I too hated Nandini being called 'Behenji'.
But in the context of the show, wasn't it Nyonika's ploy?

Of course it was Nyonika's ploy but is she so dumb to see Nandu is not a behenji? 😆 From a practical POV it looks dumb coz Nandini has never ever been a behenji. Had she dressed like Navya (I am not saying Navya or anyone should be called that) it would have made some sense. But Nandu was wearing a sleeveless short top on denim. Thats defo not a behenji look. All I am trying to say is they should bring in dumb tracks to promote new shows or even portray heroine as a damsel in distress who needs her knight in shining armor to rescue her.

Yep it was her plan but didn't it look lame? Had she taunted Nandu for being middle class since that's how she looks at the rest of the world, it would suit the story. But calling Nandu a behenji when she is not looked lame, even for Nyonika Malhotra 😆

Seriously only to prompt their other show they created the same mess in Ky2 like seriously earlier in all those bakwass saas bhahu dramas and so called youth show they used to show that bhenji drama and our ky2 was different and now only to prompt that other show they screwed all this drama kuch bhi...nandini bhenji please the girls which were present their as audience wearing outdated clothes were looking more like one..

I too wear modern clothes but at this time I want to wear kurtis like nandini..as they look simple yet elegant and she wears all sleeveless and backless one's which make her look different..but still sab haath dhoke ky2 ke peeche padhe hai using thier popularity!!

As per Nyo's standards may be😆 anybody who doesn't come close to her "class" but basically it was only to insult Nandini😕 I took it that way. Nandini has never been called a behenji in college otherwise. Once Mukti, Aliya said during a pool scene "lagta hai inhe behenji complex hua hai, pool party mein aise kapde pehenke aaye hain jaise kapde dhone aaye hon"

MTV has been using this show for all their lame promotions, I have stopped caring.

I think firstly it was for promotion of that show.

Secondly it was shown that it was coz Nyonika asked them to-it wasn't their own opinion.

Also many fans on social sites have themselves labelled Nandini as behenji. Not everyone can think like us and this forum specifically. SO I think it was CVs way of answering them.

I just had one major problem-she is the girl who could openly talk about sex for her friends, she was a part of #ItsNotUsItsYou campaign and she stood for the right thing and voiced her opinions and time and again Nandini has stood up for everyone and also herself so why not this time. the scene hasn't played out yet but I really hope Nandini herself also says something...just the whole thing shouldn't be Manik's.

Im all for this track if nandini is finally going to get new shoes and clothes. besides many fans does feel like nandini dresses like a behenji. seeing too many comments on niti's instagram asking her to get fashionable clothes.
but this embarrassing her infront of everyone is not something i look forward to just to label manik as the hero

This is an unfortunate thing of our society that some people judge other people by their outer look. Navni from noangle look behenji. Sometimes I wonder what is this word behenji? Behen, a word which describes a beautiful relationship. But here this word is treated like a taunt. Makers really did a mistake. It was not necessary to show Nandini as behenji for sake of a promotional event. From beginning it was Nyonika's attempt to humiliate Nandini. That disgusting lady can do it. Still I am not supporting this humiliation thing, where instead of Nandini, Manik will speak on her behalf.
