Don't you think that it makes sense that when manik asks nandini if she trusts him, they play this song, that is so quintessentially them, because

manik is not, can never be GREY with nandini; he is too much in love with her, and he respects her too much.

She won't be a sounding board for his unresolved conflicts, i guess.

i hope.

but, the song made sense to me because despite what those fools say, it's not about just one thing for him: my point is, he loves her too much, and he wants their experiences to be as special for her as they are for him, and he always ensures she's okay with it all. ALL of it.

and for that, i respect him SO So much.

in short, i understand this song, and it fits completely: this song is completely manan.

i don't understand the problem :/
