Days passed just like that by caring for her, by knowing each other much more, by being besties. It's been ten days since they first saw each other, when he had made her to accept his condition of thirty days without knowing that slowly these thirty days will change everything because destiny wants that.
It's still a dream
Like a film on screen
Miracle to her
That changed her
Had turned her life
Completely upside down
Who had thought?
Someone will come
Like a wind
Just to change everything
To make her live
To make her feel fresh
I was writing sub consciously on a piece of paper when someone behind me snatched that paper.
"Manik give me that back"
"What do u think I will give it back huh???"
"U'll give it back na. Hai na manik?" I said pleadingly.
"Sorry babes, m not gonna give it back."
"Manik u know na that I can kill you for this"
"Threatening me??? It's not going to work in my case OK n first catch me then we will see who'll kill whom? So 1...2...3 go... Catch me Nandini if u can"
He started running in my room all over jumping sometimes on my bed or other times on my couch n I was chasing him like a mad person.
"You idiot stop it now, give that back to me"
"Nandini Nandini itni jaldi thak gyi huh???"
"M not tired but manikkk..." I replied still chasing him.
"But what Nandini??? N why r u not letting me to read this? Is it that much personal?"
"Listen manik you are not a jerry who was running to save his life and m not a tom who is chasing u okay. Ab pls stop." But he was still jumping here n there not listening to my words.
"So u like tom n jerry?"
"Yes I used to watch that as a child. But why r u asking this? Pls stop it, u idiot"
"Nandini m seriously telling u that I have to go for check-up of my ear yaar. You are shouting so much."
At last I caught his shirt to stop him but he lost his balance n fell on bed making me fell on him too. There was awkward silence between us for quite some time. I tried to pull myself back but I again fell on him.
"Shhh" he hushed me with his finger.
"Listen tum se yeh bhi nahi hoga so better lemme do this ok"
How dare he to say this to me???
"Don't stare at me like this OK m not scared of u so pls.."
Instead of pulling me back that idiot started tickling me.
"Hahahhahahh... Pls ma...nn hahahahha...ik...manik...hhahahah pls...hahahah...stop na"
In defense I started tickling him too.
"Hahahhahhahhha...its...paining..hahahhaahha...Nandini..ahahhahaha listen pls..stop hahahahh"
We were rolling over each other laughing like maniacs still tickling each other.
We stopped when we couldn't take anymore and breathing heavily. We lied on bed closing our eyes for sometime as we both were tired after running n laughing sessions.
"Nandini..u know na no secrets between friends" he said with closed eyes.
"I know but.."
"Something personal is written on it?"
"No...it's just a poem which I just wrote"
"Poem???? I don't think that it is something to hide. So why?"
"M scared of your reaction" I told him the truth n above that I had wrote that sub consciously so m not sure how was it?
"Really??? Let me first read this, then we will see"
He took out the folded paper from his shirt pocket on which I had written those lines n started reading that.
While reading those lines his expressions were changing every second. Sometimes serious other times smiling. I wasn't getting any idea about his opinion on that.
M hell scared of his reaction. What if he would laugh on this?
"Howz this??" I asked him. Why he was taking so much time in reading some lines only?
"Wooohhooo now don't tell me that u r the one who have written this"
"Of course I had written this. You yourself watched me writing this na then why this doubt?"
"Seriously u had written this?"
"So what manik?? Why are u behaving like this"
"So what means what?? Do u have any idea how awesome you write. Just amazing. By the way who is your inspiration for this?"
"My inspiration? Ummm I don't know. I had been writing whatever came to my mind. I wasn't thinking of anything in particular"
"Really no inspiration? OK leave it. Nandini I have a awesome plan."
"N what plan it is?" I asked him.
"What about composing music for this? N then we will sing it together. And I think you should add more lines in this OK."
He said excitedly. He was sooo enthusiastic for doing this that I just nodded in yes.
He hugged me n said thanks to me.
"Nandini now m going back to my house OK so we will meet tomorrow in the morning. You can see my condition from office I directly came to meet you so have to freshen up so bye"
"Bye manik."
I sat on my couch n closed my eyes. While my mind led me here n there. My inspiration... I think I know who is it?
The one who was now everything to me. The one who knew me much better, the one who was my only family, my only friend, my only caretaker and ya only my cook. The one who was changing me day by day, transforming me into a complete different person. The only good thing that ever happened to me was MANIK.
I didn't have any idea if anyone would believe me that in just ten days this much had happened to me.
From that suicide attempt to today's tom n jerry show.
From that saddist Nandini to this ever stronger Nandini.
From that no one phase to this I have manik phase.
So much had happened...
I didn't knew if anyone can fell in love in ten days or not but I think... I fell... I fell in love with Manik.
SO THIS RELATIONSHIP IS SHIFTING FROM FRIENDSHIP PHASE TO LOVE PHASE.BUT STILL THERE IS MUCH TO COME...SO WAIT FOR THAT
I HOPE U STILL REMEMBER THAT 30 DAYS CONDITION. FROM THAT THIRTY DAYS, ONLY TWENTY DAYS ARE LEFT.
AND THESE DAYS CAN BE HELL, CAN BE A HEAVEN TOO FOR U, FOR ME AND FOR THEM.
