LOL it's not realistic to expect ppl to look EXACTLY the same one whole year later especially with the rigors of shooting a daily soap as they have...and anyways they aren't really teenagers so they're not gonna look that much...the look is bound to evolve with the story...they look fine for this point of the story...as long as the stylists take care to give them age appropriate clothes and hairstyles.
