Chapter 10:

Manik came back home. As soon as he was climbing the stairs his mother stopped him n said

Ny: Manik jake ye Shagun ki thaaal Nandini k ghR de aan na.
M: maa mai hi q..kisi b servant ko bhej do. Plzz maa. Mai bht thaka hua hu.
Ny:Manik plzz de aao n tum Nandini se b mille na.
Manik thought for a second n said
M:okay mai Chala jata hu.
Manik had a wicked smile on his face.
Ny:aur sun apne saare friends ko shaadi k saare functions k liye invite kar le.
M:hitler ne permission de di? Manik winked.
Ny:maanikk! Bas kar n ab jaldi jaa.

Manik took the Shagun thaaal n put it on the back seat of the car n went to Nandini's home. He entered the house n saw Nandini was sitting on the couch with her legs folded. Manik,after seeing Nandini had anger in his eyes. As soon as Nandini saw Manik her eyes were wide open n she unfolded her legs n stood up. But at that very moment Nandini's mother came n said
S:are Manik. Vaha q Khade ho. Andar aao na.
But Manik was still staring at Nandini
S:Manik
M:haa anty. Coming.
He gave the Shagun thal n said
M:maa ne bheja h.
S:acha. Tum Khade q ho baitho na. Maine halwa puri banai hai mai tumhre liye Leke aati hu. Tum baitho.
Manik sat on the couch while Nandini was still standing quietly.
M:Nandini bhabhi khadi q ho..? Baitho na.

Navya also came there n saw Manik. She said
Nv: Manik tum yaha itna mat aate Jao. U know Nandini doesn't feel good.
M:are ye ky baat hui Navya. Mere Bhai ka sasural h. Mai q nhi aau.
Nandini didn't say a word while Navya stared at Manik.
M:vaise Navya abhi tum yaha unwanted ho. So can u plzz give us some time. Mujhe bhabhi se akele me baat krni h.

Nandini looked at Navya n said her to go.
M:so bhabhi. Kaisa lag raha h apko haa?? Apki shaadi h. Mere "bhai" se. I hope u r enjoying ur marriage.
He winked at Nandini
N:ky chahte ho Manik?? What u want?
M:are Maine to kuch kaha hi nhi. Aap itni Naraz q ho gyi. Aap kahe to mai apna mooh band kar leta.
Manik raised his finger n put on his lips.
N just moved his shoulder.
Sudha came n saw Manik sitting like this she laughed n said
S:are Manik. Aise q baithe ho. ..??
M:ab ky kare anty Nandini bhabhi ko mera bolna pasand nhi.
He looked at Nandini.
S:Nandini... Aisa Karta h koi beta.
M:ab rehne de anty... Aadat ho gyi h shant baithne ki.
Manik looked angrily at Nandini.
But still Nandini was quite and had tears in her eyes.
S:acha chalo halwa puri khalo.
M:nhi anty mai late ho raha hu. Mujhe Jana hoga. But next time pakka.
S:beta lekin
M:anty plzz
S:acha theeke. Tumpe Udhar raha.
M:ok anty bye. N bye Nandini bhabhi. Take care
He came near Nandini n said
Miss me...(with a pause) "NOT"..!
He gave her an angry look n went.
(BM: vakhif to hue tere dil ki baat se chupaya Jise tune kaynaat se...tu har lamha..chahe dur tha mai ya pass raha...!)

S:are Manik apna phone bhul Gaya Nandini jaa aur use de aa na.
Nandini nodded in a yes quietly n took the phone n rushed outside.
She saw Manik resting his back on the car n his tears were rolling down from his eyes. Nandini couldn't see this n she ran towards Manik n hugged him tightly. Manik was shocked but still he also hugged him back...
(BM: tu zaruri sa h Mujko zinda rehne k liye..)
This scene continued till Manik realise that Nandini was near him
He broke the hug n Nandini moved backward.
N:mai...vo..vo... Mai... Manik tumhra phone...
Manik hold her shoulder n switched the side. Now Nandini's back was facing the car.
M: it hurts Nandini.. It do hurts
He snatched the phone n moved her n sat in the car n went from there. Nandini started crying n said
N:it hurts me also Manik. It do hurts me. But don't have a choice

Manik was in his car n he was thinking how rudely he behaved with Nandini. He had tears in his eyes
M:I m sorry Nandini. May b this is my way to show anger n frustration.
(BM :kaise bataun tujhe k dil mera ky keh raha..rahe na faasle ye Jo h apne darmiyan...)

