Chapter 13

After eighteen years gap.

Nadira : Manan give it to me right now.

Manan : No let me see what u traffic in your phone.

Nadira : Not ur buisness.

Voice : Stop what the hall are you doing? Not make noise.

They stopped and turns themselves to Mr Manik Malhotra.

Manik : You are not children to tell how to behave.

Manan : I am sorry dad.

Nandini comes slowly to them in armchair : It's ok Manik they just have some fun, we are not in jail.

Manik helps her to sit in sofa.

Manik : It's not that Nandini soon they will celebrate their 18th birthday.

Nandini : I know but forever they will be my babies.

Mini-Manan run to Nandu's arm.

Nadira : We love u mom.

Someone rings the door.

Manik opens it.

Satish : Hi

Manik hugs him.

They step in all.

Nandini : Satish how are you?

Satish : I am fine.

Manan : Hi dude whatsapp?

Satish : Nothing.

Nadira and Satish shares a look.

Nadira goes to her room with the smile while Satish glaring at her.

Manan : What are u looking?

Satish regains his sense : Nothing yaar.

Manan : Lets go for college.

Satish : But Nadira.

Manan : She will come with dad.

Manan takes Satish outside.

Nadira comes down and feeling sad to not see Satish.

Manik : Lets go dool.

She kisses Nandini and steps out.

Manik : I will come back soon.

Nandini : Ok

He pecks her and leaves.

Manan runs to an old man : Give me ur hand uncle I will help you.

Manan helps him.

Old man : Kuch rao beta.

Satish : U are like Nandini.

They enter to the college.

Manik drops his daughter.

She sees a guy insulting a girl by touching her dupatta.

She gives him a punch to him.

Boy turning himself to her : How dare you to touch me?

Nadira : I am the only one daughter of Mr Manik Malhotra.

Boy : So what?

He holds her hand and tries to touch her waist. But someone stops him. It's Manan.

Manan : Are u out of ur mind to touch my sister?

Manan pushes him and starts to beat him with Satish. Nadira has tears.

The boys runs.

Satish approaches Nadira : Please don't cry.

Manan: Hey pagli why you are crying? Only I have the right to make you cry.

Manan hugs Nadira.

He takes her inside the college. They looks Moksha coming to them.

Moksha pushes Manan and hugs Nadira.

Moksha : Are u ok now?

Manan : Why u push me?

Moksha : Havaz neeche karo.

Moksha goes away with Nadira. While Manan is anger on her.
