Day 24 & 25! - Questions and Answers!
Have you ever loved anyone so much that you fear the thought of seeing fear in their eyes? Have you ever adored someone to such an extent that you find it utmost necessary that they never lose any battle in life? Have you ever cared for someone so much that the one thought which keeps you distracted the whole day is that you don't ever want them losing confidence in themselves? He has.
When he has cried, she has wiped. When he has bled, she has bandaged. When he has screamed, she has listened. When he has held her, she has tightened the grip. When he has begged for forgiveness, she has forgiven him.
For when he has loved...she has loved.
Mar Jaiyan...Tere bin Mar Jaiyan...
Mar Jaiyan Tere bin Mar Jaiyan re...
It originally begun with the adamancy of the mind to resist. To resist her presence. To resist her touch. To resist her words. To resist her eyes. But most importantly, to resist the heart.
Then entered fear. Fear was quite a cupid in their story. He made his appearance when the expulsion was announced. Then he again spoke up when Panditji's character entered the frame. Fear let out yet another bellowing voice when things started to get a little fishy in regards to this guru of theirs. Calm, disciplined, a perfectionist he seemed. But dark, mysterious and an uncanny sort of bloke he surfaced to be. His eerie nature still remains and hence fear is still hanging in there. Fear hasn't departed from their consciousness yet. And nor does it plan to until a complete defeat the mind doesn't accept.
Some short while after, hope intruded his bubble of supposed hatred. Mind you, hope; she was quite a large, vibrant and utterly brilliant personality. Whilst she originally latched herself onto Manik's soul, her radiance and aura wore off onto Nandini too. And the beauty of her character was that Manik never really consiously realised when Hope became such an integral part of his day-to-day life and with what ease she teleported herself into Nandini's life too. Days prgressed, time ticked away and soon he could envision the need of this hope to remain in their lives. He didn't realise, but Nandini's hope had started to fascinate him, to lure him closer to her. He started believing that hope was the most truthful of all personas. That her hope was someone he could blindly trust. However, what he had failed to acknowledge was that this hope, which seemed to be her biggest motivation drive and support system nowadays, actually originally belonged to him. Hope had initially stepped into the picture for Manik. She had known her need in his life was beyond necessary. And boy has she shown magic.
Many great characters had the opportunity to portray their talents amongst the stresses and gloomy moments of this love story. Positivity. She was truly an angel. She managed to sprinkle a few smiles here and there, a couple of laughing echoes, and not to forget she joined hands with hope and wished her all the best in the remaining journey of their realisation.
Sarcasm. He was a clever bloke too. Lightening up the rather tensed, distressed and defeated atmosphere around the two love birds. He snapped his magical fingers and all the fear, dreariness, confused silence and doubtful thoughts disappeared.
But the real star was hope. She was Manik's shining star and Nandini's firefly. Hope was their guide. Their mentor. Their messiah. She didn't only teach them both how to fight for each other individually. She taught them how to battle it out together and win against all the possible odds. She taught them how to dream even amidst broad daylight. She taught them how to deepen the essence of trust they had for each other. She taught them the need of a true friend, a true companion, a true lover in life. When they had decided to unwind hands and tread onto different paths of life, she taught them the importance of pacing an unknown road together, hand-in-hand.
And here the two souls stand. Smiling, confident and aware of their mutual need of each other. Blessed by hope. soaked in positivity. Patiently waiting for the outcome of this already-won challenge.
"But tonight... I feel that hope is going to get victory. Very soon"
Hope has already gained permanent residency in their hearts. She has abandoned the thought of ever leaving their morality. Fusion concert is just an opportunity for chance to shine. To show off. You see chance was quite jealous that hope was getting all the intention. That hope was being praised for her selfless efforts in helping the two lovers realise many feelings, emotions and essential teachings of life.
Chance wants to experience the height of popularity too. He wants to be the cherry on this already-completed cake. He wants his share of popularity too where he can claim ever so enthusiastically that he was the end of this challenge where this love story re-begun. That he was the welcoming light at the end of the tunnel which signified Manan's homely return.
So whilst hope has already clean-bowled all the oppositions from the mind's team, chance has been promised a role too. Chance is the ultimate referee here who will announce hope's invincible victory. This fusion concert will be the night for chance to shine and portray his skills. Chance and hope will both take true love to victory.
The road of friendships has also had to experience some damage. A family of friends was broken. A brother accused another brother of selfish intentions. A buddy's trust in relationships, in true love, in hope has been shattered. True friendship is burning in the heat of someone's fire of insecurities.
