Part 8
This journey was going to be a turning point in Manik and nandini's life. Both were oblivious to what is going to happen in this one week trip to London.
Manik, Nandini and dhruv were sitting in the lobby waiting for the announcement. Nandini was feeling uncomfortable with people looking or rather staring at her. She was sitting between two really handsome men wearing a simple anarkali suit. She was embaressed. But tried to hide it. "Just ignore them" she heard Manik telling her. She looked at him, he was reading some business magazine. "U dnt have to be embaressed or nervous. U look gud in what u r wearing. Just ignore the people." He continued still looking in the magazine. She smiled and sat there hearing music in his iPod. Dhruv was sitting besidees nandini talking to someone over the phone, maybe his girlfriend. Yes, dhruv has a girlfriend and the only person who new about it is Nandini. She suggested telling about this to everyone but he said he wanted it to be special.
The flight announced and Manik stood up straightening his black suit. He tapped on Nandini shoulder who was listening to music with her eyes closed. She opened her eyes to see Manik and dhruv standing "let's go the flight is announced" dhruv said giving her a hand to stand up. She took it as kept the iPod back in her purse. They moved towards the gate and she hold manik's hand as the crowd started to increase.
In no time they entered the flight and sat on their seats. Nandini got the window seat, Manik beside her and dhruv after that. Nandini was very nervous and this was her first experience in flying. The flight started to move and Nandini closed her eyes tightly. As the flight took of she grabbed manik's hand tightly. He just looked at her face and thought 'how can she look so cute when she is scared.' He smiled to himself. There was someone else who was enjoying the couples cute moments and it was none other than dhruv. 'God!! Please let them be like this forever, in love with each other happily' he silently prayed and closed his eyes resting his head on the seat.
Nandini didn't leave his hand. Her nails were piercing his palms but he stayed silent. He gently caressed her knuckles with his thumbs soothing the frowns that adored her eyebrows cuz of her nervousness and in sometime he felt her breathing steadily indicating she is asleep. He tried to take his hand from hers but her hold was tight. He could've just pulled his hand but he didn't wanted her to wake up. He wasn't able to sleep. There was something missing. He took out a magazine and simply scanned through the pages hoping he will find something interesting or at least something boring so that he can asleep. But to his dismay there was neither any thing interesting or anything boring. He sighed and leaned back resting his head on the seat and closed his eyes. But sleep was very far from him.
He opened his eyes when he felt movement on his side. Nandini was stirring in her sleep cuz of the uncomfortable sleeping position. She leaned on him, leaving his hand and kept her head on his chest and hugging him through his waist. A small smile appeared on her face as soon as she comfortably shifted her head on his chest. He wrapped his shoulder around her waist and pulled her closer and a sudden warm feeling enveloped him with peace seeping into his heart. He slowly closed his and slipped into sleep.
It was morning. Dhruv was the first to wake and saw Manik and Nandini sleeping hugging each other close. He smiled and clicked a picture of them to send to harsh and and nyonika. The airhostess came enquiring if he needed anything. He just said he needed a glass of water. The air hostess also smiled seeing the couple sleeping cuddling each other. When the Sundays fell on nandin's face through the tiny window, she opened her eyes and realised she was sleeping hugging Manik that too in a plane. She blushed deep but trying to hide it she tries to sit properly that's when she saw manik's hand around her waist keeping her secure and close to him. She leaned back again and kept her head on his chest and closed her eyes not wanting to wake Manik. After sometime Manik also wokeup and saw Nandini sleeping. He didn't move and looked at dhruv who was busy reading some random magazine. "Good morning dhruv" Manik wished him "good morning bhai. Dnt u think u should wake her. I mean we will b landing soon" dhruv replied looking at a sleeping Nandini. "No let her just sleep otherwise she may get panicked or nervous at the time of landing" Manik assured him that it won't b a problem. Within one hour the plane landed and Nandini woke up with a jerk when the plane haulted. "Manik" she gasped as she opened her eyes. "Don't worry we just landed. No need to worry. Am here" Manik assured her. She sighed deeply and nodded her head.
Soon they got out of the airport to find a Lamborghini waiting for them. Nandini's eyes popes out seeing the car. "Ur eyes will come out Nandini" dhruv teased her making her look down embaressed. Everyone was looking at her like she is an alien and she held manik's hand tightly. Sensing her uncomfortability he held her hands tightly assuring her not to be worried. They reached the hotel where they were gonna stay. Two rooms were booked, one for Manik and Nandini and the other for dhruv. They entered their respective rooms. Nandini jaw dropped seeing the room. The whole room was painted white with delicate designs with black. There was a huge bed with fluffy mattress in the middle of the room covered with black covers. There was a big plasma TV opposite to the bed.there was a cream couch in between the bed and the TV, facing the TV. To the right side of the bed was a door to a big balcony with plants. The partition was with a big glass door lighting up the room. Next to the TV is the bathroom. Manik kept the luggage to the corner and sat on the couch resting his head back. She moved towards the balcony, opened the door and went out in the balcony. The balcony was amazing. Plants of different time, some with flowers and some climbers making patterns on the wall.
She was drinking in the beauty of the place when she heard Manik calling her. She came inside and saw Manik all ready. "Am going for the meeting with dhruv. U take rest. U dnt have to panic. If u need food just call the reception and tell. The number is in the diary beside the phone and u have my number so call me if u need anything.ok? He explained it to her calmly. She nodded and he left. Nandini locked the door and went inside the washroom to get fresh. After a hot bath when she tried to come out she remembered that she didn't take any dress. She knew no one was in the room but she was scared to go out like this. She saw a bathrobe hanged there. She quickly wore it and came out. She was too tired to change so she just went to bed straight and dozed off. It was almost evening when Manik returned. He had an extra key to the room so instead of knocking he opened the door with the spare key to get shocked or surprised.
