Nandini came down with blanket and pillows, she looked at Manik who looked like a cute baby sleeping.. There were few frowns near his brow; Nandini smiled and slowly started caressing his forehead.. Her touch worked its magic even in his deepest sleep Manik could feel the comfort he has been craving for, a faint smile appeared on his lips and his smile brought smile on Nandini's lips too... "We had it all Manik.. We had it all..Why you have to do it...why you have to do it.." Nandini started to walk back uttering these words with tears in her eyes..

As soon as Nandini walked in and closed the door Manik's woke up and again found himself wrapped in the same blanket.. He smelled and said "Nandini.." He wrapped the blanket more cozily and sadi "You say its not your business, you call me Mr Malhotra but you still care for me..Why Nandini even after all this why do you still care for me..Why?" Manik looked up at the room and drove off...

They say love is the perfume which lingers in our life for the lifetime once it touches us.. No matter how hard Manik said he hated Nandini or Nandini said she can't forgive Manik the truth was they both were craving for each other's arms.. Manik missed her smell and Nandini missed the shivers he sent down her spine with his touch... Manik would clutch the blanket as if it held his dear life & smell it to feel Nandini and her smell and Nandini would close her arms and eyes and travel back in time where Manik's touch would still give her goosebumps... And that's how they spent their nights away from each other but in each other's embrace...

It was 7.30 am in the morning when Nandini as usual served tea to DJ and Abhi shared some jokes with them and then headed to Manik's room.. "All the best Jenny Romeo waise bhi jal kar khak ho rah hai aajkal.." Abhi winked at Nandini while she showed some fake anger to him... She went to see Manik sleeping on the bed as if it was the world and he was the king of the world... Nandini "Uff yeh larka!" She frowned and poured water on him.. Manik started shouting "nandini stop it stop it." He sat all baffled.. It was the funniest sight for Nandini early in the morning with Manik Malhotra sitting on his king sized bed wearing his black vest and tracks all wet and baffled...

Nandini was laughing hysterically seeing Manik like this... After a few moments Manik got a grip of himself and looked at Nandini who was looking beautiful with her beautiful smile making the entire morning more beautiful.. Manik kept looking at Nandini for a while and then he got up and started moving towards her.. Nandini who was laughing till now got serious.. Manik kept moving towards Nandini while she kept moving backwards...

Nandini was scred as what Manik will do. She knew his anger was bad.. Manik was looking at her seriously and kept moving towards her.. Finally Nandini hit the wall.. "Mrrr..." The words were stuck in her throat while Manik locked her down with both his arms.. "Mr Ma" Manik put a finger on her lips to shut her down.. "Manik..Its Manik..Nandini.." He whispered in a husky voice as he looked into her eyes.. It was as if Nandini again went in the spell cast by Manik.. He moved his hair and few drops water fell on Nandini.. Nandini looked at him angrily...Manik smirked.. "How?" Nandini again tried to speak when Manik again sussshed her...

He kept his fingers on her lips and started rubbing it..Nandini closed her eyes.. Manik kept rubbing her lips and slowly started to follow the water droplets scattered on her face and neck..His hands moved to her cheeks and neck while Nandini finched her fists.. Manik's other hand slowly held her fist and opened it and entangled his hands into hers.. He moved closer to her, so close that he could smell her breath and hear her heart beat.. His heart beat too increased..Nandini opened her other fist and clutched Manik's shoulder..

Manik came close to her and kissed a drop of water and whispered "Nandini..Why do you ignore me.." as he started to nuzzle her aggressively... But Nandini opened her eyes as soon as she listened to his voice and realized what was about to happen... She pushed Manik away and ran away... Manik stood there baffled as he didn't knew how to react.. He didn't knew what got into him...

After that the entire time Manik and Nandini kept stealing glances at each other and both of them were silent.. DJ was confused as to what has happened.. Soon they all reached college while Manik was still very silent.. As soon as Manik reached college he found nandini waiting at usual place waiting for DJ he kept looking at her and she too was looking at her.. Their eyelock was broken when Alya came and hugged Manik.. Manik was distracted for few moments and when he again looked up he found Nandini was gone...
