Your back. You were missed ok? Stupid blackout had to come at the wrong time! Your back, that's all that matters. How can one be upset with you when you write as beautiful as this ❤️

So my heads all over the place so excuse me if my writings not up to scratch. Feeling a little disconnected from the show, everything be over powering what we want see and it's not fair. However your post gave me some of my feels back and I remembered how much I love them 😆

Yesterday's epi was awesome for a Monday episode! The fight was so good, I love girl power. Of course nothing is better then protective Manik. As mad as he was and was fully into beating rocky as soon as he saw his girl in danger he was there! Ufff. "Don't stop me" "Maine Kab Bola" hahaha she never surprises him.

Cabir is pure love. He purposely calls Nandini back so she has to sit in the front seat, he knows them too well. I loved how he apologies on Mukti's behalf, impatiently waiting for the day when Manik sticks up for Nandini and doesn't allow anyone to speak to her like that!!

"Look look ke liye saari raat nahi hai humare pas" 🤣 I laughed way too much after this line. Nandini's gussa face, the slamming of the door and his eye roll was everything. I love these tantrums 😆

So the next scene was nothing but pure bliss. Nothing's better when they just talk. He was angry, she said thank you. When did they become so formal? It hurt that she was being like this with him. The moment her tears fell, his anger disappeared.
She's tired, her hope is running low. How long can she fight this battle on her own. Then it finally hit him how seriously she took this bet. He realised for her this was all or nothing and with that he recharged her hope. Like I said in my previous post she said to him when he looses his way, she'll pick him up, fight his battles which is exactly what he's doing for her now. Picking her back up, fighting the battle. He can't break her heart again, he can't tell her that she's already won, her hope has won. So now he'll play the game with her and make her find a way to fight back again. "It's not over until it's over Nandini" with those words her hope was re-lightened.

Your paragraph on the apologies was beautiful Such a lovely touch!

So he has a plan, which is most likely to fail. He needs a jhatka to realise the importance of Nandini! What she means to him and why she's the most important person in his life. I'm tired too Manik, when are you going to give her the reassurance of what she is to you, why she's your top priority. Make it soon ok because we need it, she needs it.

Ok so this was more of a rant then analysis so I apologies twinkle 😔
Looking forward to reading your take on today's episode.
I've got to mention though my favourite moment was when he went to punch the reporter but he caught her eye and he saw her face. He saw her scared, he stopped. What she thinks, matters. Her opinion matters, she matters. Ah such love!!! Progress like this is everything.

Ok I'll stop now.
I'll wait for your post
Love

It's a timeless emotion. It's a boundless emotion. Love... it's an endless experience.

There never was a time when love didn't exist. There never will be a time when love won't exist. Yet they are afraid of the ticking clock.

Tearful eyes begging him to let her experience this emotion. Fearful heart, dreading this opportunity that time may never return. He had wavered the flame of confidence a few days ago; today he shielded the flame from blowing out completely. Once again it stands tall and fearless... afraid of no destructive breeze. Never will there be a time when the lamp will blowout. Never will there be a day when their hope will stop burning. It will continue to burn... and burn...and burn.

She has nothing to fear. She has nothing to lose. He's already lost himself completely to her. He's actually lost this battle long time ago.

"Thankyou!"

A thankyou? Wait wait wait! He wasn't informed of this. We've been lovers. We've been friends. Now what relationship must we taken upon he questions the heart! Psssht! Never mind! We're still supposed to be fighting!

No but seriously?? Is she serious?!! There's no relationship left for them to trial. He had once agreed on becoming "friends" for her accordance. But not this again! They were no strangers...not friends...more than friends. Much much more than friends.

Love is painful, yet divine. You need to witness the rainfall, in order to appreciate the sunshine. You need to let out the tears to welcome the smiling shine.

Her exhausted heart.. Finally wept out its cry. She couldn't do it anymore. Just no more. It was all over...before it even started.

Wait..No! This is going all wrong! It's all falling apart, he thought! Her Manik had thought they were still fighting. What happened to his soldier today?? She could scream and shout, pull and push but cry?? This wasn't his Nandini. He realized his blunder. He realized his loss. He had crushed her determined hope. He had once again pained the heart for it to cry those priceless tears. His soul, mind and heart... all questioned him the same. Manik Malhotra... How could you be so blind and oblivious?? Manik Malhotra ... How could you be so helpless and careless??

