CHAPTER 25

the party was a blissful one for manik and nandini. everyone present there appreciated and praised their love for eachother. there was none who didnt bless the couple and didnt say "Such a lovable jodi". No doubt for manik it was the most memorable and sweetest birthday in his life after his 18th birthday when his dad handed him the business responsibilities as well as he signed his first music album.

after a long tiring enjoyable party , everybody went to their respective rooms as none of them had any energy left to chitchat with eachother. nandini was standing infront of the mirror and taking off her jeweleries. manik entered the room and saw his loving wife struggling with the hook of the necklace which was stuck with her hair. he throwed his jacket on the couch and moved to help her. feelings his hands against her body always made her shiver.. she looked at him through the mirror and gave him a blushing smile. he took off the necklace and hugged her from back putting his chin on her shoulder.

n=for what??

m=for this amazing birthday.I cant tell you how lucky i was feeling myself when u were singing infront of everybody for me

n=tumhe accha laga yehi mere lie bohot ha manik

he turned her around and kissed her forehead

n=pata ha manik, sabne party bohot enjoy ki, sabne decorations ki, food ki kitni tareef ki... even everyone was praising u too and..

nandini snaked her hands around his neck

n=mujhe meri tareef sirf mere husband ke mu se sunna accha lagta ha and wahi mere lie sabse zyada important ha.

she said in a romantic tone and pulled her close to him rubbing his nose against her.

m=tum fresh hojaw, i'll do the packing for tomorrow

n=are par main karlungi subhah...

m=nahi.. i'll do it. u go and change first..

nandini smiled and was about to leave when manik holded her hand and pulled her back closer to himself

m=wase washroom janeki kya zarurat ha... u can change here

nandini's eyes become bigger and she started to blush.

m=u no... i can help u change. and its not something new and difficult for me..

n=manik tum pagal ho...

she pushed him on the bed and ran inside the washroom. manik smiled and took out the suitcase for packing their stuff. he opened nandini's cupboard and was looking at her dresses, what to take and what to not. nandini came out of the washroom and saw him packing her jeans, kurtis..

n=manik yeh kya karraheho??

m=packing..

he said with a casual smile

n=ha par... manik tum sare western clothes kyu rakh raheho,i also wear salwar suits

m=nandini... waha london me tum saree aur salwar kameez kyu pehnogi???

n=manik but..accha nahi lagta... its been only one month of our marrige

m=jaan, it doesnt matter to me that what u wear or not cause i know what actually you are...so relax and trust me mujhe tum in casual kurti's and jeans me zyada acchi lagti ho...

n=oww..that means u dont like when i wear sarees and anarkali's

she said with a cute fake sad pout.. manik pecked her pout making her smile

m=meri doll jo bhi pehenti ha i love it..cause its u who increase the beauty of the dress not that the attire makes u more beautiful

she blushed hearing his complement and ruffled his hair

n=ur so cute...accha ab tum jaw fresh hojaw i'll do the rest of the packing

m=no need, i'll do it

n=manik...hussshh !! tumne meri packing ki now its my turn to do yours, now goo...

she handed him his night black vest and track pants and pushed him inside the washroom, while she did his part of packing... altogether she packed two suitcases. manik came out and saw her all ready with the packing and sitting on the bed looking at her medicines. he switched off the main lights and left the dim lights on . he crawled up on the bed and clicked fingers infront of her

m=kya soch rahiho???

n=yeh medicines dekh rahithi..kya farak parta ha agar inhe main na luu toa??

manik knew what she meant.. her face went down in a moment. manik took the medicines from her palm and throwed them. nandini looked at him with a confused look

m=you're right, u dont need these medicines cause my jaan is not sick , usse kuch nahi hua ha. and mane tumse kaha tha nah, we dont know anyone else.. we are there for eachother right???

she nodded and hugged him tightly. manik knew at the end of the day she was all broken and hurt. it would need time to heal her up.from the stage she was passing through wasnt that much easy to handle ...he patted her back slowly to give her the comfort she needed at that time.. feeling his touch she made her grip more tight. both remained quiet for sometime. after sometime manik felt her grip becoming loose.

m=jaan...

there was no response which meant she was asleep.. manik carefully made her lie down and put the blanket over her.. he lied beside her on his elbow and looked at her. manik saw her lips were shaking and she was murmuring something in her sleep.. he came closer to her and heard her say " manik..i love u" a smile crept around his face .. he gently planted a kiss on her temple and kissed her hand holding it. watching his love of life sleeping beside him was a blissful sight to watch for manik and slowly he also drifted into sleep.

