Part 4:
It was morning 6 and as usual nandini woke up early. She saw manik sleeping tangling himself on her. She slowly untangled herself and kept a pillow in her place so he wont wake up. This was her daily routine. If he sense that she is missing from his embrace he will quickly wake up looking here and there like a mad person.
Nandini's POV:
It was one mnth after the marriage. Till then it had become impossible for both of them to sleep without making love. One mrng I woke up early and went inside the bathroom to freshen up. When I came out I saw manik searching for something. He was looking in the terrace of our room and looking at each and every corner. I didn't expect him to be awake so I was just wrapped in a towel. "Manik" I called him, his eyes shot at me and for a second I got scared with the look in his eyes. I was shivering and expecting an outburst. But he just ran to me and pinned me to the terrace wall and whispered in my ears "dnt do that again" saying this he left me went into washroom. I didn knw y he behaved like that. And after that I noticed that whenever I wakeup and move he opens his eyes. I still dnt know y he wakes up when I wakes up and I never sked him. Just because he had girlfriends didn't make me jealous or feel cheated. Yes manik had girlfriends but he never crossed his limits with any of them. He loved me or not, he crossed his limits with me only. He never tried to get physical with them even his girlfriends tried to.
I recalled dhruv's comment on our first anniversary "you guys are just madae for each other" we just smiled at him while others nodded in agreement. Everyone knows us as the perfect couple who loves each other immensely. And we never bothered to correct it. We wanted their happiness. I know I was an unwelcomed person in manik's life. He didn't wanted to marry but he did, and he cares for me eventhough he pretend he dont, for his parents and his parents love me like their daughter and dhruv loves me like a sis and best friend.
My thoughts were broken by a whisper and it was none other than manik. I went near him to hear what he was saying "Nandini come here" it was more like a command. I got puzzled with ths sudden whisper. But ignoring the thoughts I pulled away the pillow carefully and sunngled into his chest and a sudden peace and happiness gushed inside me. I closed my eyes and letthe warmth take over me.
No ones POV:
It was 7:30 when the alarm rang. Manik woke up immediately and turned off the alarm. He saw nandni leeping cuddling him. He untangled himself from her and kept his shirt there so that she wont wake up. He knew the intensity of her love that she'll wake up if she feels his warmth and scent missing. He sat upright on the bed and slowly raised her top to see her wounded waist. He caressed it softly and whispered a sorry and went to bathroom to get changed. When he came out she was not to be seen and he exactly knew where she was. She was in the kitchen preparing green tea with cinnamon and elaichi, his favorite. She came with the green tea and kept it on his office study table where he was engrossed in his works. Without uttering a word she moved out to prepare coffee for others as well. She knew manik was a workaholic. He loved his job and he would literally rip a persons head if he/she disturb while he is engrossed in his work. He got that trait from his dad. And nyonika used to tease them saying "like father like son" and everyone would laugh on it to get angry glares from manic and harsh but later to join in the laugh.
That was their bonding. Lots of teasing and laugh.
It was 9 in the morning and everyone was ready to have breakfast and manic was still not there yet. "yeh manik kaha hein?" nyonika asked eyeing the stairs. "ma, he'll come in a second" nandini said without looking at the stairs. As soon as nandini finished her sentence, manik walked down the stairs making everyone shocked and look at nandini disbelievingly. "kya hua?" nandini asked looking at their shocked expression. Just then manik came there and wished everyone good morning. "vese aaj sab log nandini ko ese khoor kyu rahi hon?" he asked casually noticing their shocked expression. "nothing beta, we were just shocked to see how much she knows u." harsh said controlling his laughter. He knew how to tease his som. Manik raised his eyebrows not understanding what his dad meant. "manik, I was just saying that u weren't coming down and nandini said u'll b cming in a second. As soon as she completed her sentence u were coming. I mean how can someone know so accurately about someone." Nyonika teased and nandini blushed. "ya...I mean do u guys have a mindlink or something?" dhruv asked and everyone burst out laughing while nandini just blusjhed and manic smiled. "hogaya aap logon ka?" manik asked seriously, others stopped laughing for a secong but then again started like maniacs. This time manik also joined leaving a blushed and embaressed nandini.
They had breakfast with lots if leg pulling and laughs. Harsh, dhruv and manik started to go and as routine nandini and nyonika went to door to see them off. The trio hugged both nandini and nyonika before they left.
This was how their life was. Everything was going smoothly. Everyone in the house knew about maniks girlfriends. They never thought about it seriously. They knew manic took al these casually and ther is nothing to worry. For nyonika harsh and dhruv, manik and nandini loved each other. Whenever manic told them that he married nandini cuz nyonika and harsh they would tease him saying ya we all knows it and have a hearty laugh.
Manik and nadini kept whatever happened between them to themselves, be it fights or their relationship. For them their parents happiness was prime.
Will this happiness stay forever? Will manik ever fall in love with nandini? Or is he already in love with her but not realizing? Will nyonika harsh and dhruv comes to know about manik and nandini's relationship?