He had been warned. She had warned him herself. The fury, the anger the questions... they all were the signs of the breaking heart. Once completely shattered, the eyes were bound to weep. Fighting had just gotten difficult. Fighting with him was still bearable... yet fighting with herself had taken an unbearable turn. However, fighting for him still remained her unchangeable goal. She wanted him for herself. She needed him for herself. Selfish may be her love today... But selfless love she wanted to shower upon him.

Her tears... They spoke her desperation. Her sobs... they spoke her false consolation. Her cries... they spoke the lonely heart's pleas. Her sniffles... they spoke her understanding of him.
She never wished to take away from him his brother, his friends, his family. She only hoped to make a little space for herself amongst them. She only wished to not be disowned from his heart. A little love, a little care, a little trust is all she craved. And in return she promised him all her trust, all her trust, all her life.

But he wasn't so ruthless. Nor so sacrificing. Long gone are the days when his feelings for her were nameless. Long gone are the days when his love for her could be shared. Long gone are the days when their needs for each other were still doubtful.

This monsterous facade, this fusion concert, this challenge. It was never a test of her love. It was a test of his hatred. To what extent he could pull off this act. And in every way, it was all over, before he had a chance to even begin.
She wanted his love but he wanted it for the whole of his life. She craved for her hope to win but he needed for her hope to win. She wished everyday how she could win his trust back and he so fearlessly surrendered every inch of himself to her so there was no need to win anything. He happily lost himself to her.
But he had hurt her. These tears... he was their reason. This frown... he was her culprit. It was unintentional yet that wasn't a good enough excuse. He had simply hoped for the return of his brother, but he didn't mean it at the cost of her. You see he is selfish too. Whilst he might be a tubelight sometimes, he knows better than to repeat his mistakes. This fusion concert, him being replaced...yes it mattered to him but it wouldn't have in anyway affected his hope...her hope. Seeking deeper into that scene last week, we realise what he had meant through this fight with her was that this fusion concert wasn't the decision-maker of their relationship.

When she had asked him "what about us?" There was a little bit of an irrelevance of this question from his side. He had wanted to tell her that their hope would remain unaffected.

But he faltered. He was unable to express. And today, this mistake became the cause of her heartache. But if he had shattered her hope, he would re-heal it too. If he had done the sin of making her cry, he will make her smile too.
So the apologies started.
Apology no. 1: The eyes apologised to the eyes. The fingers soothed out the burning trail left behind by the tears.I'm sorry Nandini... these tears cried because of me. But these will be the last ever to leave your eye. I promise to bring back your smile in the next few minutes.

Apology no. 2: The hands tried reached out to sit her down on his car. She needed to calm down. It was time to put an end to this fight. It was time for her to hear what she had been wanting to. I'm sorry Nandini... I've driven you absolutely mad and furious throughout the hours of the day. You had wanted me to answer your questions but instead silence is what I provided. Now it's time I answer those answers and clear those doubts.

Apology no. 3: Placing his hands on either sides of her and leaning in. Running away from him, running to find him. She was tired. But more than that, the bizarre thoughts in her mind had made her exhausted. She deserved a much-needed break!I'm sorry Nandini...I simply just walked away. No reasons provided. No justification given. You even called me to ask of my whereabouts, but I disregarded the concern. Now I'm here. Not going anywhere. And now you're here too, and I don't want you leaving just yet.

Apology no. 4: Let's do some talking! He had some explaining to do.I'm sorry Nandini...I let you down. I walked away when you most needed me. You needed me today and I was too absorbed in my own sorrows, But I swear I didn't mean to hurt you. I didn't mean to say quiet. I didn't mean to make you feel neglected. We need to talk now.

"Dekho...nandini...mai..."

"Manik...tumhe explain karne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai...Dhruv ki khushi tumhare liye kitni important hia. But Manik phir hum...?

Apology no. 5: Let me do the mocking and talking! She was broken. Her hope was fluctuating. Her strength was shattering. Her confidence was wavering. She couldn't just give up like this. He needs her to keep hoping. I'm sorry Nandini... this frown, this essence of loss, this stressed out heart and mind. I know it's my entire fault. I let this uncertainty enter your mind. I allowed for this flame of hope to start flickering. But you can't give up like this. I will go to every extent to make your hope win. I will do all that's possible for you to believe in our hope again. To believe that there is still a chance.

Raised eyebrows, tilted head, a mocking tone; "Haar maan gayi? Itni jaldi?"

You're not allowed to loose Nandini. I won't let you lose. You started hoping because of me. And you will continue hoping till I say so. My hope lies within yours. I live within you. You can never stop fighting for us. You're the strength I've always needed in life. You're the peace I've always craved in life. You're the love I can't afford to lose in this life.