Cabir was continuously trying Manik but his cell was unreachable. While he was trying he saw Manik in front of his eyes.
M:wassup bro??? Koi plan h ky?
Cabir in confusion
C:matlab?
M:are Bhai shaadi k liye?
C:tere baap ne invite kiya h hm logo ko???
M:haa. Mai khud shocked tha!
They started to laugh.
C:tu kuch gadbad Karke aaya h Manik?
M:nhi. Tujhe q aisa laga bro?
Manik took the apple from the table n sat on the couch. N started eating.
C: tujhe dekkar to aisa hi kuch lagra.
M:kuch nhi Bhai. Acha Mujhe ghr Jana h n tu fab4 ko b bata de.
Manik left.

Nandini came in when her mother said
S:Nandini hme shopping Jana b baccha! Tu ready ho ja. Tere sasural vale b aa rahe h.
N: maa mera mann nhi h.
S:Nandini tujhe aana hi hoga beta.
N: ok maa main ready hoke aati hun.
Nandini went in her room to change.

Manik reached home n he saw nyonika was getting ready to go outside.
M: kaha jari ho maa?
Ny: beta shopping k liye.
M: acha maa... Kon kon aara h?
Ny: Nandini n sudha anty n haa Navya b aari h.
M: mai b aa Jaun maa?u will need my advice.
Ny: haa chal na.
M:mai 5 min me aaya maa.
Manik rushed into his room n called Cabir.
C: bol ky hua?
M: shopping jare hm dono.
C: kon mai aur tu??? Ye kab hua??
M:mai bol raha hu na to hm jare h.
C: nhi yaar Manik. Mujhe nhi aana.
M: Saale Teri vali b aari h.
Cabir in excitement
C:kon Navya?
M: haa
C: kidhar aau bol bas tu.
M:ab aaya na line pe. Chal mai tujhe address text Karta hu.

Manik went down n they reached the mall where Nandini n her mother was already waiting.
Nyonika n Sudha hugged each other while Nandini took blessings from nyonika when Manik said
M:mere b blessings lo Nandini bhabhi
Ny: Pagal. Vo rishte me badi h. Tujhe uska aashirvaad lena chahiye.
Nyonika n Sudha laughed.
M:okay mai bhabhi ki blessings le leta hu.
Manik was about to touch Nandini's feet but Nandini moved backward.
N: bas hogya Manik. N anty ham andar chale?
Ny: haa chalo.
They all moved inside but Manik was waiting for Cabir. After sometime Cabir came when Manik said
M:kaha tha Bhai tu?
C:ready hone me tym lag Gaya.
Navya b to aai hui h na.
Cabir winked.
M:chal ab andar.

So Manik n Cabir joined the ladies.
Everyone was busy shopping.
Nv:this will suit me Nandini?
C:ha Navya. Tum par sab acha dikta h.
Manik coughed.
M:ehm ehm! Ha sab acha lagra h.
Nandini also smiled. After much time Manik has seen smile on his face n he couldn't digest it n he said
M:bhabhi aap ky le rahi h? I have an idea. Aap Raghav Bhaiyya ko call Karke bula lo.
N: no Manik. I m ok.
Ny:Nandini tum ye try karke aao. Go n try it in the changing room.
Nandini took the dress from nyonika n started walking towards changing room.
Manik also went behind her saying that he has some work.

Chapter 11:

Manik followed Nandini n came near her n said
M: q meri Bhai ki life spoil kar rahi ho Nandini Murthy? Why...
N:mai kuch nhi krri. Tum hi ham teeno ki lyf mushkil kar rahe ho. Y don't u just leave me n Raghav alone?
M: what? U want me to go?Repeat it again Ms Murthy n I swear I ll go.
Nandini was quiet.
M:I know u can't say this.
N: go away Manik from here n also from my life. Bas bol diya. Ab ja sakte ho tum.
Manik was shocked coz he didn't expect that Nandini will say this.
M:okay Nandini. I ll not trouble u from now. But mai sab chodke nhi jaa sakta coz mere Bhai ki shaadi h. But don't worry I ll never ever come in ur way.
While saying this Manik had tears in his eyes n he walked out from there.

Nandini went inside changing room n cried.
N to herself : I m sorry Manik

Manik in anger left the mall n came back to his house n went inside his room n lied on the bed. He recalled each n every dialogue of Nandini.

Manik to himself: ab mai tumhre rAste me nhi aaunga Nandini. Mujhe kuch karna hoga taki mai yaha se ja saku. But ky...?