the next morning

it was a rare scenery for nandini to watch. she opened her eyes and saw her love hugging her close and for a change his head was on her chest, her hand around his neck. for a moment nandini herself blushed seeing him. he looked like a cute baby who was hugging his mother so tightly and in an adorable way. she caressed his messy hair disturbing his sleep.. he slightly opened his eyes and saw her looking at him

m=subhah hogayi kya??

nandini smiled how sweetly he was asking. she kissed his forehead

n=yes its morning...

m=aj tum pehle jag gayi?? not fair.

n=yes.. and today i got the chance to see a cute baby cuddling so sweetly..

manik smiled and rested his head on his elbow and looked at her .. nandini too turned towards him and caressed his cheek. manik put his hand over hers and kissed it..

m=tumhe pata ha

n=kya??

m=main apni sari zindagi ese tumhe dekte dekte beeta sakta hu...

nandini blushed hearing his words. suddenly manik forwarded his hand to touch the corner of her eyes

m=dont move...close ur eyes

nandini closed her eyes.. it was one of her eye lashes which was about to fall but manik caught it. he sat up on the bed and also asked nandini to sit

he placed it carefully on her palm and asked her to wish for something and blow it closing her eyes..nandini smiled seeing how he used to believe all this but for him she agreed to do it. after a moment nandini opened her eyes and saw manik smiling and waiting for her to say what she had wished for.. but for her surprise he didnt ask her

n=puchoge nahi ke mane kya wish kiya??

m=nahi .. cause agar bol dogi toa shayed wish puri nahi hogi

n=meri sabse bari wish to mere samne ha, mere pass humesha keliye. i couldnt ask anything more than u asking u manik. without even asking ayippa sent u in my life. its more than enough for me. So I didn't ask anything more rather than ke har janam me mujhe tumhari hi nandini banake tumhare pass veje..

it was always seen that maniks words made nandini emotional and she used to shed tears of happiness. but right now hearing these words from her manik couldnt help but became emotional. he pulled her in a bear hug and nandini hugged him back. she felt her bare shoulders wet which meant he was crying. she tried to break the hug and check on him but he wont break the hug

n=manik..are u okay?? tum ro raheho??

he broke the hug and kissed her forehead.

n=kya hua tum ese??

m=ssshh..kuch nahi um fine. its just ke i love u so much

n=accha ab yeh sab choro.. tum fresh hojaw and tabtak main packing ek bar phir check karleti hu... we have a flight to catch if u remember.

manik nodded and went to the washroom while nandini checked on the arrangements for the last time ..

bidding bye to their family members they drove off to the airport. Being the Malhotra's all their immigration and check in were done through V.I.P services. nandini was feeling so much proud of manik seeing his popularity and the image he had created in front of people. the manik infront of the world was different from hers manik. he was serious, full of attitude, angry young man. he needed everything to be perfect. they boarded the plane sitting in the front side of the business class. nandini rested her head on his shoulder

m=tum theek ho??

n=ya um fine..manik why arent cabir and others coming with us??

m=woh ... they are boarding tomorrows flight. actually cabir is stuck with some work and so he cant board today

she lightly slapped his cheeks and kissed on his cheeks. the plane started to move and nandini clutched his arm closing her eyes. manik smiled seeing her scared. he whispered in her ear

m=dar lagraha ha???

she nodded in a yes closing her eyes even more tightly and clutching his hand more tightly. manik kissed her cheeks and started to nuzzle in her hair.. nandini shivered feeling his touch and blushed.

n=manik stop it kya karraheho??

m=are kya karraha hu?? um loving my wife, isme kaunsi problem ha?

n=hum plane me ha.. tum bhi nah yaha par kitne sare log ha.and plane abhi take off karega

m=correction it has already taken off

nandini turned around and looked through the window..they were moving through the white big clouds.. the sight was a treat to watch...she felt to catch the clouds..

n=manik... did u see?? the clouds..its so beautiful...the sky is so clear

while she was continuously talking about random things what manik was observing his angel..her big eyes becoming smaller and again bigger, her smile and excitement... after sometime when nandini didnt find any response from manik she turned to him and found him sleeping .. she smiled and caressed his cheek. A waitress came and was about to ask manik something but nandini stopped her and gestured that not to wake him up and let him sleep. nandini too rested her head on his shoulder and drifted into sleep covering themselves with a blanket.

when nandini opened her eyes she saw manik was awake but still in the same position so that she doesnt feel disturbance in her sleep. he was working on his tablet.. seeing her awake he kissed her forehead. nandini straightened herself rubbing her eyes

n=aur kitni der ha???

m=20 minutes and we'll be there

n=seriously manik..pure flight time main soti rahi?? aur tumne mujhe jagaya nahi??

