Dushtu, you know where it all started, from Manik's dare, right? And why did Manik put forth that challenge of Hope vs Hate? Because he was beyond hurt at what he termed as Nandini betraying the trust in their relationship. The majistrate fiasco happened because Nandini got played by Nyonika very easily as it appeared to Manik. Here he was, on the verge of confessing his love to Nandini and laying bare his heart, and then it dawned on him that MaNan's foundations are still shaky and wobbly, not the firm and indestructible tower that he thought it to be. Why? Because while Nandini had given him enough to be confident and sure of her, he hadn't given her enough confidence to be blindly sure of him. The blind faith and confidence was missing which would have made her sure footed when she encountered the likes of Nyonika in her path.

So he is keeping on with her Hope for the concert because in her wish to sing with him to seal their future, he also sees a new and improved foundation for their new beginning. Only when they sing together, their ability to match notes and pitch with each other will shine through and give Nandini the confidence in him which was previously lacking plus faith to both of them to not be afraid of taking their relationship forward.

I hope I made sense. Anyway, that's how I see it

Dushtu- my take to your question will be because Manik said if they survive the concert they can be together. Not realising how seriously Nandini took this challenge. He said to her let's make this challenge easier but she wasn't having any of it, she's got her hopes set on this concert so when she started loose that hope, he realised that this is all or nothing for her. She won his heart again and he couldn't say to her we don't need this concert now because I forgive you because he can't see Nandini LOOSE! He wants this to be her win, so he's carrying on with the challenge.
Do you see everytime he mentions there's hope, that smile on her face? He'll do anything for that. 2 days everything will be official! Like he said no sacrifice, no misunderstanding, nothing. This will be their win. Their new beginning.

They both are pinning all their hope for themselves in this concert because it's just how they equate their relationship with their ability to sing together. Its like how we sometimes treat somethings which we want to achieve in a relationship to make it complete.

Like Manik and Nandini equated and defined Love as Trust, so when Trust was shaken, Manik broke apart.

This time, they are equating their singing together in concert as the sign they need to restore their faith for taking the next step.

In tht scene when Nandu was attempting to kiss Manik...n Manik say tumse nahi hoga...n then d way Nandu replied Hoga na (stammering) n Manik to replied the same way...Okay then...