Apology no. 6: Okay let's change plans! No... she can't leave just yet. He hadn't finished yet. She still needed assurance. I'm sorry Nandini... it's been a tough ride with me. I'm not easy to bear, yet you managed to put up with me every single time. I've given you enough tears and now you're tired. Even I'm tired too. I want to come home once and for all as well. So let's make it easier for you...for the both of us. You own everything of mine anyway.

"I had all my hope, on the fusion concert. Aur ab..."

"Aur ab who sara hope haar gaye...Koi hope nahi? Jab ki fusion concert shuru bhi nahi hua?"

"Mere paas koi aur option nahi hai"

No options? Broken hope? No nandini. This fusion concert can't decide our future. That's for you to decide. You can't give up on our hope and that's final. Because more than you, I want to come home now. I want to be back where I belong. With you.

Apology no. 7: Let me have a look at you! She had cried it out and talked it out. Yet no sign this hope was going to revive. So hands reached out to try and read the lines of worry on her face. Hmmm... A clear case of missing Manik Malhotra.I'm sorry Nandini... I've been rather unfair haven't I? Not only your hope but your smile has disappeared too. Amidst fighting for me, you have seemed to lost yourself somewhere. You have every right to fight with me... to fight for me. But not at the risk of losing yourself. Losing your confidence. Losing your peace of mind. You need to stay the way you have always been. My Nandini. Stubborn, impossible, a fighter. Fight for your hope. Fight for your heart. Fight for your right. Nothing can stop you. Not even myself.

"Concert shuru nahi hua aur abhi se keh rahi ho keh options nahi hai?"

Options are in our hands Nandini. If we want to be one, no one can stop us. If you want me back, no one will stop you... not even I.

I'll make it a little more simpler for you. I'll give you the final push for you to reach your destination.

"Your hope... still has a chance to win!"

I don't want this hope shattering Nandini. I don't want this flame from burning out. I don't want my future to be dark. We shall only blow hope's flame out when I finally return to you; my shining star. Then no light will be needed. You and your fireflies will be enough to lighten up my whole world.

As the apologies concluded; a promise, a gift, a reassurance was made.

A peck. A touch. A kiss.

Nandini... your hope is my hope. I need it to win probably even more than you. I'm sorry for all those tear-filled eyes, all those lonely moments, all those harsh words. But the bad days are over now. Everytime you will doubt yourself, I will reassure you. Everytime you will stumble, I will catch you. Everytime you will feel the least important, I will love you. But there is no room for options between us. It's just yes, yes and yes.

And with that kiss, her confident returned like it had never stumbled. Her smile returned like it had never frowned. He was with her; she could now win over this world. Hopes intact, trust as strong as ever, he farewelled her to bring their hope home. And she set out again; to make their hope win, win over this world, bring him back home!

It's renowned as love is in the air. But today it was understanding is in the air.

She was ready to take a step back, understanding Dhruv's value in his life. But he pulled her forward, where she much wanted to be, understanding her fear of losing him.

Losing a loved one tends to leave a scar behind. Some are lucky to have that scar healed, yet some scars remain painful and forever. They understood each other's fears and needs today because they have tasted separation. It's not bitter. It's poison. And when poison spreads through the body, all sense of control is lost.
Poison seems to be spreading rapidly through Mukti too/. It had started with the heart, because that's where the poisonous dagger of loss had stabbed her. But now it's slowly seeping through the brain. Overpowering every thought process, every emotion. She's dying. Bit by bit. A painful death. Love however can be selfish, but not a murderer. She has a need too. As much as she denies of wanting to see him, he's her need right now. Abhi The antidote to her poison. And that letter remains the only forms of his discovery.

Manik may have lost a brother, but his best friend still remains with him. A friend who needs not to hear anything from the horse's mouth, yet understands the root of his worries is Nandini. The friend who time after time, assists him to listen to the heart and for once think about himself rather than his friends. The friend who introduces him to the priorities of his life and makes him realise that they may be a very important part of his life, but Nandini is his life. God bless everyone with such a friend.

Alright guys... so I'm so so so sorry for this delay. My area had a power blackout the whole day and that meant I couldn't watch the episode and write my response. So so so sorry for making you all wait! Gosh i feel horrible. Hopefully this post makes up for it!