m=main kyu jagata?? mera cute sa baby doll soraha tha and i kept on admiring her

m=nahi..i watched movies, read magazines, then ate the food , worked on laptop and mostly kept on admiring u jo karte hue main kabhi nahi bore hota

nandini smiled and pulled his cheeks

m=accha tum khana khalo cause thori der baad plane land karne wala ha

nandini nodded and started to eat the food kept for her. she turned around and looked through the window, the shining lights were indicating they had reached. the view was a must to watch nandini thought. nandini again turned towards manik who was engrossed in his work with the tablet.

manik looked at her and saw her looking at him with a questioning look raising her eye brow.

n=mr malhotra ap yaha mere sath holiday pe aye hana? then yeh kam kyu???

m=kuch nahi baba... woh bass ek contract parraha tha u no agar profitable hua then i'll think of it signing it in london

n=manik... agar tum is pure week office gaye na i swear main tumse bat nahi karungi and dad se complain kardungi

she made a cute pout and took a bite of her favourite chocolate while manik was giggling

n=haso mat... main sacchime complain karungi... no works and no office

m=accha mera doll... sorry..no working issues this whole week..only love and love with my jaan

nandini became happy and he pecked her cheeks. the cabin crew announced they were about to land. nandini again holded maniks hand and manik assured her its all okay. after a safe landing MaNan finally reached London. nandini was fascinated seeing the big airport and the long lanes and all the people moving this side to that side. Heathrow airport was surely no doubt the busiest airport of the world nandini thought. manik with one hand holding her hand and in another hand carrying his jacket moved towards the immigration. once all the formalities were done they took their luggage and came outside the airport.

n=manik, how will we go??

m=dont worry hum...

manik didnt even finish talking when his driver rushed to him and welcomed him with a warm hug

m=nandini...he's alex. he's been serving us for about 6 years.

nandini shaked hands and smiled

the black BMW standing in the parking lot waiting for them. the night view of londong was a treat to watch. nandini was resting herself in maniks embrace and looking out of the window.. while passing the Big Ben nandini smiled and jumped off his embrace to see a more clearer view

he smiled and caressed her hair

her smile grew more bigger. one thing manik was feeling happy about that because of the trip has diverted her mind. her smile is not disappearing from her eyes which indicated that she was enjoying which meant the world for manik. after one and a half hour of drive they reached their home. nandini was "woh" seeing the bunglow which seemed to be even more bigger than their mumbai home. manik hugged her from side and lead her inside. nandini was about to step inside but manik stopped her

m=do minute ruko..yahipar please..main abhi aya

he rushed inside the house leaving her at the door.. nandini was continuously calling his name and warning him that she would enter now.. nandini was making cute angry pouts and tapping her feet. having enough she was about to step inside when manik rushed back just at the right time to stop her... nandini was surprised to see what all the things he was carrying in his hands.. a bowl of rice, a big round plate containing flour..nandini started to smile

n=yeh sab kya ha??

m=kya ha matlab?? yeh bhi tumhara ghar ha and tum yaha first time ayi ho... as the daughter-in-law toa esehi andar aogi?? no grihe pravesh???

nandini started to laugh seeing all the cute substitute things manik had arranged. he placed the rice bowl infront of her feet and nandini carefull pushed it.. then he put the flour tray infront of her

n=manik seriously???

m=ab...yaha london me itna hi manage kar paya, mom hoti then she would have done it in the correct way

nandini smiled and put her feet on the tray and carefull started to walk holding maniks hand as it was slippery.. finally after coming inside manik clapped welcoming her

he dragged her inside the living room...all the walls of the living room was covered with pictures of their family. starting from manik and mukti's childhood to till now.. nandini smiled and twirled around the room seeing the lovely pictures

the servants came to greet manik along with their luggage. manik carrying a blissful smile introduced nandini to them and instructed them something regarding nandini , her food and everything. permitting them to leave for the next day manik took nandini upstairs but in a bridal style. as soon as nandini entered the luxurious room..she saw a big photo of their marrige where manik was kissing her forehead and her hands on his chest hanging over the king size bed... she looked at manik that how come it is here but before she could ask he answered

m=it takes only a minute for me to arrange everything here... so no need to be so surprising

nandini smiled and hugged him

manik hugged her back tightly nuzzling in her hair.. he kissed her shoulder. they stood there like that for sometime.. after some time manik felt she was sobbing. he broke the hug and he was right.. seeing him she tried to wipe them but he stopped her and himself wiped her tears

nandini hugged him again and this time even more tighter.

manik tried to break the hug but she didnt let him move. nandini put a finger on his lips and gestured him not to say anything and stay like that hugging her. manik smiled and pulled her in a tight bear hug.
