Nandini: Manik look at me. ( he does)
Manik love is selfless. You're right Manik..its magic. It will make you happy. And the day you realise that you've found your true love..that day you might not feel this much hurt. Just have patience and believe me love will happen to you and it'll be the best feeli g of your life.
He was overwhelmed by this and hugged her instantly **first manan hug omg**
He found solace in her arms. She was smiling too. They broke the hug and Manik wiped his tears.
Nandini was looking at him constantly.
Manik: what? Esse mat dekho ok? Manik Malhotra doesn't cry ok?
Nandini smiled and said "Manik Malhotra should never even cry. He doesnt look good like that. " (she winked)
Her phone rang. It was Navya.
**nandini: hello. Hey navya
Navya: hey where are you?
Nandini: mee? Umm..i am out somewhere bolo?
Navya: arre..you said na after college shopping. Remember?
Nandini looked at the time on her phone screen
Nandini: oh gosh. Sorry i forgot. Ek kaam karo. You reach the market. I'll see you there directly.
Navya: acha thieke**

She ended the call.
Nandini: I totally forgot. I have to go and meet navya. We need to shop for tomorrow's party.
Manik: Oh. Abhi jana hai?
Nandini: yup. Chalo you enjoy the winds. Ill take your leave.
Manik: nah, ill drop you.
They both head towards the car.

Scene change. College gate.
Navya was looking for a taxi when she saw cabir going towards his car.
She ran towards him calling out his name aloud.
"Cabirr..cabirrr...listen"
He kept walking thinking "ohgod yeh madhubala ab wapas irritate karegi. "
She finally reached him.
Navya:you're going somewhere?
Cabir: han ghar
Navya: great. Can you drop me to the market please?
Cabir: no.
Navya: why but. Please naa
Cabir: look navya..hear this out and get it for once. I cabir is a rockstar. I dont spend time with aunties like you. I mean look at yourself yaar. Yeh two ponytails yeh suit yen chappals..the way you talk..you're not you're not..
Navya: i am not of your standards right? (She had a serious look on her fa e)
Cabir: no..i mean..
Navya left in great anger.
Cabir: daaammn! Cabir can't you control your anger. Bina baat mein mood spoil kar diya uska. Damn!

Nandini and manik reached the market. Nandini was about to step out when manik interupted.
Manik: hey listen..i wanted to say thanks for today. I mean..you
Nandini: you dont need to thank me manik. Always there. ( smiled) She left with this.
She met navya. Navya clearly looked angry and disturbed.
Nandini tried to ask her but she didn't say anything. They both shopped for themselves and go back home.
It was 10pm. Nandini was lying on the bed thinking about the day. All she could recall was Manik. She thought to textig him. But then she resisted. Just then he did. ;)
**Manik: hey, u there?
Nandini: hey..i was just thinking to text you
Manik: ah! So thats what you do in your free time? Think of texting me? XD
Nandini: noo..i didnt mean that :$
Manik: haha anyways i was thinking Kal ki party mein I'll pick you from your place and we'll go together?
Nandini: I'd love that but I promised that I'll be with Navya.
Manik: ohh,ohkay. No problem! :)
Nandini: great, see you bye
Manik: yaa..bye. **

Finally another awaited day arrives. Space academy's most famous fresher's party.
Scene: 7am college.
The workers were busy decorating the college and prici was ensuring that all arrangements were done as per plan.
Scene: NN House. 9:30 am
Nandini and navya just had breakfast and were going to get ready.
Navya: Nandini chalo lets get ready.
Nandini: abhi toh loads of time na? We have to leave at 11 right?
navya: han so? Bahaut kaam hai. Dress, hair, makeup and pictures of course.
They laughed and went to get ready.
First Navya went to change. She wore a golden full length indo western dress that was off shoulder. Next, Nandini came out. She wore a red gown. The gown had a frock style ending had had net sleeves. Navya curled her hair and nandini just straightned them a bit. Both wore matching accessories and heels.
Atlast both were ready.

Atlast both got ready.
Nandini: wow Navya, you look so different. Trust me bahaut acchi lag rahi ho.
Navya: you too, you look like a doll trust me (she winked )
Nanadini: thanks. (She smiled) both of the then headed towards college.

Scene change. Fab5's place.
They all had decided to gather at Alya's place and leave from there.
Alya wore a beautiful black dress. It complimented her figure well. Mukti wore a very stylish red top and black short skirt.
Cabir and druv wore Shirts of Red and Black respectively.
Manik was looking amazing. He wore a red tshirt below a black blazer and formal pants. He truely looked like a gentleman.
Cabir: so all ready? Chalo lets go and rock the party.
All smiled and nodded. They all left.
While they were in car.

Nandini and Navya reached the venue before Fab5. It was a mask party in the begining. And the auditorium was made dark. They wore their masks and entered. Abhi came next. Fab5 entered in the end.

