Chapter 7:


Next day in morning nyonika went inside manik's room n said
Ny: Manik utho. Hame Nandini k ghr Jana h.
After hearing this Manik woke up with a jerk m asked
M:q maa?
Ny: aaj shaadi ki date leni h n engagement b karni h!
Manik in shock
M: engagement?????? Aaj???
Ny: haa...actually Panditji ne bola h k sagai k liye bht acha mahurat h aaj.
M:acha maa tum log Jao Mujhe nhi aana
Ny: kaisi bate Karra h tu? Tu ladke ka Bhai h n Nandini b ab Teri friend ban chuki h na. Tujhe aana hi hoga. Maine tere kapde table par rakh diye h. Jaldi neeche aaja. We hav to leave.
Nyonika went.
Manik was sad n didn't know what to do. But right now he had to get ready n go coz it was his mom's order. So he went for a bath n changed himself in a red kurta n White pajama.
Manik decided to call Nandini

Here Nandini was very tensed when he received a call from Manik
M: sagai Mubarak ho Nandini bhabhi
Manik voice was very harsh while saying this
N: aisa q Bol rahe ho Manik?
But Manik disconnected the call.
Manik went down n Malhotras left.

Nandini to herself
N: ky hogya ise?
Why he is so hard on me. Does he is feeling the same.
Huhhh... I m messed up.
Suddenly Nandini's mother came in her room n gave her a beautiful dress.
It was a lehenga with a backless choli.
S:jaldi ready ho jaa. Vo log aate hi hunge.
Nandini nodded in a positive yes.

Nandini changed her dress.
She wore the lehenga n then she put jewellery in her ears n neck. Then she was wearing her kangan when Navya came in her room.
Nandini gave a tight hug to her n Navya also hugged her back. She understood that something was wrong. She asked Nandini
Nv: ky hua Nandu?
Nandini started crying when Navya wiped her tears n said
Nv: hua ky Nandini?
N:I don't want to marry Raghav. I love Manik
Navya was shocked.
Nv:what??ye kab hua???does ho luv u?
N: I don't know. I don't know k ye sab kaise hua. But I can't marry Raghav.
Nv:lekin ham ghar par kaise bataenge??
N:ham nhi Bata sakte Navya
Nv : so ab?
N:I have to Marry Raghav. I don't have a choice.
Nv: Payal ho gyi ho Nandini. Will u b able to accept him as you brother in law. Ye nhi ho skta Nandini
N:yahi karna padega.
Rishab came to inform that Malhotras have arrived.
Nandini immediately wiped her tears n came down.
She was looking gorgeous but still something was missing and it was her smile.

Manik was just stunned after looking her but then he turned his face to the other side to control his feelings

Nandini came down n took blessing from nyonika n raj.
Then she gave a smile to Raghav n said hi to Manik but Manik didn't reply. Navya was watching all this n she realised that Manik also luv her.
Then she texted Manik to meet her on the terrace.

Manik saw at Navya and nodded in a yes n they went upstairs making a bahana.

M:ky hua Navya?
Navya directly asked Manik
Nv: do u love Nandini?
Manik was shocked.
M:what??
Nv:give me ur answer
M: aisa kuch nhi h
Nv:but i think u luv her.
Manik was quite
Nv: tumhri khamoshi bata rahi h dat u love her. Nandini also luv u. Kuch karo Manik n go n stop them.
Manik was happy hearing this n he ran to the hall where everyone was present but it was too late.

When he reached he saw Raghav exchanging ring with Nandini.
He was sad. As if he was about to shout. But he can't.

Nandini saw Manik n a tear rolled down from her eyes but she wiped it. N exchanged ring with Raghav.
Everyone was very happy xcept Manan.

Then Panditji said k shaadi k liye acha mahurat 7 days k bad h nhi to 4 months tak koi b acha mahurat nhi h.

Raj: 4months?? No ham itta wait nhi kar sakte. Hm apni bhau ko jaldi ghR Leke jaana chahte
L: lekin Bhai Sahab 7 days me shaadi kaise ho paegi. I mean sab arrangements n ol
Ny:sab ho jaega. Lekin hm shaadi jaldi karna chahte.
S: lekin..
Raj: lekin vekin kuch nhi. Bas decided
Shaadi 7 din bad rahegi.
Nandini burst out into tears n ran into her room.
Ny: ise ky hua?
S:kuch nhi bas shaadi ka sunke Rona aagya hunga. Navya jake dekho ky hua
Manik interrupted
M:anty if u don't mind mai Dekhu?
S:haa ok beta.

Manik went to Nandini's room...

