Chapter 8 (Part 1)
Manik woke up early morning and slowly he went outside he saw abhi is still in deep sleep. So,slowly without making any noise he went to Nandini room and saw she was sleeping like baby hugging her teddy bear. He checked the fever but looks like she is recovering now.He kissed her forehead and then come back to room and text her "Good morning baby,I love you."Manik was just laying down in bed and thinking what is she hiding that she is suffering so much and not telling them.But them he thought about cabir words and let Nandini take her Time.After some time he went to kitchen to make tea for her when suddenly abhi said from behind "She likes coffee in the morning" and when she is sick she will take orange juice.Manik was not expecting abhi and hot advice from him regarding Nandini as it wa clearly shown on his face how much he was shocked and frustrated when he saw manik and cabir in house last evening.Manik said "morning and thank you."Then abhi said "See manik honestly I don't like you a lot because your playboy looks and your flirt nature but right now the girl with whom you are is my best friend or little baby sister and I am too protective for her.She already got so much of sorrows,cry,pain and broken heart in her life .Navya and I have seen her in her worst and best part of life.When navya told me you guys love each other I was not happy at all because I don't want her to be again broken by some boy.But last night I saw tension on your face and I know in morning when you visit to her room.I am not saying that yeah now I like you ,you are worth her or I can trust you with her life and heart but I can say that if I am giving Nandini to you,don't make me regret my decision or I have to think again about your relationship.She might be hard from face but from inside she is that little girl with soft heart that just want love.So make sure never ever you make her hurt or cry otherwise you can ask mukti how bad I am and he hugs manik and said "I hope my Nandini is in safe hands".Manik smiled and hugged him back and said "Thank you abhi and you will see the results on Nandini face and in her life."
Nandini was witnessing all this scene from back and to control tears she shouts "morning hug without me,not fair guys.And both of them then carry her in hug also.Then all of them had breakfast and then abhi,manik and cabir leave for Toronto saying them bye and giving Nandini health responsibility to navya and navya was thinking "yeah like she ever listens to me".So, now Nandini just work on weekends as they guys got busy in college so it was not difficult for her to talk with manik and as she is regularly talking with manik so manik is now not thinking about old things that Nandini might be hiding. Abhi has texted the guy to stop looking for manik information as he wants to give him one chance.
One evening when manik and Nandini were talking so she asked him "So,manik whats the plan for birthday.Manik replied casually "Havent think it,I want to be with you on birthday so we are planning to come but our all cars are in service so don't know what we gonna do."Nandini smiled at this that he wants to spend his birthday with her.She asked "So,what do you want on your birthday"? Manik said "you".She smiled and to tease him she said "that, impossible. I easily get bored with one boy .So,cant be forever with you."And she bited her lip and wait for manik reaction.Manik was silent on other side and said "Nandini don't joke with me like this ever again.You know I can't live without you.I know I did a mistake in past but now I just love you.I never think or talk with any girl.The day you will leave I will not survive the next day."Nandini was like "Manik it was just a joke,I am not going anywhere."
Next 2 weeks gone like a wind.Its only 5 days left in manik birthday.So, Nandini got paycheque her first paycheque from job and she was so excited that even navya can see her jumping her here and there in house.She got bruises on her hands and her feet was sore while standing continuously but all what she done was worth it.So,both of them went to apple store and she alrEady has choosen the gift,So he brought ipad in white color for the love of her life.She was so happy when she spend her money on that.Then in night she packed it and keep it in bag with one letter in the bag.In letter she has written date and day when they met first in party and when he let her cry on his shoulder,When they start talking online and ho wtheir relationship grows stronger,when they were separate for on emonth and she penned down her feelings she suffered.And then how he come back and then their relationship blooms like flower.And today date when they shared a healthy relationship. At the end were the lines she wrote"I was not looking for someone who has everything, but someone who has time to spend with me more than anything.You make me forget about everything I already have been though.Let me tell you I am not perfect girl,I will annoy you,piss you off,say stupid stuff and then I will be sad for all that but all that aside I will always love you . So, my boyfriend I want you to love me without restriction,trust me without doubt,want me without demand and accept me for who I am.I will never let you fall.I will stand up with you forever.I will be there for you through it all.I love you and I will always love you.Happy birthday baby."
At the back of paper she wrote down"I hope you like my gift,I am sorry I lied to you but no option was left.This gift was all from my hardwork,my money,my love.So, now open it and don't get mad and love me always and yeah it's your birthday so no fight. And she adjusted paper on middle.And she keep the gift safe and went to sleep.
2 days just pass keeping both of them busy in college.It was midnight and Nandini was still awake as she has to wish manik.Exactly at 12 she called manik.Manik was on phone with his mom,he saw Nandini calling so he put his mom on hold and speak to Nandini.Nandini and navya sings in phone "Happy birthday to you,happy birthday to you."Manik was smiling when he was listening to Nandini baby voice.He replied "Thank you".Then navy bid good night to them.Manik told Nandini that he is talking with mom and he is going to make conference call so se gonna talk with his mom.Nandini said no she don't know what to talk.So manik said "Okay you will keep quiet then and can listen to our talk.Manik puts the call on conference and his mom was asking about college.He knows that Nandini is on other line so to tease her he said "Mom you know right I itold you about girl who is my friend and she is so arrogant and fights a lot and yeah stubborn.Nandini was listening and thinking "Ahh so I am all this,ok cut the call and then I will tell you later.Manik mom said "Manik don't say like to this any girl.respect them and said "Looks like you both are close friends".Nandini and manik smiled at this.Then manik mom cuts the call.Then Nandini start "Ohh so I am arrogant,stubborn then why you are talking to me."MANIK was expecting this reaction and he said "because I want to be love of this stubborn girl". Manik was talking to her and reached home and as soon he enters all others were there with cake and starts shouting "Happy birthday to him."Nandini cuts the phone from other side because she knows he gonna be busy for while.She texted him "Happy birthday baby. Sleep well. See you tomorrow. I love you."
Next morning she woke up the call of manik "Morning baby".She smiled at his sleepy voice and said "I love you".Manik said "We are coming today but you will college first as we are coming in evening."And he cuts the phone and Nandini was excited to meet him so he put her favorite dress on on,do her hair and happily attend college.Otherside manik went to shop to buy some gift for Nandini.And Nandini has already arranged surprise for manik .Suddenly late afternnon she got text from manik "Sorry baby our car broke down,we are struck in middle.May be we gonna be reaching their late night."Nandini got mad at this and replied "Fine, do whatever you want to do."And then her mood was off.Then after college she just help navya in dinner. When suddenly their doorbell rings and navya open it and shouts "Cabir you really miss me. And both of them hug each other."Nandini rushes to door and stop at door and cabir joke her "meet me first then I will let you to meet him." 😉😉Nandini hugs him and asked where is he.?Cabir signs down and side downstairs on phone.
Nandini runs to downstairs and hugs him so tightly that he was shocked and he drop his phone on floor and hugs her back.
