddhu papa ne bola tha na mumma ko nahi batana to q bataya" "mumma ne bola tha kuch bhi nahi chupana so" answered Zidan most innocently. Manik bowed his head in guilt while Nandini was amazed at zidan's answer.
"acha let's us all have a warm bath tum log garden main khel kea aye na chalo let's go" announced Nandini and both of them went running to their washrooms.. "sambhal ke bacho go slowly", said Nandini and was gathering their dirty shoes when Manik held her from behind rested his chin on her shoulders and said, "I am sorry jaana... please bache zid kar rahe the so ice-cream sorry na really sorry", said Manik in an apologetic tone to which Nandini replied, "Manik ice-cream is not the reason but the reason is you said them to hide it. Manik you yourself don't like hiding na toh fir aisa q... they are growing and they grasp whatever taught so.." Manik felt bad because he knew that Nandini was right at that point. He knelt in front of her and accepted his mistake to which Nandini kissed his forehead and said, "chale bache wait kar rahe hai... and main tumse gussa nahi hun".
They went to the washrooms and started the bathing session but being Manik's kid Zidan and Aarushi started splashing water on Manik and Nandini. They were protesting but their kids dint listen to them and finally they all played in water and came out after an hour when finally Nandini realized it was dinner time.
"mumma aaj aapne tya banaya hai" asked Aarushi to which Nandini replied, "today is Zidan and aarushi's favorite pizza" this bought 1000 volts smile on their kids face but frown on Manik's face and he immediately questioned, "Nandini isn't this unhygienic all the time pizza and all?" "alle papa but we toh like it na" said Zidan supporting her mother and then Nandini replied, "Manik chill,the base is our Roti... the stuffing's is fresh veggies steamed and cooked and this sauces are made by me at home if something is from market then it's your kids favorite cheese and this chocolate spread don't worry its healthy".
Manik was stunned at his place because Nandini maintained both their hygiene and she made sure they eat without any nakhras...
"Manik Aaru ko mujhe do aaj main princess ko feed karungi okay na?" asked Nandini to Aaru who was sitting in his dad's lap and suddenly she jumped in her mom's lap and excitedly clapped her hands and said, "yayy aaj mumma mudhe khilayegi yaayy" "chalo champ toh aaj main apko khila ta hun chalo chalo" said Manik to Zidan and they had dinner and then they played a while and when their kids started rubbing their eyes and clinging to their parents they understood it's bed time and hence they took them to their room which was attached to MaNan's bedroom.
"mumma song sunao na warni neni nahi aati aapto pata hai na" said Zidan and Aarushi and Manik sat with them. Zidan climbed on Manik's chest and Aarushi kept her head on Nandini's lap and she started singing...
Suraj tera gardish mein hai
Dhalte huaa keh gaya
Phir laut ke aaunga main
Nazdeek hi hai subah
Nandini was patting Aaru's head and Manik was caressing Zidan who was clinging to him...
Gaaye jaa, gaaye jaa
Gham mein hai sargam
Gunguna ye dhun, gaaye jaa..
Gaaye ja, gaaye ja
Raat ke dhaagon se savera bun, gaaye ja..

Nandini swiftly moved Aaru's head and kept on bed and took Zidan from Manik's chest and kept him beside Manik who also slept making Zidan sleep only to make Nandini realized he was so tired that he drifted to sleep and she covered three of them in their blankets..
Ho.. aankhon mein rakhna sapne tu kal ke
Tujhko lekin un tak jana hoga khud chal ke
Majhdhaaron se tu, haar nahin jaana
Saahil tujhko paana hoga lehron mein dhalke
Hai zindagi wohi jo chalti hai
Yeh girke hi sambhalti hai
She then kissed Zidan and Aarushi on their forehead and pecked Manik's lips and went to the bedroom.
She was lying on the bed as she cannot sleep without being cuddled by Manik and soon she sensed two arms around her waist.
"tumhe jab nind nahi aati to mujhe utha nahi sakti thi Nandini" asked Manik clinging to her and she replied turning to him and hugging him saying "because tum bohat chain se so rahe the Manik tum thak gaye the so"...
Phew... first chapter completed... I hope it is up to your marks...
This is so difficult for me to write as it is somewhat very real... aur kya batau...
Acha chalo zyada bakwas nahi karni read the chapter and tell me whether I should continue or not...
