Yes. This track is not about Nandini hiding things from Manik and putting him at risk. This is for Manik to know about Nyo's manipulations and also for Nyonika to realize that her plan of getting Manik arrested just to separate Nandini has actually put Manik into danger. She, for her own selfish reasons, has put her son's life into danger. If not for her, Soha's accident would just have been an accident and Khurana would not have staged her death.

Instead of this, Nandini is made the scape goat with the audience not being able to connect with her or the track.

Fully agree with both these posts. What should have been a loop closure for Soha fiasco has become a fiasco involving her brother. Considering that the Watwanis were the ones who gave us the Soha track, I was expecting them to know how to close the loop but the way they have gone about the track so far leaves much to be wanted.

When Manik was in the hospital and Nandu came to know of Aryaman's identity and intention, she rushed to Manik to tell him the truth after locking Arya in the studio. It is only after Arya promised to wait till she got a chance to prove Manik's innocence that she decided to keep the truth from Manik because (1) Manik was still weak ; (2) even after he recovered, she wasn't sure how he will react in terms of his famous gussa and (3) she genuinely thought that Arya was a decent guy who has been misled and he would come around once he knows the truth. Her reason for hiding under these circumstances were perfectly fine. She did keep a close watch on Arya and made it clear Manik was her priority and she will do anything for his safety. Also fine. Her plan to prove his innocence at the construction site could have also worked (although it seemed too convoluted and dangerous) if Arya had not double crossed her.

Coming to the tricky part of Nandu trying to protect Arya even after what he did by trying to prevent Manik from looking for evidence against Arya. I would like to believe (for my own peace of mind) that it was because Nandu knew Mank was extremely angry at the time, especially since he thought she was in danger from Arya, if he had found any proof against him he would have rushed to him to have an ugly showdown. She just wanted time for him to cool off and then alert him but before that she wanted to ascertain from Arya whether he had deliberately wanted to sabotage their plan and make Manik the target. Now that she knows Arya's true face, she should be shown not wasting anymore time and rush to Manik to tell him the whole truth after first making sure he will listen to her without getting hyper. I also want her to profusely apologise for hiding the truth so far thinking that she can tackle it on her own. Manik could be annoyed with her at first and they can have a little rutna-mananna before he shares what he knows from Mukti. From here on they need to tackle Harshad-Arya together as a force.

Nandu does not know the existence of the tape which shows the unbalanced Soha. So together these two needs to try finding ways to get to the bottom of this Soha saga.

At the risk of being the odd one out can I just say that I liked the episode.

The story finally progressed. Nandini finally realised that Arya was never going to keep his side of the bargain.

For all those saying Nandini saw what extent Arya can go to hurting Manik and she still defended Arya. She wasn't defending him, she wanted to confront him before Manik got to him. Even before Meeting Arya she agreed to stop singing with him to Manik.

For all those saying Nandini's stupid plan is making Manik doubt Mukti he's just asking a question he knows the accident wasn't Mukti he just wants to know what Mukti is hiding. And we all know never to judge a precap.

Yes Nandini had a stupid plan but she had her heart in the right place. She judged Arya wrongly. Not everyone turns out like Manik Malhotra. But now that she has understood that she was wrong to judge Arya give the girl some time to go to Manik.

We've seen worse so in my opinion this wasn't half as bad.

And the most important the story progressed.
