~Meeting him , a fate game , an unexcepted turn in my life ~ Manik as a Stranger
Today I don feel like doing anything !
I just wanna lay in my bed !
Got to mood to pick up the phone
So leave a message at the tone
Cause today I swear I m not doing anything !
Bruno Mars was singing out my wish and the plan of the day . But only if life was that simple ! Uff ! I had already planned that I would just linger around my flat today doing nothing but watching some movie and then maybe order some fast food ! Only had planned not m actually doing it.
Oh by the ways I said so much but sorry I forgot to introduce myself ! I m Nandini Murthy . A South Indian living in Mumbai to make up my career .
Talking about making my career , let me say my career and my passion , Music ! And I m on my way to build the dream of my father of me becoming a great classical singer into reality .
So right as we were talking earlier ! Today! yes ! Today is Sunday and I have a holiday and had a perfect plan to spend my day off . But then my idiot half crazy bestie Cabir called and gave me this work . He had some interview to take and as he was sick and lying somewhere *ugh ! * he requested me to take the interview . Not actually request though !
At first I did not say yes but then he was like so pleading that I finally agreed *oh all lies the real thing is that when I heard the celebrity I was to interview then only I agreed . It was none other then Manik Malhotra ! Oh my dream guy ! He is a cute singer and yes of course famous and very rich ! Every girl goes flat on him ! So do u think I would reject him ? Even if it was to reject a whole day for myself I was ready to go on interview * so I was like "just bring it on boy ! "
That's how I ended up spoiling my perfect Sunday plan into something more exciting and fun ! And now I m here nervous *sweating* and shaking and shivering *of course I m also bitting nails * sitting in the cab waiting to reach the door of my love !

I reached the place , his studio . "Malhotra studios" was written on the board . Oh how I love the surname already. ;)
A lady escorted me inside . She was well dressed with a tight black skirt and a blue shirt . Looking at her dress I remembered the one I was wearing . Nothing special *haha I m joking it is totally special! it took three hours to chose this dress *
I was in one of my best dressed days . I m wearing a long pink floral skirt and a white tank top with a small half pink waist coat . I had tied my hair in one single shot and was wearing a matching earring . To add to the beauty I had a pink shawl over my shoulders .
If chacha was here then he would have said that I m looking like a fairy ! He would happy to know that I finally got to meet the person of whose I would read interviews for hours and hours and listen to his voice reapeted . *sorry correction , whose interview I would read repeatedly and of whose voice I did not mind to listen for hours and hours *

I sat in a red couch waiting for him to come . Aja aja main hu pyaar tera , the song played in my mind . I guess I waited for half and hour and then started to feel bored and kept yawning .
I was fidgeting with my shawl as the door spammed opened . In a hurry I got up from the red velvet couch and adjusted myself .
I looked up at the most mesmerising sight and the person I had always wished to meet .
A young man of 24 came in walking stylishly . He had worn a red shirt , white coat and vans in his feet ^yes ,yes I even noticed his shoes ^ simple yet so sexy with dark black shades . He walked in confidently companied by two huge men wearing black suit and their eyes were hidden under black glasses .
He looked around and turned his head at me ! Oh god he was looking at me ! Manik Malhotra ! The big singing sensation , the man who was always in the cover of teenz magazine , the person who just won his fifthy 'singing teenz national music award ' a week ago , the inspiration of every other teenager who wanted their names in music history , the young top 10 eligible bachelor of India and fantasy of every girl ! He was looking at me ! Me ,a stranger , a normal girl , me a struggling singer , me Nandini Morthy ! Aiyaapa is this a dream ?
His eyes were fixed at me for sometime then he turned away . He signalled the guards to give us some privacy and go out . Oh mere murugan ! I m alone with Manik Malhotra ! This is a dream come true . Just for my heart's sake I pinched myself to make sure this is not a dream but reality .
'What are u doing , standing here ? Go and greet him !'a part of my mind ordered me and listening to that part I hurried towards the man of my dream forgetting that my shawl had stuck to the nail of the small decorative table kept near the couch . The stuck part of the shawl stopped me from moving further and when I moved my step a bit the shawl got freed and somewhat pushed me and then I tripped over a small tea table and losing my balance was left to fall down and touch the floor ! 'I m very down to earth u see ! '
See my perfect dream tuning into a nightmare ! I closed my eyes waiting for my bones to break and worse to come but then two strong arms caught me .
I felt somewhat safe in those arms . A feeling of home , a feeling of security , a feeling of lost love caught me as I lay in those arms . I felt as though I was always welcomed in those arms .
I opened my eyes and saw him . Yes Manik was holding me . I got statued there for sometime . I did not know how to react ...my arms snaked around his silk smooth neck as my eyes looked onto his hidden eyes . His lips was half opened and his expression was an unreadable one . I closed my eyes again not knowing what to do next .
I still was there is his arms feeling just perfect when I felt something in my shoulders and hair . I opened my eyes just to find him still in the same position holding me tight . I looked at him and saw some rose petals in his shoulder and some in his hair . I moved my head slightly and from the corner of my eyes saw some rose petals on my shoulder as well .
Don't tell me that like in every Hindi movie in the first meeting of the hero and heroine flowers were falling ! It is so just filmy and romantic too!
I just stayed there in his arms waiting for more to come ...aiyapaa what's next ? ?
