KY2 is not just about MaNan. It is the Story of NavNi, the two girls from middle class families who joins SPACE, and the connections they make with the members of FAB5. And FAB5 includes Mukti as well. She is an important character of the Show. She is the main reason for Manik Harshad hatred. She is why Harshad wants to break the FAB5. Harshad hates Manik because his own sister and girlfriend sided with Manik. This is why he was trying to break Alya and Manik from the beginning. Harshad genuinely loved and still loves Mukti. His relationship with Nyonika probably was a passing fancy or maybe a misunderstanding Manik had. His getting intimate with Navya was a mistake committed in a weak moment. He never loved her. Harshad locking up MaNan in the store room was to break Manik's relationship with Alya. Now that Manik has found his love in Nandini, Harshad wants to break them apart and inflict the same pain he went though. Though Mukti broke up with Harshad, he has not stopped trying to get close to her. His feelings for her are genuine. So it is important to give them screen space. And anyways, it is not good for any show to be solely depend on the main leads. Look BOF, the show from where KY2 is adapted from, every character has their own story lines and any character being absent on an episode or more does not make any difference. But that is not the case of MaNan. If you look from the critics point of view... This is a huge mistake! Nothing more to say on this!🥱
