It was 7 in the morning and the whole Malhotra Mansion was very silent...DJ was still sleeping and Manik had returned from a late night party at 4 am as usual...Dj's peaceful sleep was broken by a phone call... "Hello." She said in a sleepy voice.. "Good morning mam..I am sorry DJ.." A chirpy voice from the other side said.. DJ looked at her phone and realized it was Nandini and it was her first day at job... "Wow you are up early.." DJ said... "DJ you asked me to be here by 7 am so I am standing outside your house.." Nandini said innocently.. DJ was a very punctual woman and she respected time in her whole life.. But unfortunately neither her grandson or his friends valued time so when she saw Nandini at her door at 7 am she was surprised happily...

She opened the door herself and welcomed Nandini to her home...Nandini was awestruck by Malhotra Mansion. she had never seen a house like that, forget seeing she never imagined there could be something like this can ever exist.. DJ saw her admiring the house and said :its just a house beta not a home don't be awed..." Just as they were talking Neyonika walked in from her all nighter and was not pleased to see Nandini there..

Neyonika was a woman of opportunities and she hated middle class people for her they can't even called people.. "What is this girl doing here?" Neyoniks asked.. "Well she's my assistant and you better talk to her properly DJ replied.. "But mom.." before Neyonika could complete DJ interrupted her "Let me remind you I still own this house and I am the boss so its an order.." Neyonika just couldn't handle this insult and walked off.. Nandini was shocked to see all that.. "What shocked ??" DJ asked her "No no I mean.." She didn't know what to say.. "its okay beta I know this never happens in a normal house but in Malhotra Mansion its an everyday routine.. I know she prays for me not to wake up from my sleep every morning but I have a grand son who loves me more then himself so I guess it balances off there.."

"DJ why don't you sit and relax here I will make tea for you.." Nandini said.. "You know how to make tea?" DJ asked surprised as she expected Nandini to be blissfully unaware of difference between salt and sugar.. "yes mam I know cooking my Ams I mean my grand mom taught me for situations like these.." They both laughed and Nandini walked into the kitchen "Nandini one more thing beta Manik likes sugar free, milk free green tea.." She winked and left.. Nandini remembered how Manik cared for her when she needed it.. How he was there for her every day.. She blushed remembering their message convos and how he caressed her all this made her go red...

As Nandini was lost in her thoughts a servant came in asked for help... She told him what all she needed and started preparing tea.. Soon she was ready with two cups... The servant put one cup in a tray and was about to leave when Nandini stopped him "Yeh kahan lekar jaa rahe ho bhaiya?" Servant "mam Manik baba ki hai aap DJ ko dedoge na.." Nandini was disappointed as she wanted to go and see Manik the same way he visited her everyday but then she wanted to be with DJ so she agreed and the servant went by..

It was 7.40 am when Manik heard a knock on his door "Whose that?" he shouted dazly.. "Sir tea.." and the servant put the cup.. Manik took the first sip with his eyes still closed but as soon as he took the sip all his sleep vanished.. "Who made this??" his question scared the servant as he was aware of Manik's anger and knew Nandini made it "Baba there's a new girl DJ hired she made it.." servant said all scared.. "It's good..Why are you scared? Who is she?" Manik asked.. "I don't know baba.. she's in DJ's room.." he replied..

Meanwhile Nandini walked into DJ's room with the tea cup where DJ asked her to sit with her.. DJ took a sip "wow this is just wow.. what did you add in it..'' She asked "mam i just added some basil and mint leaves along with cardamom and cinnamon nothing else.." Nandini replied and they both sat there chatting.. It was after ages that DJ was laughing and smiling so much and her house felt like home to her.. Just as they were talking Manik walked in to see who DJ hired to sit with her.."Arre Manik.." DJ said and as soon as Nandini heard his name she turned red and her heart started racing.. She stood up and as she stood up Manik saw a girl with long hair and a saffron kuti and white patiala..

"Manik meet my our new assistant Nandini.." DJ introduced them.. "OUR" they both said together... as Manik came running to confirm that it was Nandini indeed.. He was shocked to see her... "mam you said I am your assistant but our.." Nandini was all confused.. "Haan beta woh kya hai na you made tea for me and you made it for Manik too so I said our..Don't worry you are still mine only Manik can avail your services part time with my permission.. Ok Manik.." She winked and Manik smirked.. He gave her "You are a rockstar DJ.." look..

"Manik from today onwards Nandini will come at 7 am and will be going to college with us..And if you and your friends need my time you need to get in touch with her.." DJ said while handing Nandini her appointments diary...Manik nodded and went to his room leaving Nandini disappointed since she expected him to be happy to see her.. Manik went in his room, locked the door and started jumping on the bed bed with joy.. He threw pillows all around and in fact tore some in happiness... "Nandini will be here everyday, I mean every freaking day.. This is awesome.." He said to himself.. "Oh **** I need to get ready.." He panicked and soon he found himself standing in front of his wardrobe thinking what to wear...

Manik Malhotra, the Manik Malhotra was confused as to what to wear.. After much deliberation he decided to wear his Calvin Klein Denim shirt and a Zara printed jeans.. He looked himself in mirror like thousand time to make sure he matched Nandini a girl in a cotton kurti in patiyala...Power of love you see fails even the most fanciest designer wardrobes... Manik rushed to the dining table and found DJ and Nandini already there and gorging on aloo paratha.. Although Manik loved Nandini but he was not ready to accept her eating choices. He settled in for scrambled eggs and toast.. All through the breakfast Manik and Nandini kept exchanging glances and as soon as Manik looked at her she would turn red.. DJ noticed everything but pretended to concentrate on the paratha.. Soon it was the time to leave for the college and Manik couldn't be more happy as Nandini would be driving with him... This day couldn't get any better he thought as he started his Merc with DJ next to him and Nandini in the back seat...

Awesome..loved both the chapters..maniks restlessness in meeting her before dhruv was cute..and I'm smiling along with them while reading their messages..can imagine fab 4 expressions when he laughed out heartily..all r dumbos except for cabir as they didn't realise the reason that he is in love..just love cabir and DJ team and her plan..now nandini will be there in maniks house daily..monster will get crazy in happiness when he will come to know it..u are an amazing writer..please continue soon and thanku for the pm :)

i read all chapters in a go...!!! this is fantastic...brilliant work...!!! loving ladoo/draculla...his nandini...cabir and most specially DJ...all these characters now took an important place in my heart...thanks a lot for writing such a beautiful love story of stars and fireflies...!!!
