Manik sat outside nandini's room waiting for the nurse to finish her task so that he can be back with his angel.. "oh angel is great?' he thought but again paused "should i call her angel or princess?" Manik's heart debated and his egoistic brain was searching for place to hide cause the monster had become a romeo and there's no going back now.. "i'll call her both.." manik decided and sat there reminiscing the night in the hotel in bangalore which changed his life .. a sweet smile crept on his face as he remembered the evening in mall when he ran behind her with her scarf... and he finally burst into laughter remembering how she was naively trying to flat the tyres of his merc... There was a sense of pride in manik's eyes when he remembered how she threw the mop water on him as she was the first person to bring the manik malhotra down to earth..

as manik sat travelling down the memory lane the nurse walked out and chachi also came in at the same time and was finding it hard to hold back her laugh as manik's image clad in nandini's tee flashed in front of her eyes.. manik realized this and started blushing hard.. unable to find any suitable excuse he ran to hospital cafeteria to grab a bite as he had been hungry for a long long time... chachi smiled and walked in and was taken aback by what she saw.. "oh toh manik yeh lekar aaya tha tere room se?" she said.. "mere room se?" nandini almost shouted in shock..."what was he doing in my room?" chachi remembered her encounter with manik and first laughed heartily holding her stomach.. after a hearty laugh for good 10 mins she narrated the entire how she found manik sleeping in her mickey tee and sleeping on her bed peacefully...

nandini couldn't believe what she heard and she could not stop herself from laughing out loud.. suddenly she stopped in between and said "oh no! my favourite tee.. now what will i do with that tee?" she asked to herself but saying it loud enough for even chachi to hear it.. "gift him to him only na.." chachi suggested and nandini rolled her eyes.. "but my night suit is gone.. i loved that mickey night suit found it with great difficulty.."

as nandini sat pouting and mourning the death her favourite tee when it adorned manik's body he walked in with a bag and a smile.. he extended the packet to nandini who gave him a questioning look.. she was about to open her mouth to say something when manik stopped her saying "uff nandini.. thak nahi jaati itne sawaal pooch kar.. open this packet chup chaap.." he ordered her.. and as soon as she opened it her excitement knew no boundaries.. it was the same mickey night suit.. "but this was?" she finally asked him to which he smiled and said sitting next her.. "sorry for ruining it but i am keeping that as your first gift to me.." yes manik malhotra self gifted her tee to himself and continued "and this a new one which i asked my designer to make for you.." nandini was left surprised to the lengths he can go to make her smile again now...

Nandini looked at the night suit and then she looked at manik who was looking at her without blinking and a smile played on his lips.. There was something about Manik's smile that always attracted nandini towards him; she always thought he has a smile that of a kid cute and innocent.. as they stood lost in each other's eyes the world took a brief pause to let the lovers have their moment in the middle of the chaos and troubles that life has thrown them into... but their cute moment was interrupted when the nurse walked in with food and chachi followed...

since nandini was not allowed to eat anything solid she was served lentil soup with lettuce and other veggies added in it.. by the looks of it it was nowhere near to be called as a soup.. it looked like a disgusting thing and that was visible from the changing expressions on nandini's face... "ewww.. i'm not eating this.." she announced but the nurse who looked very strict also announced "you have to eat and take meds there is no other way out dear.." she looked at chachi and said "make her finish this and then i will come and give meds to her.." and chachi nodded in a yes..

soon manik settled himself on couch and started checking on mobile as took on the herculean task of feeding nandini who was acting as a 5 year old now.. manik was sitting engrossed in a chat with fab5 to discuss about their upcoming competition and london plans but his attention was broken by nandini and chachi's non stop fight.. he looked up to find his mature princess/angel behaving like him... nandini was adamant on not having the soup and finally after trying everything chachi gave and walked out huffing and puffing so it was left upto manik to manaofy this kid and make her eat and that was something Mr Malhotra never did but he still decided to give it a try..

"32 muscles and 8 muscles.." manik said "haan.." nandini asked.. 'haan kya haan.. remember you only said once that it takes 32 muscles to frown and just 8 to smile.." manik said reminding her that she once asked him why he doesn't smile and she gave this brilliant nandini logic to him..."so my princess use your 8 muscles smile and finish this soup.." manik continued..

"i will do anything but i won't eat this soup.." nandini said pouting and cribbing.. hearing this manik smirked "oh so you can do anything haan.." she looked at him and said "yes anything.." manik's smirk grew bigger "anything.." Nandini made a face and said "yes anything.." "soch lo.." manik said.. "what i will do anything.." nandini said in a challenging tone.. "ok fine so let's kiss.." manik said acting cool.. "whattt.." nandini said in a shocked tone.. "are you only said na you will do anything but eat this and i so wanted to kiss you since i realized my love for you so lets do it" and he started closing the gap between them.. while manik kept moving closer looking at her seductively; nandini's eyes widened in shock.. soon there were only few centimetres apart when nandini pushed him and took the soup bowl in her hand and drank it all in one go.. "well that was easy.." manik said laughing.. "my job is done.." he said looking at a baffled nandini who realized she had been tricked by him..

as manik got up and was moving towards couch nandini held his arm.. "why did you do that manik?" she asked him and he had no answer.. he looked down in shame and sat next to her.. "you kknow I was very young when my parents died but i had rishabh to take care off who was a kid and amms too who was in shock of loosing two babies of hers'.." nandini said looking right into his eyes as he sat listening to her with utmost attention..."could never cry manik i always had to be strong for them..but i was tired to be strong all the time for once i wanted to be normal 17 year old girl who breaks down easily and then there are two strong arms which will hold her and say its ok to be weak cause i am there for you.. then i met you and we came close and i thought maybe i found my home where i can be weak and vulnerable but still strong too..but you took that away from me manik.. you took my home from me.. was it very easy for you to hurt me like that..was it all for revenge?"