But as they say, when one relationship weakens the heart, a second relationship becomes the pillar of support. Just when he had thought his brother had left him forever, just when he was confident that no longer would he be able to call his best friend his buddy, hope pushed true love into his arms. She cried with him. She fought with him. She soothed the aching heart with her affection-filled words.
And now he stands more confident than ever. All thanks to our angle; hope. Hope sent his true love to him when he needed Nandini the most. And today he is hopeful for the return of his heartbroken brother. He knows he can trust hope. Because hope is Nandini's best friend and Nandini is his trust.
"Dhruv mera dost hai. So I know, he will come around...very soon. Very soon qyun? Concert se pehle... who knows.."
Speaking of confidence, he's been quite a funny fellow himself. Taking turns to showcase his ability with both of the love-birds. When one starts to fear again, doubts themselves again, the other one pushes confidence to go and glitter some of its magic upon the other one. Nandini had feared her performance today. She was doubtful of her capabilities. But only until Manik didn't show up with confidence on her terrace. As they sung their hearts out that night, confidence sneakily flowed from Mani's heart to Nandini's and all the doubts were erased.
So many emotions. So many characteristics. All holding the same belief. All wanting to achieve the same goal. All here with a mutual intention. To make Manik Nandini's and make Nandini Manik's.
Finding each other has been difficult. Finding love for Manan has been tough. Accepting this love has been even more problematic. But for others to accept this love of theirs has been the real challenge. It's not hard to accept an intruder into the family. Especially one you've never liked before. Especially one who's never liked you at some point.
You see Fab 5 is not five, but rather one. They are the five fingers which make up a fist. And this fist is unbreakable, these fingers are inseparable. When one member of their family was captured behind bars, they felt angry. They felt violated. They felt as if someone had challenged their unity. And so a few of them could no longer stand the idea of having the person who was responsible for this separation, become a part of their lives. They held Nandini responsible. Why? Because they were possessive about their family's unity. They were selfish when it came to the happiness of their family members. They saw Manik in pain, and they snapped. It was a natural instinct. To protect their friend, to protect his heart.
But now all misconceptions have been cleared. Now no cloud of anxiety remains.
"Your campaign is on. Congratulations!" Initially only he believed in her hope. But today they all trust her. Her love, her friendship, her truthfulness.
New rights were voiced, new friendships were made. Whilst their love for each other may be old, a new base today their love has laid.
The very first question of the episode remains unanswered however. And so does the last question. And many more throughout the episode. Why? Let's take a closer glance.
First question of the day: "Aaah hope?" His tone said it all. Hope was being cheeky. He was teasing her. She may have been too tensed to realise it, but for him hope had won another phase. Her concert was still on. Them singing together was still a possibility. Hope wasn't planning on leaving them mid-road. She was going to hang on until they reached their final destination.
Each other.
His eyes sparkling with happiness. She walked away, but he dare remove his eyes off her. Why? He adored her for all her efforts. His eyes were pouring out the trust and admiration his heart was feeling at that moment. The way fear fills her, when her confidence wavers for even a moment. The way she hopelessly claims that he is the reason for her lack of focus. The way she decides to reject talking about the whole idea of this fusion concert because she can't even bear the thought of not being able to sing with him. Her fear, her doubts, her frown. It screams her love for him. It reassures him that her ultimate goal is his love. That her fight at every step of life, will always be for him. He let her go because he knew that her fear was baseless. She was going to return to him very soon. She would be his forever very soon.
Second question of the day: "Manik, you always see girls dressed up like this. Toh phir tum aise kyun react kar rahe ho?" Because they're not his girl Nandini. You're his girl. His eyes widened enormously at his first sight of her. But they shied away the next second too. He wanted to absorb every inch of her from head too, but he just couldn't He just wouldn't Why not? We know he's possessive of her. We know he reacts impulsively when any unfaithful pair of eyes set eyes on her. He's always on the run to protect her. To hide her from the evil shadows lurking around. His dislike for panditji is justified for this reason, Panditji's intentions don't seem promising. His eyes carry hidden secrets and motifs. He's not only dared to set eyes on the wrong girl, but the way he gazes at her seems too unpleasant for Manik's liking. So when today his girl stood in front of him in a new avatar, why did his eyes gaze out from time to time? He wanted to protect her from his own sight. He wanted to ensure she felt comfortable in her own skin. He wanted to respect her physique. His eyes, shying away from her sight. Confused as to whether to stare at her or hide away. Time after time he's proven his love for her is real. It's not any infatuation. He respects her dignity just as much as he respects her decisions. And today he wanted to protect that dignity. I bet his heart even asked him whether he's allowed to gasp at her flawlessness. Whether he's allowed to drool at her beauty. She looked stunning no doubt. He even confessed what his heart had wanted to say the minute she had stepped in front of him. "You...are...looking...hot. Ya!" But his heart was fluttering like never before. He remained cautious with his gestures. He made sure no line was crossed. He made sure no rule was broken. His love is love. Not an attraction.