So everyone assembles. Raghav sir comes on stage and welcomes everyone.
He tells them that at space there is a traditon of choosing mr and ms freshers.
And couples are made in a unique way.
(Abhi and mukti, Druv and alya were despirately wanting to be each other's partner.)
(Manik was constantly looking around for nandini and so was nandini.)
All the boys were made to stand in a circle and girls were to dance with them. Partner would change after few steps (Rotation i hope you all understood) and the moment the music stops whoever you are dancing with would be your partner.

Music began. Destiny always has a plan for us all. It did have a plan for them aswell. Everybody got what they wanted, their desired partners.
Music stopped. Manik was still holding nandini's hand and they were lost in each other's eyes. It was dark around and they were wearing masks, this didn't stop manan from recognising each other. This is what love is,isnt it?
Druliya and mukhbhi were extremely happy to be with each other.
Cabir got navya. Cabir was dumbstruck looking at her. His mouth was open and he was completely stunned. She looked beautiful to him.
Cabir:Navya oh my god you look soo..
Navya: please! Dont need your compliment, lets just do these stupid tasks and get over with it asap.
Cabir understood she was irritated for yesterday's incident.
Raghav sir: great so we all have our patners now. The first task is paper dance. Ready guyss?
All couples stood on papers.
Music started playing **Tu jo hai toh mai hun**
Manan had not spoken a word since the party had started. They were just having intense eyelocks. While dancing nandini was feeling shy and looked down many times when manik lift her face and made her look straight into his eyes.
As the paper got folded the distance between them reduced.
The last fold made manik lift nandini in his arms.
Nandini: maaanik! Nooo. Leave me, ill fall.
Manik: I'll never let you fall, trust me. (He gave a comforting smile)
She trusted him, so she kept quiet.
4 couples were shortlisted from the task: Manan, Cavya,Mukbhi &druliya.

Task2: Combined Music quotient test
The test started. The test hd questions on both indian classical and western rock music. All the couples finished the test and the outcome was as expected.
Since nandini and navya had knowledge of classical music. Only 2 couples could qualify for the last task. Manan and cavya. ;)

Raghav Sir: ohkay guys, so the last task is a very simple one. Both the couples need to perform a duo. The crowd cheered.
You all get one hour to prepare.
Both canvya and manan go to their respective music room.
Cavya scene:
Cabir:Sorry.
Navya kept quiet and ignored eyecontact. Cabir held her hand tightly
Cabir: look at me goddamit! I am saying sorry na..kal vo sab i didn't mean it at all, gusse mein nikal gaya.
Navya turned her back towards him and said "tumne toh gusse mein bol diya cabir but your words really hurt me...you were right too, i don't belong here, i mean look at mukti, alya, all these people are so stylish..and me? I am just a joker for you all you people"
Cabir went infront of her "nooo, nothing like that navya. And what did you say? You dont belong here? Kya guitar bajati ho tum boss. You deserve to be here, you belong here. And cartoon? No, i mean i agree kabhi kabhi you do things that might make people laugh at you, but not me. I laugh with you, not on you, i swear"
Navya: accha, chalo, hold your ears and say sorry!
Cabir: what?
Navya: do it!!
Cabir:...and madhubala is back! He pulled his ears and said sorry.
Navya ruffled his hair: good boy! Chalo lets practice now. Cabir smiled and noded.
Manan scene:
Nandini: Manik?
Manik: hmmm ( he said while tuning his guitar)
Nandini: wo actually..wanted to say something...you're..you're
Manik: han bolo?
Nandini: You're loooking very handsome today ( she said it in a go and looked away with eyes tightly closed)
Manik became joyous. He went up to her took her hand and said "Nandini, not fair, you know couples mein boys give the compliment first."
Nandini looked at him with widened eyes "couples?"
Manik: accha, what do you think we are? Friends han?
Nandini: haaan, better friends, good friends..i guess!
Manik smiled at her innocence.
Manik: ohkay so my good friend, you look lovely today, like a star, beautiful.
This was just the compliment that she was waiting for and blushed on hearing it!
Manik: arre arre blushing? Do you always blush when your "good friend" gives you a compliment han?
Nandini pushed him aside "Manik lets practice, i want us to win this" she said still blushing.
And both the couples continued practicing!
It was finally time to perform,
First cavya performed on the song *Drama Queen*. It was a full fun filled performance and the crowd enjoyed.
Backstage, nandini was praying to her aaiyapa "Aaiyapa, my first performance with manik, and that too, freshers final, please make us win this, please?". When she opened her eyes, she saw manik standing in front of her. Manik: how cute can you be,gossh.
Nandini was red like a tomato. Just then host announced for manan to be on stage. They sang **Tu hi yeh mujhko batade, chahu mai ya na**
This sweet performance was admired by all. They kept smiling during the performing.
Mukti: awww. They're so cute.
Abhi: i agree.

It was time for results.
Both cavya and manan came on stage.
Nandini was nervous, so manik held her hand. Nandini tightened the grip and closed her eyes.
Raghav Sir: So, Mr. And Ms. Fresher are...MANIK AND NANDINI!!
The crowd hooted and claped.
Nandini got all happy and hugged manik in excitement. Manik responded the same way.
They were made to wear the titles and were given flowers. On stage, they looked no less than prince and princess.