Loved your post twinkle.. Another master piece ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Loved everything you said, the way you said.. Just see how haphazard i was when writing about today and how beautifully you expressed it.. And that's why i miss your posts.. So hoping that this blackout thing doesn't happen again 😊 Hope 😆

Today was really a step further in their relation especially from Maanik's side.. In the corridor earlier today nandini had asked him how are they suppose to be together if he isnt in the concert.. He had not expressed that the concert didnt matter at that point.. He was so engrossed in dhruv and his issues he brushed this aside.. But thats where Nandu's resignation came from.. She really didnt know what to make of them anymore.. They both love each other.. She knows that.. He knows that.. But verbalizing and accepting is as important and thats what she needed and didnt get.. So he is really paying for his mistake of putting all the hopes on that challenge.. Making it milestone to decide if hope wins or hatred.. But more than that she needs the validation of importance she holds in his life.. And that despite understanding his need to do right by dhruv.. So she was helpless here.. And maanik verbalizing formality in their words - that hit the weak spot and tears flew.. But as you said, maanik has learnt too.. He might not be able to let go of dhruv and need of that friendship but he isnt ready to let go Nandini too.. Thats an important transition and I loved it.. That scene worked wonders for me.. I loved loved how he is now one fighting for her hope.. Their hope..

And on mukti i already mentioned in my post - she needs to do some growing up.. I cant believe that she just went by herself to that bar and didnt trust her friends..

And i have lots of ranting to do on todays episode.. Nandu in me is resigning too... I need someone to lift my hope too..May be your post will do that so i am going to wait for it like never before.. Fingers crossed and hope you can clarify my hesitation on many things in todays episode.. I need clarity 😃

DAY 22! - You and I = Us!

A fight has been triggered, a war is around the corner and voices are ready to be raised.

Our society. Many norms, many morals have originated from this society. Yet times have changed but the rules remain the same. People have progressed, yet the mind has been left behind.

A groom rejects a dark girl, just because he wants a fair bride.

A boyfriend rubbishes the proposal of a girl with a scar, only because he wishes a spotless face to kiss.

Don't forget... even the moon has dark spots. Yet everyone dreams of capturing its beauty.

That's the reality of our society.

A boy flirts with an innocent girl, "Wow man! He's in!"

A girl approaches a boy for some help with an assignment, "Man how desperate can she be?"

That's the reality of our society.

A mother chooses a traditional, well-educated yet an average-looking girl for her son. "Son, it's not about how she looks from the outside. She has a heart of gold. I'm sure she'll keep you happy."

A mother passes a group of girls hanging out at the nearest caf in their finest dresses. "Just look at the girls of today. No shame whatsoever. If she is like this from the outside, just imagine how she must be from the inside."

As harsh as it seems, that's the reality of our society.

Lucky are those people who find true love in their lives. But luckier are those who find people who can understand them.

Mukti lost that someone. She broke. I know. She blundered. I understand. She messed up. I agree.

But she be judged. I disagree. She be defamed. I oppose. She be dishonoured. I testify.

Who are they to command what we wear and what we don't? Who are they to impose how we sit, walk and eat? Who are they to dare touch our bodies and souls with their dirty hands and then comment they were just protecting us from the stains of society?

"Toh hame sirf mentality se nahi ladna hai. Unki mentality se bhi ladna nahi"

It's a fight which cannot be fought from the hands. It's a fight which must be fought from the words.

The heart and mind will join hands in this war because reputation is stake, a girl's honour is being questioned, the definition of righteousness is being challenged.

Another devil has entered. Another evil is lurking. He's more powerful, more malicious and more sinful.

The power of love and friendship will be tested once again. But a lot they have learnt over the course of the days. Much they will learn whilst fighting this battle.

Fab 5 may have lost one member, but 2 new members have been welcomed on board too. Voluntarily, or involuntarily. But they will support, fight and win. Because it's not about fighting for oneself anymore. It's about fighting for each other.

Manan have lost much, but they have gained more.

Trust was lost somewhere along this journey, but when found, a beautiful mix of trust and hope was formed and it was sealed with a tag of forever'.

Priceless tears were shed during the journey, but they were never left to be shed alone. Together they always shed the tears, and together they smiled their happiness.

A fight between the two is what begun this journey, yet the roads met downtown and no one realised when their fights with each other became their fights for each other.

They repelled each other like alike magnets almost. But ever since the hearts have discovered their bond, they refuse to let go.

Finding love amidst hatred is their story. Learning to trust amongst doubts is their story. Discovering each other within themselves is their story.

Do they complete each other? Absolutely! Do they love each other? Undoubtedly! Does that complete their story? Hell no!

