Aaand it's playing in a constant loop. Right from the monday scene when she insists they just talk for the night to the very last scene where they actually indulge in an open conversation of their love. It all just seems too precious to be all true. I love the various methods of their conversations. Silence, the whispers of their touch, exchanging voices of the soul through their gazes...just so much substance.
I don't know what it was about the scene when she becomes emotional and she starts tearing up after he assures her that he will wait for the time she speaks of her secrets to him because he trusts her. To be able to hear those words of trust, it's almost like he's expressing his love in a way. Because their trust defines the love they both share for each other. There's a part of her which starts walking down the memory lane of all the times he's been shattered because he felt she didn't trust him enough. But to hear it from her man herself today just made her feel so content, so happy, so complete.Every time he says it to her, it leaves her a little dazed, a little awed, a little love-struck. She knows she's loved because he trusts her...despite the fact that at one point in their relationship he was aching because he thought she didn't trust him enough. But to reflect back on how far they've come now, she's just all so overwhelmed in emotions.
The fact that he never urges her to stop crying straight away or whinges about her tearing up is something I quite admire about him. He knows her so well to know that when she cries, she's in a way emoting and voicing the words of her heart. It's the way she expresses herself through her silent sobs...whether she's disturbed or she's just left so touched by his love like in this scene, her tears assist her in expressing those emotions, those feelings that perhaps can never be expressed through words. And so he lets her shed those tears...just soaking all the love those drenched eyes carry for him. That sort of understanding...so pure, so grounded, so rare.
They both respect this act of expressing so profoundly. It's so similar to how she allows him to express himself through his anger, frustration and rage at times. Never will she try to leash it forcefully or control it...those instances only occur when she fears he may hurt himself. But she's always allowed him to speak those words of rage when he's felt beyond devastated or angered by a certain situation. She embraces his anger because that's his way of expressing his care, his worry, his need of her during unpredictable times. She lets him slash out at her so he can express the loudness of his love which gets vocalised through his roars. It's just such a matured and growth-driven relationship...so strangely enchanting yet all so real and connectable. And I just love them for that.