Third question of the day: "Tumne joh plan share kiya tha, toh I thought you won't be comfortable somehow...but?"
"I told you... I'll pull it off"
Why? Why could she pull it off? Why did she pull it off?
Nandini's always supported the truth. She's a strong-headed character who's always sided with righteousness. A heart so pure. So greedless. So honest. So corrupt-free.
And when it comes to her friends, her love. Her intentions become more confident. Her need to fight becomes more assured. Her campaign. Their campaign. She needed for it to be successful. Yes. She wanted to fight with the mentality of this society. Yes, She wanted to gain back Mukti's self-respect. Yes. It's true that her fight, her battle with evil, with unjust is a part of her. It shapes the individual she is. But today her fight was filled with more confidence than usual. There was a stronger sense of assurity for victory.
Her fight wasn't just for herself. Her fight was for Mukti. For Navya. For Aliya. For every girl in this world. But more than anything, her fight was for Manik. She understood the importance of a girl's self-respect. Her need to feel safe in this world. Her right to be able to live with the same freedom as men. But she also realised how important it was to fight for his friend's self-respect. Fight for his friend's right of freedom. Fight for his friend's need to roam around safely. She wanted to fight this battle for all the girls out there. But she wanted to win this war for his best friend. Mukti. A soul who had lost all hope. All essence of positivity. All spirit of confidence.
And he? He knew it all. He was aware of her every move. Aware of her every intention. Aware of her care-filled nature. And he trusted her. He trusted her to fight and protect his family, just as she always protects him. He trusted her to strengthen his trust in her. He trusted her to not let his hope for his friend falter.
Fourth question of the day: "Manik...bahut proud feel kar rahe hai na tu?" The eyes... that small yet relieved smile. That content feeling of life. He's nearly home. His life is almost complete. Proud? He was beyond proud. His feeling somewhat duplicated the feeling of being honoured. Honoured to have fallen in love with such a girl. He was proud of his little shining star for fighting so fearlessly. Proud of her courage, her decision of raising a voice. Proud of her bravery act of wearing an attire which was totally out of her comfort zone. Today's smile was more content than any other smile of his. He can go to any extent to fight for his love, his friends. Everyone knows. But today, his better half proved that his fight was her fight too. His friends were her friends too. If they are his weakness, she is his strength who will always fight for his weakness. They are just as much as a part of her as they are of his. Why? Because he is a part of her. "Aur agar mai tumhe samaj sakti hoon, toh mai use bhi samaj sakti hoon." He's the every thought in the thoughtful mind. He's the every heartbeat of her heart. He breathes in her every breath. He lives in her. So understanding him is like understanding herself.
Fifth question of the day: "Manik...what's wrong with you? Tu aise kyun behave kar raha hai? Have I forgiven her?" Three questions. One Answer. Nandini! Nandini has happened to you manik. Yes, you've forgiven her and so you're behaving like this. Or shall I say you had never really withdrawn from her in the first place?
He stands confused today. Overwhelmed by all the overflowing emotions being experienced by the heart. A sense of fulfilment. A sense of completeness. A sense of admiration. A sense of joyfulness. A sense of passion. A sense of relief. A sense of desire. A sense of need. The emotion of love! When did this happen? The mind is scolding. It's trying to re-inherit the seed of doubt. But it's a little too late. He has passed all hurdles laid out by the mind. The last lap of this race remains and the heart has an advantage. Nandini is navigating it. Her hope is showing the direction. Her confidence is shining the light ahead. Answers are.
The episode had started with a question and it ended on one too. Little did he realise that the question at the start was in fact the answer in the last. "Hope."
He never realised when his hope became her hope. He always considered that her hope was in fact his hope. Little did he recognise that he wanted to keep hope alive and burning and so this challenge was founded.
He never realised when her positivity wore off to him. And it's wore off in such a way that she may once in a while lost confidence, let go of positivity. But he? He doesn't plan to give up anytime soon.
He never realised that in the fight of staying keeping her out of his mind, she made a cosy place for herself, deeper in his heart.
The questions have just started. Answers will remain pending until the night doesn't arrive. It will be no ordinary night. It will be a magical night. Nights are meant to be dark, but this dark will be shining like his stars and glowing like her fireflies.