Chapter 8:

Manik came to Nandini's room n saw that the door was closed. He knocked the door n Nandini came near the door n opened it. N again she quietly went near the balcony n said
N: why are u here Manik?
M: tum nhi janti k mai yaha q aaya hu?
Nandini was quite n there was complete silence in the room. Nandini was not facing Manik.
Manik's came close to Nandini n hold her shoulder n turned her n said
M: y are u doing this Nandini?
N:Maine kuch nhi kiya Manik.
Suddenly Manik put his finger on Nandini's mouth n said
M: don't tell anything. Tumhri aankhen sab bata deti h.
After saying this Manik's sat on his knees n said.
M: I love you Nandini. More than my life. U r the only star in my life. I can't even imagine my life without u.
Manik stood up. But Nandini had nothing to say.
M: kuch bolo Nandini.
N: I love you too Manik.
Manik was very happy n he hold her hand n said
M:chalo jake sabko bata dete Nandini.
But Nandini stopped him n said.
N:love always doesn't mean to b United. Sometimes it is an another name for sacrifice. Manik we love each other but we are not meant to b together. I m engaged Manik n that too to ur brother. I can't just hurt anyone. I can't break any relationship for selfish reason.
Manik was shocked hearing this n a tear rolled down from his eyes n he said
M:hamara ky Nandini?
N:hamara...???? Ham kbhi saath the hi nhi Manik. Mai hamesha se Raghav ki hi thi.
M:what are you saying Nandini. Bhai will surely understand but plzz don't do this to me yaa.
N:stop it Manik n let's go down. Everyone is waiting for us.
Nandini started to walk when Manik hold her hand n said
M:agar if today u walked out from here I swear mai tumhre piche kbhi nhi aaunga.
After hearing this Nandini couldn't stopped herself n turned back n ran too Manik n hugged him tightly n gave him a kiss on his cheeks (background music: jhuk gaya asman mil gae do Jahan... N the music stopped) Nandini said
N:we are not meant to b together.
Manik was stunned.
Nandini, after saying this walked out of the room. N Manik was crying. This was the first tym when Manik actually felt something for someone.
(Background music: hamari adhuri kahaani)
Manik was messed up. He was broken. The girl he loved the most has walked out of his life.
Manik then wiped his tears
n said to himself : enough! I can't sit n cry for her. Now she will have to face monster Manik. Welcome to my hell Nandini bhabhi!
Manik then came down n saw everyone hugging each other as Nandini was now ready for the marriage.

S:beta Manik tumne ise kaise samjha liya. Varna ye kisi ki baat nhi maanti.
M:kuch nhi Aunty bas ise kuch realise karvaya n bhabhi maan gyi.
Manik sarcastically said this.
Nandini looked at Manik but she couldn't say anything.
Manik then came to Raghav n hugged him n congratulated him n said
M:Bhaiyya n bhabhi congratulations!
Manik now never failed to say the word bhabhi.
Nandini was very saddened by this.
Ny:Bhai Sahab ab ham chalte h fir hame jake tayyari b karni h apne bhau ko ghar lane ki. Sirf 7 din h hmre pass.
Then Raghav took blessings n Malhotras left. But Manik was Manik. He couldn't leave the place without saying anything to Nandini. He came close to her n said
M:tumne mera pyaar dekha ab nafrat dekhongi. Welcome to my hell Nandini bhabhi!
Manik gave an angry look n left.

Nandini went back to her room n Navya ran behind her but Nandini said to leave her alone.
Nandini started to remove her jewellery harshly n was thinking about what has happened a few minutes ago. She remembered how Manik proposed her n what all has happened.
She went near the mirror n was crying bitterly.
Nandini POV
Manik gave me a chance to came near him but I couldn't.
Manik mai ye Jo kuch kar rahi hu vo hamare liye kar rahi hu. Mai nhi chahti ki koi tumhe blame Kare. Aur mai tumse itna pyaar to karti hi hu k tumhri nafrat seh saku. I ll tolerate anything for u Manik but I cannot be urs. Mai Raghav ya apni family ko dhoka nhi de sakti.
Tumhre dad vaise hi tumhe pasand nhi Karte n agar mai tumhre saath chlne k liye haa bol deti to vo shayad tumse nafrat karte. N I can't let this happen. I am sorry Manik I m really very sorry but I can't be with you.

Malhotras reached home n Manik in anger went to his n slammed the door.
He removed his kurta n was walking in the room saying to himself
M:ye tumne q kiya Nandini. Why...
Ky hamara rishta itna kamzor tha k ham kisi ko apne baare me explain b nhi kar sakte the. Ky hum itne galat the. Nandini u would have given me atleast one chance. Just one. I could have handled everything. But no..u didn't...


Manik eyes were red. He was almost crying because this was his true love. It was his unflinching love for her.

Manik to himself: now Nandini u will see what I am. Mai tumhre liye bht mushkil kar dunga ye sab. U will have to bear it Nandini bhabhi!!!