They learned to fight for each other whilst fighting for themselves. Correct! Yet have they learnt to fight together? No... not yet.

They learned to share their love, share their happiness, share the burden of their sorrows. Precisely! But have they learnt to share their dilemmas, guilt and distresses outside of their own bubble? Nope.

They learned to welcome each other into their lives, and make each other a part of each moment of their day. Definitely true! But have they learned to introduce them to their world outside of each other. Have they let each other accept the other's world and people as their own? I don't quite think so.

They are together, yet not exactly one. The have learned to say "we', but haven't started saying 'us'.

But I'm not too worried. They are only steps away from reaching their goal, and these steps will teach them their remaining teachings of love.

This may be a fight for their friend. Mukti. To re-light her vanished hope. But the test of fire will be faced by Manan.

I rewind back to his promise of always protecting her. If protection is given so much importance, then we must fear for the danger that is coming up.

I rewind back to her promise of always fighting his battles when he feels defeated. If his friends are his biggest weakness, I can foresee her becoming his strength in this coming battle.

Our Nandini has once again raised her voice against evil! Her fight for the victory of her rightfulness begins yet again. But this time it's not for herself, it's not for her friends. It's for him...his family...his friends. When she claimed she will fight his battles, she meant she will fight theirs too. When she assured she would always be there for him, she meant she will stand tall and fearless for her friends too.

It's time for his final teaching. He doesn't have to choose between her and them. He doesn't have to choose between love and friendship. He doesn't have to fight their battles alone. He doesn't have to feel the guilt that he couldn't protect the other.

He's already fighting one devil single-handedly, he doesn't have to fight two at the same time.

He'll learn that in love it's not about give me all your sorrows. Give me all your pain. Let me fight your battles. It's about sharing those worries. Sharing those distressed. It's about "Come, let us fight these battles together."

Mind you, if he's not perfect, she's not flawless either. Infact, it is their imperfections that make them so perfect.

Our Manik knows his Nandini defies his anger every time. She believes his anger can be the death of him someday. But his temper is not something she hates. She acknowledges it's a part of him and yet she has accepted him despite it. His anger is not something she fears either. She just resists the use of this anger, time after time. She disagrees that violence is the solution to every problem. She wants him to understand that fighting with raised hands and clenched fists isn't the most effective way of fighting a battle. A verbal battle and a mind's game can be more destructive.

Think about it, whilst Nandini's words fumbled at the magistrate's office.. I don't see that fault as entirely hers. It wasn't Manik's trust's issue either. It was his anger. That was the real culprit. From day one, she's been well aware of the fiery side of him. In fact, it's one side of him, that she knows the best. His anger compelled her words to falter. His anger was the root of this temporary exile. His anger forced not only her, but Cabir to believe too that he was capable of someone's death.

His anger. She had always warned it would be the cause of his doom someday. And what more of a punishment could he get then be separated from his love just as he realised the existence of that true love.

But this anger, this fury, this dark side. It's his sixth sense.

When he had promised to always protect her, he knew the importance of this promise. He understood the weightage of this responsibility. Her purity, her simplicity, her sincerity is what he had fallen in love with. And as days flew by, time ticked by, he realised that this innocence, this goodness, this honesty was always in the danger of being manipulated. Her virtues and righteousness was her strength. And devils were on a constant look out to use it against her as her weakness.

She considers this whole world to be of people. Some may be bad, some may be better than others. But the truth is, devils reside here too. Whilst she has managed to recognise one with the help of friends, one remains masked.

A Raavan. Panditji.

He returned today. With his selfish intentions of abducting her and taking her with him to London. He bribed her with her grandmother's happiness. Claiming she will be so proud to see Nandini perform.

But the Lakshman rekha awaits him. Her protector, her warrior, her saviour.

"Mai yahan pandit pen azar rakhne ayaa hoon."

And just like the line in the sand was invisible for Ravan, this protector is hidden too. The wardrobe is his invisible cloak.

He will make sure she never crosses that line and falls into his trap. He vows to protect her from this devil till he doesn't return back to his home in hell.

He keeps her engrossed in his sarcastic words and rhetorical questions, but still gets the message across. He doesn't want her becoming fearful. But he wants her to remain cautious of her steps and of the people around her.

"And you haven't noticed? Who kya kya karta hai? Of course! Tum kaise notice karogi? Tum toh dekho gi hi nahi. So sab kuch mai dekhra hoon."