He immediately removed his laptop n did some work n said to himself
I have now applied for London's music academy. Bas jaldi unka confirmation msg aa jae n i will leave India.
Within few minutes Manik received a message from academy that he can join the academy after 3 days.

Manik was happy to see that. He calculated the days n said
M:matlab us din Nandini n Bhai ka sangeet rahega. Acha hua k mai shaadi tak yaha nhi rahunga. Varna it would have been impossible for me to see Nandini getting married to Bhai. But Mujhe kisi ko nhi to at least fab4 ko inform karna padega.

Manik took his cell n messaged fab4 to come to his place asap.
Within sometime fab4 came at Manik's place. They all gathered in Manik's room.
Dr: ky hua bro...? Q bullaya?
M:I have a good news.
Mu: bol na Manik.
M:mera London music academy me selection ho gya n mai London jaa raha hu.
Al: woww.. Grt Manik. Kab Jana h?
I mean 1 month to h na..?
M: no alya I m leaving after 3 days.
C:what?? Tere Bhai ki shaadi h n u r going. ??
M: Cabir tu janta h na k mera ky scene chalu h. N Maine Nandini ko promise kiya h k mai uske raaste me nhi aaunga.
Mu: wait a second. Ky chal raha h ye sab?
Then Cabir explained the whole story to them.
Mu: Manik tune hame kuch nhi bataya.
Dhruv hugged Manik
M: sorry guys. But now u understand my situation na. So plzz let me go. N Raghav ko ya maa ko koi kuch nhi bataenga. Guys group hug plzz
Fab5 did a group hug

C:Manik ek bar fir Soch le?
M:Maine confirm kar Liya h n I m going soon. Tickets b book hogye.
Manik hugged Cabir.
M:don't worry guys I m fine. N London Jana to mera Dream tha.

After 2 days:
It was the day of Sangeet.
Lot of chaos at Nandini's home coz Sangeet function was at murthy's mansion.
It was 7 in the evening when everyone came to the place.
All the boys were in sherwani n girls in ghagra. But fab4 was sad coz Manik was leaving them for much time.
Everyone came in n sat. Then Nandini came down with Navya. She was looking gorgeous in red ghagra. The ghagra had elegant work on it. Her hairs were open. She was wearing a mang tika n some light jewellery which nyonika has gifted her. Manik as well as Raghav was mesmerised to see Nandini.

Nandini's POV:

Manik has kept his promise. He is a man with his words. I m sorry Manik. I m really very sorry. It's a difficult situation for me also.

Nandini came down n sat on a chair beside Raghav when Raghav whispered in her ears.
R:bht achi lag rahi ho Nandini.
Nandini gave a fake smile.

L: let's begin the celebration.
Navya went ahead and welcomed everyone.
Hello guys. Ham sab yaha sangeet k liye aaye h. So let's start the night with girls dance.
Navya, Mukti, n alya came forward. They started the dance on the song "Radha Teri chunri..."
The dance concluded n everyone gave a huge round of applause.
Now it was boy's turn.
Song was "Aadat se majboor.."
It was a marvellous performance.
Now everyone forced to dance but Nandini said she will Sing rather than dance.
Nandini sang the song in a very beautiful voice.
"Mai tennu samjhava ki na tere Bina lagda jee... Tu ki jaane pyaar mera mai karu intezaar tera.."
Her eyes were wet while singing.
Everyone was amazed to see her singing n Manik realised that it was for him.
Now Navya came forward n said that it was tym for Manik's performance.
Navya announced this coz Nandini has told her that she want Manik to perform in her sangeet.
Manik was surprised n he told no. Everyone forced him but he said no.
Nandini then stood up hold his hand n took him till the stage n told him to sing.
Manik then finally nodded in a yes.

Nandini brought the guitar for Manik n gave it to him
Manik started the song...
"Ummm...
Milne h Mujse aayi fir Jane tanhayi Kis mod pe h laayi Aashiqui. Khud se h ya khuda se is pal meri ladayi Kis mod pe h laayi Aashiqui.."
He was recalling all the moments spend with Nandini n he became so aggressive that his blood was started flowing. Everyone were tensed but Manik didn't realise.
After seeing this Nandini's eyes were wet. N then the string of the guitar broke n Cabir went to Manik n hugged him tightly.
Nandini also moved from the hall n went outside.
Manik then broke the hug n said sorry to everyone. He searched for Nandini n saw that she was going out.
Manik told I ll get Nandini. Don't worry N plzz continue the function.

Manik went outside n saw Nandini crying. He went near her n wiped her tears n hugged her.
