He was confident of her even when she said that they can't be together, reason why he took the risk and flirted with Soha- JUST to make her say what he wants to hear.

He is confident of her no doubt, that's why he didn't move a muscle when DhruNi hugged in front of him, whereas there was a time when he went batshit crazy just seeing her smile at him. 😆