These last steps are crucial for Nandini too. She will be learning her first and last step of trust, honesty and faith.

Faith must be strong, it must be unshakable. But it mustn't be blind.

Trust is good. Trusting people is necessary. Trusting yourself is vital. But trusting other's instincts is just as important as trusting yours. Trusting others to be good because you, yourself are an honest person is an untrustworthy claim.

Being honest is essential. Be honest towards yourself as well as others. But expecting honesty in return shouldn't be the motto of life.

These last steps will be hard for Nandini. Her trust will shatter in many ways. But the road won't be so difficult as her hope would've won by then.

His anger had once been the cause of their separation, but to a great extent that same rage will bring her back to him. His madness, his fire and his insanity to see her protected will save her from the claws of that devil. She will witness the extent he can go to protect her and then there will be a realisation that this fight of hope was just as much of his fight as her fight. She will realise that he is where her trust begins and it is where it ends. She will realise his anger leashes out for her and it also retracts back into him for her.

Today he realised that his violence is not the solution to this problem. So he lowered the clenched fist.

Tomorrow she will realise that his anger is enough to protect her, but it's not enough to kill anyone.

Tomorrow she will realise that his anger is enough to protect her, but it's not enough to kill anyone

Before i get started..i would like to please request a thesaurus because beautiful and perfection don't seem to cut it anymore..like how often can i use them ? lol. Seriously thou, every time i read your analysis, i think, this is her best one yet but everyday you up your game and write even more wonderfully.Take a bow babe ! 👏 This analysis was very well put together, you tied in points of the past..the role his anger and temper has played in the past..how it's all changing very slowly..how Manik is changing slowly for the better. I doubt i will add much to the discussion but my thoughts i will put definitely put here.

Society. What is society? Who has made it ? We the people. The men and women of this world. So who should we point a finger to ? Because obviously someone is at fault here. Oh, it must be the girls, the women ! Women are inferiors even today, all over the world. Inferior, in rights, in freedom, in pay. But one aspect, we triumph the men. In the amount of faults we have ! Because no matter what happens, It's a girl's fault. "bullshit", i say. And the men of the world ! Dominance they crave it. Women surpass them, they can't bear it. Women are learning to be more independent, slowly but surely but men rely on their dominance, we women should need a man to live life; she must be married. Never mind the fact that she takes your name and gives your heirs to keep your generations going. You obviously did her a favour. Never mind the fact that she can stand shoulder to shoulder to you and work and earn. It doesn't matter, she still doesn't get the same pay you do. We women are fighting a losing battle, that's what the mentality of the world is. They will suppress us, make us see the faults we have, use their muscular macho-ness to manhandle us. You won't succeed. Do you hear me ? Because our strength, it lies in our hearts not in our arms. We posses a intellectual mind. We will beat you with our words, with our thoughts, with our voice. You won't succeed. We will prove it, It's Not Us, It's You !

Rocky is not a man, hardly. He is so weak that he needs to bring in politican brother to harass a girl to show his manliness off. How pathetic ! They use their superior strength to manhandle the girls, to hold Alya and Navya back so that kutta could teach Mukti a lesson. You what, it hurt me to see that, i was dying for one of the boys to come save them. But i realized, this is what women and girls go through. They don't have Maniks and Cabirs to fight their battle, they must fight alone. Their fathers and brothers, some may not have them, some may be the same sick mentality. The point is we must be able to defend ourselves, and better yet, maybe the world should be safe enough so women don't have to. The politician stood there, flocked by his men (because he clearly needed all the man power he could get to handle 3 girls) as he taught mukti a lesson, how to dress. He touched her without her permission but it doesn't matter. He was teaching her lesson after all. The reporters recorded every minute because it was a lesson every woman should see and learn. If that's what the culture has taught the men. Then...Shame on the society, shame on the culture, shame on the norms. Shame on the people who promote this. Shame on the people who just stand there and watch it.

MTV and the team have picked up a sensitive issue and any awareness..even 1% of viewers gain any awareness then they have been successful. For me, this campaign #It'sNotUsIt'sYou works. So kudus to the team, i would like to see how the rest of it pans out.

A true man isn't a man who believes he must fight all the battles for his girl. No he believes in equality, they can fight the world together, Manik is learning that and yes, there are not there yet but they shall get there. While he will protect her, like the alpha lion he is when when someone dares to hurt his girls physically. But he knows a woman's strongest power is her mind..her real strength lies in her heart. Manik is that man. Cabir is that man. Dhruv is that man. Men who respect and cherish women. Treat them with the respect they deserve.

