Chapter 6 part B
The party was taking place at Manik's home
Nandini and Navya arrived at 8:00 pm at Manik home, Fab4 was not there yet. Upon arrival Nandini and Navya saw that no one was there so they decided to ask the servant where was Manik. The servant respond by saying he is in his room. I will go get him.
After a few minutes Manik descend the staircase of his house, Nandini and Navya was waiting for him in the hallway.
Nandini POV
He is looking so handsome, my heart is drawn so much towards him, it's insane. I started liking him the day I first met him. We shared an instant connection. It was like a fire burning within me when I shook his hand for the first time. She question herself again, is this love? If it is then I am falling really hard. I don't know if this will turn out to be something good or something bad. I am fearing the latter.
Manik POV
He took a deep breath, she is looking breathtakenly beautiful just like an angel. Her smile, omg it just adds to her beauty and her eyes speak volume; everything about her is perfect. She was also looking sexy tonight. Manik thought to himself that this girl is driving him insane. This is first time he is feeling for a girl like this, it is nerve recking but at the same time it is a beautiful feeling. Although he is shy person he wants badly to open his heart up to Nandini and tell her how he is feeling. In a short span of time he start liking someone so much that it is making him uneasy, he have to find a way to deal with this feeling really fast either he tells her or forever hold his peace.
When he reach where Nandini and Navya stood he extended his hand to greet them. He greeted Navya first and thank her for joining their celebration. Navya responded by saying Welcome!
He then reached out his hand to to shake Nandini one, they instantly shared an eyelock gazing into each others eyes for a few second, it was broken when Fab 4 arrived along with Abhi, Mukti 's boyfriend. He was not present at the opening ceremony as he was out of town, but he returned later that evening and decided to accompany Mukti to their party. Nandini then quickly remove her hand from his because she knew the effects his touch have on her.
Nandini and Navya then greeted fab4 and Abhi. They then shortly decide to get the party started.All of them start dancing on peppy number having a ball of a time, throughout the dance Manik and Nandini were stealing glances at each other. They start feeling tired after a time and decided to switch to romantic music.
Mukti and Abhi pair up, Aliya and Dhruv, Cabir ask Navya to join him for a dance leaving Manik and Nandini out. Mukti notice both were just standing by themselves and decide to bring them on the dance floor to dance together.
Manik oblight to the dance as if he was waiting for this opportunity. He pull Nandini closer to him by her waist leaving no space between them. Throughout the dance they had their eyes constantly on each other. Manik was looking at Nandini with love, care and deep passion. First time he openly want to show his love to her and he did not lose this this opportunity of having her close to him. It was like his shyness was finally going away slowly, Nandini was the one making him do that. Nandini felt a sense of peace and calm when she was in Manik arms that she decided to rest her head of his chest. She was comfortable with him. All the others were also lost in their own world not paying attention at Manik and Nandini.
Manik and Nandini was so lost in each other arms that it took them a while to register what was happening right next to them. Dhruv was on his Knnes proposing to Aliya. Everyone was clapping and hooting. When they came to their senses they realized what was happening. They also join in telling Aliya to say yes, Aliya reciprocate her feelings for Dhruv by also going down on her knees and saying yes to him. If you ask me for a thousand time to marry you I will happily and willingly do so, I love you Dhruv so much, Dhruv responded to her by saying he love her more. They even share an kiss on the lips after that, every one still clapping. Mukti was extremely happy for her sister, although she is big for Aliya by one year she and Abhi has been with each other for only two months now and Aliya and Dhruv is with each for a year and a half. Aliya and Dhruv share a special bond and she was happy that they were taking the next step. Dhruv had already ask Aliya parents permission to propose Aliya and they happily agreed.
Every one then hug Aliya and Dhruv and congratulating them and express how much they are happy for them. They celebration even became a bigger one. A wedding was soon on the way. Aliya and Dhruv decided to get marry in a month time. There were lots of preparation that needed to done now and onwards.
Mukti said lets get ready to rock and roll as it my sister that is getting marry. Her excitement knew no bound
