It was 2 am in the night and everything was calm with the whole city enjoying its sleep.. But there was a boy one boy who just couldn't sleep.. His whole world was flipping upside down..His so called perfect life with great friends, his music and a girlfriend but now one girl whom he had know for just for few days has flipped Manik Malhotra's whole life.. She made him smile, happy, stupid and scared and fall in love too.. All these were align for him, Manik never smiled, he was never happy, stupid.. Manik has never been scared of anything and definitely never been in love..

Manik pulled up outside Malhotra Mansion and went straight to DJ's room only to find her sleeping.. Unwilling to disturb her, he kissed her forehead and went straight to his room.. He laid on his bed and closed his eyes trying to get a distraction but it seemed Nandini took his peace with him...All the moments again started flashing in front him their romance, the kiss and then her swollen eyes and the way she looked at him when she left.. All these made him more restless and he got, not knowing where to find peace Manik was getting restless when he found "Love Story" .. He took the book and jumped straight to the last page where Nandini had written her inscription.. "Love heals us, it heals a broken heart like it was never broken..Its crazy, insane and mad but if it's not it's love..I know I sound stupid but that's what I want a love that consumes me, a boy who will love me so much and whom I will love so much that we both doubt our sanity.. I know that love exists and waits for me somewhere as I am waiting for him and soon I am going to meet him..Till then its all about Oliver and Jennifer.. - Nandini Murthy" Manik kept reading it again and till he fell asleep..

It was 7 am and Nandini was standing in front of Malhotra Mansion. She didn't wanted to come there but had no choice she could not run away from her responsibilities.. After some thinking and some fighting between heart and brain heart won and she rang the bell.. The servant opened the door and as per previous days routine Nandini went into the kitchen and made tea for DJ and Manik.. She gave Manik's cup to servant and went to DJ's room.. She knocked and went in to see DJ was up already was meditating.. "Good morning DJ" Nandini greeted her.. "Good morning beta thanks to you I am again an early riser otherwise Manik made me an owl.." She smiled and took the cup from her but she noticed that the smile and glow from her face is missing when she took Manik's name..

DJ gestured Nandini to sit next to her.. "What happened yesterday? I know what happened between you and Manik yesterday in the music room.." Nandini was shocked and was feeling awkward while DJ smiled "I am very happy that it happened..Trust me beta nothing makes me more happy.." She caressed her hair.. "But DJ its wrong.." Nandini said.."Manik has a girl friend and what happened shouldn't have happened.." Nandini said trying to hide her tears.. DJ laughed when she heard this leaving Nandini confused "Who Alya if she can qualify as girl friend and we have to change the meaning of love.. Manik is with her not in love with..You don't have to be scared.."

DJ's words left Nandini all confused.."What did she meant that she's happy with what happened.. What's going on here.. Entire Malhotra clan seems to be crazy.." Nandini's thoughts were broken by DJ's voice "Nandini can you plan for tomorrow?" "Party? What's occasion?" Nandini got all excited.. "Manik's birthday.." DJ said and Nandini got super excited for a moment.. "Choose a theme that you like and arrange a beautiful party for Manik.. Take the guest list from me.." DJ smiled...

Meanwhile in Manik's room the servant served him the tea and as soon as he took the first sip he knew it her.. Manik dropped everything and ran to DJ's room to see Nandini who was humming a song while planning his birthday party.. "Hmm.." Manik cleared his throat and Nandini looked back.. "Why did you swtich off your phone yesterday? No one does that to me?" Manik asked her angrily..."How worried I was and why did you leave with Dhruv? Why were you crying?" Manik's questions just won't stop.. "My wish.." Said Nandini "I am not liable to answer you.." Her reply irked Manik more "No one ignores Manik Malhotra.." Manik said angrily as he held her tightly..

Nandini was trying to break free but all her attempts futile and Manik's grip was too strong.. "Manik you're hurting me.." She said.. "And you're hurting me Nandini.." Manik said.. By this time Manik's grip was too much to handle fro her.."Manik please.." Nandini said with tears flowing and Manik realized what he's doing.. He let go off her and they both kept looking at each and their eye lock was broken by DJ voice.."Good morning Manik.." Manik smiled at her and left the room... Dj knew what might have happened but choose to ignore it...

Later they all met for breakfast which was occupied by awkward silence between Manik and Nandini.. They kept exchanging glances which left Manik more fuming with rage... As they were in the middle of the dinner Alya walked in "Hi baby.." She called Manik but as soon as she saw Nandini there her expressions changed.. "What is she doing here?" "She's my secretary Alya and moreover I still own this house so who comes and who goes out will be my decision.." DJ said.. "Sorry DJ.." Alya said.. Although Alya didn't like her much but se fhe pretended to love her for Manik as DJ was the most important person in Manik's life..

"So what brings you here Alya so early in the morning?" DJ questioned her.. "DJ I am planning Manik's birthday tomorrow so.." DJ cut Alya in between and said "This year you don't have to stress much Alya.. Sweet heart I am arranging my grandson's birthday and you are cordially invited.." DJ got and said "Nandini you and I are driving together.. and Manik I am guessing you'll be coming with Alya.. Good bye to both of you.." she took Nandini with her.. Manik was shocked as to why DJ who was with him is also behaving with him like this..
