He thought he had won..he thought he regained his place..he thought he would be happy but he wasn't... Manik was restless he didn't knew why he was restless but he was restless there was a pain in his heart and he felt someone is twisting his heart so badly that it would just rip out of his body... He still couldn't see her crying.. After all that went down yesterday and after walking away from her what was he doing at her house at this time... Manik thought as he looked up the balcony... Everything looked the same there , the wind chimes still made the sweet music, the diyas still illuminated the room and fragrance still filled the atmosphere.. "Then what has changed.." Manik thought...

"Manik you have changed and your relationship with Nandini had changed forever.." a little voice from his heart said.."You had a beautiful love which walked into your life without you ever asking for it but all you did is make every attempt to throw it away.." the voice in his heart grew louder and louder and then there was another voice which came straight out of his arrogant brain "you are Manik Malhotra and you don't need anyone to complete you.." and just like that Manik's ego got better off him and he drove off..

Meanwhile Nandini heard a car being driven off she ran to the balcony hoping to see Manik coming with the regret but all she saw was Manik driving away... She was heart broken...and soon tears started to flood her eyes...She sat on the ground and looked at the stars and remembered what Manik said on his birthday "You know me like stars Nandini.." She wiped her tears, looked upto the stars and said "yes Manik I do know you.. I know you better then you have ever know yourself and I will never give up on us, I will never give up on you...But this time you have to come to me and fix what you have broken..Relationships are not built on broken trust and robbed self respect.. The day you will give it back to me is the day for our new beginning.." Nandini said with a determination in her voice.. "I know you love me Manik and very soon you too will accept it but till then we are strangers with memories and yes you did mess with the wrong girl Manik Malhotra.." having said this Nandini smiled after a long time.. With new determination and hope she went to sleep peacefully..

On the other hand it was the beginning of many sleepless nights for Mr Manik Malhotra... He was pacing up and down in his room all restless and then he saw his guitar and he knew that when nothing helps music helps.. He picked up his guitar and started playing but it seemed the melody was gone from his music.. For the first music couldn't heel him.. He wanted to go to DJ and talk to her but couldn't gather the courage to do so...

He went into his locker and took out the anklet and scarf and kept looking at them... Manik was confused his heart wanted to be Nandini and beg for forgiveness but his ego and arrogance stopped.. Manik sighed and said "what happened to us stranger.."

Two people or should we say two strangers lost in each other but it was a complete u turn for them.. One was sleeping peacefully with the determination get back what she lost and other who thought he won stood lost amid the rubble of his dreams and heart...

It was 7 am when the door of Malhotra Mansion rang and DJ smiled hearing this.. "First step to victory Nandini.." She said to herself.. She went down to meet Nandini and saw Neyonika insulting Nandini.. "You just have no self respect it seems.. Just 48 hours back my son showed you your place and look you're standing here.." Hearing this Nandini smiled "Neyonika mam with all due respect I am standing here not because DJ hired me to work for not you or Manik.. And as far as my memory goes she is still the owner of this house and responsible for decisions about it.. So I am answerable only to her but no one else.." and Nandini walked by Neyonika leaving her fuming with anger...

She walked upto DJ greeted her and took her into her bedroom.. "Wow that was something.." DJ was mighty impressed with Nandini.. "DJ i cannot thank you enough for supporting me.. I know its not easy for you to be angry on Manik.." Nandini sighed... "No beta actually that idiot made it easy to be angry on him.." DJ replied.. "But I realized DJ that I have to fight back for my self respect and for the love we share.. I am going to show Manik that love is not as weak as his ego and anger.."