Does Manik have the urge to always fight Nandini's battles ? To always protect her ? Of course he does, he loves her after all. But does he give her the freedom she deserves ? to be independent ? Of course he does, he stood by her when Navya's pregnancy and expulsion issue was fought by Nandini. He didn't agree with her, but he stood by her..helped her when she stumbled and applauded the loudest when she succeeded. That's what true patnership is.

Does he foresee the danger she is in with that pandit ? does he have the urge to steal her away and shield her in his arms ? Could he have jumped out the moment her face dipped in ice cold water? Yes, yes and yes. But will he do it ? No but he will protect even if it means he has to hide in the cupboard. I had said, Manik doesn't need to part of Pandit's class to protect his girl. he is Manik Maltorta for pete's sake. He has his ways. And on the side note, the politician is in a rude awakening. he seriously doesn't know who Manik Maltorta is. I seriously whooped when he said, "Off MY Space Premises now !" Atta boy.

Let's touch on the Cupboard moment. He realizes her face is ice cold, she is in discomfort. Worry engulfs him. How does he make it better..in this small space, how does he help her? He shares his body heat, rubs his hands together and transfers the heat. But with that sweet gesture, not only does he warm her body..he warms her heart..her very soul with all the love he has for her. That smile she has, the warm smile she has over his love and concern, absolutely beautiful. I really wanted to see him bury her face in his chest but the way he did..no complaints. He did in his own MM style.

You discussed his anger, his fury and his answer to everything till now: violence and you did it wonderfully..like amazing so i won't add much. Except the instance where Manik Maltorta was like a bull today...all his red hot anger, raging fury, the burning need to smash his fist against flesh, all that gone in an instant. Just with one look at Nandini Murthy and his raised fist lowers. My beautiful moment ! Amidst the chaos of the situation, in the noise of his own anger, he still is so aware of her. One cringe from her, he understands, violence is not the answer here and the fist lowers, the bull is forced to leave his body. Manik Maltorta was not blessed with this control before. But he realizes, his anger, she doesn't like his anger. Violence, she doesn't believe in violence as a answer. Absolutely loved the point where you mention that she accepts his temper, yes, it's part of his persona but his anger, it has the power to consume him and she...she won't let his anger ever win over her love. Her love is stronger than his anger. Her love has healed Manik Maltorta..anger is not the only emotion he feels now.

Okies..i think i am done. I actually quite like this response of mine..lol. And you are utter perfection as always.

As usual amazing post.. This was kind of todays episode for me... I am now going to rant about todays episode.. Except couple of moments, i had lot of issues with todays episode so if you dont want to read negative feedback of the episode and disappoint yourself, recommend not to read next part, but i am going to rant anyways :) But before that i am going to mention best thing of the episode :)

When maanik was ready to hit that reporter, how nandini's presence allowed him to control his anger.. Best moment of the todays show.. He is working on his anger.. Which was his issue .. Thats another step in their relation.. Another area of growth in maanik.. She is protecting her in her own way..

My main problem with the episode was execution.. All the things you said in episode.. They were theoretically there.. I could see their attempt to show everything you mentioned convey but it didnt hit the home-run at all..

So lets start with mukti.. I being human off course believe that everyone has right to wear what they want to wear.. Everyone has right to say no... And everyone has right to fight against the sick mentality that stands against it.. But problem for me with this episode was continuation from yesterday... Yesterday it was all about mukti and her recklessness.. It was Mukti who had decided to take one night stand.. Just like in the past.. This time her luck wasnt with her and she got stuck with cheapo like rocky who started blabbering about it and passing her no. to his friends who in turn started harassing her.. She went to fight against that (and i told you what a stupid move but i let it go as stupidity, impulsiveness and rage of mukti)... So she was fighting for her right to say no and fight against the bullying that was happening there.. But when and how did it come to her dressing style.. Today when reporters started blaming it on that, it seemed so forced that i just couldnt connect with it.. Couldnt identify with the issue.. There was aliya standing by her side.. Why did reporters not talk about her.. Why was she being targeted.. So it seemed so ill scripted.. Now in yesterdays episode there were people who didnt help mukti and girls in the fight blaming it on her dressing.. Now if they had used that and may be gone from there with this whole wear what you want to wear issue i would have got it.. The ill execution just seems like diluting the message that they want to give.. Mukti's behaviour, her attitude, her actions dont help there either.. In general i feel like such a sensitive topic.. it needed better handling.. It needed to be transitioned into itself organically and i felt that missing.. that wasnt case with earlier issues this show dealt with and hence it didnt feel like OTT.. But today it all seemed fake.. And thats the last thing you want to see when handling such a sensitive topic.. the topic they want to touch upon is real issue.. how are viewers suppose to identify with it if it seems so fake and forced in the track.. And i am not going to go into nandini and navya wearing short cloths just for the protest until i see it.. Because for me i am still stuck at identifying with issue itself, so how am i suppose to connect to the way they are dealing with it...

