It was 6:30 in the morning. Nandini has just taken a bath and had just come out. Her phone rang. She picked up in full excitement.
Nandini: Amms!! Hello. How are you?
Amms: I am doing great,doll. Tum kaisi ho? How is mumbai? How is your college?
Nandini: everything is great her amms. I just love the atmosphere her. Sab bahaut positive hai.
Amms: wow thats great. Tum acche se settle ho gayi na? You made friends right?
Nandini: yes. You know my flatmate at the PG is also in my college. I made other friends too. Everyone is sweet.
They kept on talking for a while.
It was almost 7:30 when navya came to nandini's room.
Navya:Madam ajj college bunk karna hai kya?
Nandini looked at the clock.
Nandini: oh shitt. Amms i am late. I need to rush. Bye bye bye. Take care. Love you.
She ended the call.
"Oh god ajj toh bahaut late ho gaya"
Nandini: just give me 5 mins, ill be ready.
They reached college in great hurry.
She met cabir on her way.
Cabir: you are nandini murthy right?
Nandini: yes. And you are?
Cabir: cabir. I am sure you know fab5. I am a member of that band.
Nandini: oh yes i do.
Cabir: vo actually mujhe pata laga tum uss madhubala ki room mate ho.
Nandini: madhuba..ohh. you mean navya? Ya. So?
Cabir: (in a high pitch voice) so matlab kyaa..tumhare naam pe toh mandir banna chaiye. Tum usko 24 hours jhelti hun.
Nandini (smiled): i agree thodi dramatic hai but she an an amazing person. Trust me, ek baar baat karke toh dekho.
Cabir: ya past two days se try kiya. We're performing in freshers party tomorrow. So yaa..i kinda know how she is. (They both were laughing)
Nandini: haha. Anyways, ill catch you later. Bye.
Cabir: no listen wait.
Nandini looked at him.
Cabir: i had a work from you. Woo..as you know kal freshers hai and navya. I mean we're performing together as a band soo..voo
Nandini: han i know all that..come to the point na
Cabir: please navya ke sath shopping jao yaar. Vo kal kuch punk sa pehnke ayegi and i know everyone is gonna laugh on her.
Nandini laughed at this.
Nandini: dont worry. Ill make sure that tomorrow noone laughs at her and also, i promise kal sab usse dekhte reh jayenge. Including you!!
Cabir: ya i wish that happens. She smiled and left.
Nandini took out her phone and texted navya
**Nandini: Navya be ready after college we'll directly go shopping.
Navya: par why. I have enough clothes..do you want anything?
Nandini: we need to shop for the party tomorrow. Don't say no please.
Navya: ya ok see you.**

Scene change: Music room.
Druv and alya were sitting next to each other holding hands.
druv: its been six months now. Its too much now alya. I can't hide it from everyone now. (He was angry)
Alya: i understand. Now even i feel we should tell fab5 about it. But wont they feel bad that we've been hiding about our relationship to them.
Druv: we'll face the consequences together. Dont worry. (He cupped her face)
They heard something fall on the door. Navya was there..she heard everything. Navya: vo humme laga we are having a practice session now so i can came..sorry, i am going.
Alya: no navya wait.
Alya went up to her. She looked at druv and again at navya, "Please dont tell anyone about us..please."
Navya was quiet and looking down.
Alya: i always insult you right? Ohkay so next time tum mujhe publically humiliate karna and i wont say a word. I wont even bother you from now. But please please dont tell anyone about me and druv.
Navya:Alya relax. I wont tell anyone. And i wont even humiliate you. But yes, there is something i want in return.
Alya gave a questioning look
Navya offered her hand "Friendship?"
Alya smiled and shook hands with her.
"Sorry for being rude always. It wont happen again,pakka"
Cabir entered from behind. "Wow alya and navya handshake. Whatsup alya. Tum dono friends kaise"
Alya got nervous.
Navya: mr.batman tum mean ho iska matlab nahi ki sab mean hai. You have problem in our friendship?
Cabir: hah, no why would i
Druv: forget it guys, now that we all are here, lets practice. Kal final performance hai.
They all started practicing.

Nandini was heading towards the canteen when she saw abhi and manik walking in front of her.
She joined them.
Abhi:Hello princess.
Manik: kal toh patchup hua hai, and abhi se flirting? Sudhar jaa
Abhi: bestfriends dont flirt, right nandini? (He winked)
Nandini: Absolutely!
Abhi: anyways, kahan jaa rahi thi?
Nandini: canteen, wo subeh i got late so i didn't have breakfast so thought of just grabbing a bite.
Abhi: great. Ill catch you later. I ve planned a surprise for mukti. I need to go. Bye.
Abhi left leaving manik and nandini.
Manik: so hungry?
Nandini: yaa. Bahaut! (She said innocently)
Manik: tum rooz rooz canteen mein khake bore nahi hoti? Why not try somthing different
Nandini: so..where should we go? I am new in mumbai, dont know any good place.
Manik: we? I thought you said you were hungry.
Nandini looked down with widened eyes. (Cute look)
Manik: haha, chill. Sirf tum mazak kar sakti ho han? Anyways, you haven't explored mumbai yet right?
Nandini: not at all.
Manik: So, Miss.murthy give a chance to be your mumbai guide. What say?
Nandini: yes, sounds like great fun.
Manik: so chalo, lets to the beach. Ya?
Nandini: cool. Lets go.
They both were about to leave.
Nandini: but manik wait
Manik: hmm?
Nandini: what will you tell fab5?
Manik: nah, thats sorted. All three are busy in practicing and mukti is out on a date.
Nandini nods and they leave.

Scene change. Beach,11:30am.
Manik and nandini were standing in front of the beach. It was beautiful.
Brezze was blowing amazingly. It was a perfect weather.
Manik: so first you eat something then we can chill at the beach.
Nandini looks at all the stalls and points at an south indian one.
Nandini: lets eat there?
Manik: gosh. Tum south indians apna food kabhi nahi chordte na? C'on yaar. You've come to mumbai. First time on beach, enjoy local food no?
Nandini: ohkay. So you suggest?
Manik takes her to a local stall. They eat vadapav and pani puri. In the end they take one kulfi each and sit on beachside.
Nandini: manik this is amazing. All the food, it was yumm!!
Manik: you know when i was a kid..i used to come here with my mum..we used to play with sand.
Nandini: why dont you come with your mum now? (She asked while eating)
Manik: she left us. My parents are divorced.
Nandini turned to manik.
Nandini:umm. Sorry...I..I shouldn't have asked.
Manik: She left dad because she loved someonelse. Wth is this ya? Love doesnt make you do these things. Love is supposed to be magic. Its supposed to make things around you happy. Her love destroyed two lives nandini. Is this love? (Both manik and Nandini had tears in their eyes)
Nandini came forward and kept both her hands kn Manik's shoulder.
Nandini: Manik look at me. ( he does)
Manik love is selfless. You're right Manik..its magic. It will make you happy. And the day you realise that you've found your true love..that day