Now the whole maanik hiding in closet and keeping an eye on pandit.. It seemed so well in theory but execution left me with feeling of something missing.. It was made way too comical for me to enjoy and get the jist of it.. Off course love his attempts to save nandini from pandit.. But what about dhruv.. How is hiding in closet and creating diversion going to get dhruv back into fab5 circle, i dont get.. So the whole *ting* moment that maanik had in last moment was lost somewhere... Loved the way maanik talked to nandini and told her he is there to protect her.. And how he instantly jumps to heating her face back after finding out how cold it is.. There was one day when he scolded her for sneezing in his bathroom.. And today first thing he sees is her shievering.. Such a change.. and loved that about it.. I mean being able to remember similar past moment and see change in their relation...

So in short this episode left me with feeling of being cheated.. It felt like they promised so much but delivered so little.. lets see if i can manage to connect with tomorrows episode..

DAY 23!- You have learnt!

Re: First step cleared!

Dear Manik and Nandini. Or so lovingly referred to as Manan...

Yesterday I had put forward some of my thoughts. I had expressed my desires. I had voiced my opinions. I had spoken of my hope.

Hope that you; Manik; would realise that you are no longer alone on this battlefield. That you; Manik; don't have to fight your battles alone. That you; Manik; don't have to take upon the burden of everyone on yourself.

Hope that you; Nandini; would realise that the world isn't necessary filled with humans, devils reside here too. That you; Nandini; will understand that this challenge isn't the basis of your reunion and togetherness. That you; Nandini; will realise that to win this battle may be your want, but it's his necessity.

And here I stand today...My opinions are becoming theories. My desires are being fulfilled. My opinions are being considered. My hope is transforming into reality.

The first step has been cleared! The campaign has begun!

Nandini I saw fear in your eyes today. You have never been so restless with your gestures before. You have never been so unsure of the future before. Your alpha has always managed to protect you from every forthcoming danger. But today you witnessed a wild predator, roaming around freely. His roar has left you beyond terrified. His hungry eyes have left you petrified. You try your best to hold back those shaking sobs. You don't want to fall weak. But your better half sees right through you. And he tells you that it's okay to express your fear.

It's okay to feel shaken. He's there to hide you in himself so no one can even lay their eyes on you. Your tears. They're allowed. He promises to wipe them away every time they escape. Your hands. They're allowed to shake. He promises to hold them in his own and not let you fall apart. Your words. They're allowed to stutter. He promises to read between the broken words and sentences and understand you even in silence.

You learned your first learning today... the first learning of the last set of steps left.

"How could they treat Mukti so horribly? It's like violating someone's...someone's freedom. Who khud kya hai.. who..woh hai kaun? Who's he?"

Some people have no names Nandini. Some have no souls. Some are just inhumane. You can call them creeps or devils or demons. But the truth is they exist. And that too amongst us.

A tragic sight has shaken you today and unfortunately tomorrow an unpredictable and unexpected face will be unmasked. Panditji's true intentions will be revealed. Your faith in your guru will shatter. Your trust in humanity will crumble. Your confidence in yourself will weaken. But I want you to stay strong. If not for yourself, then for him. When you feel your faith is shattering, look into his eyes to re-discover your lost faith. When you feel your trust is crumbling, run into his arms to reunite with his trust in you. When you feel your confidence is faltering, listen and absorb his words which will reassure you that you're the real fighter here.

You've always been his biggest strength. He promises to become your strength too.

You learnt your second learning today too.

Fate...destiny...meant to be?

He doesn't believe in all this. It's all senseless to him. It's all a meaningless phenomenon.

If there is something that has meaning in his life; that's you.

If he believes anything to be true in this world, that's your love for him

If he sees sense in any aspect of his life, that's his love for you

Whilst the first devil had you shaking, another has left you worried.

You're afraid that a bad performance would mean no concert. No concert would mean no hope. No hope would mean no Manilk. And no Manik means an unimaginable life.

But you see Nandini...your love isn't so weak. His love can't be wavered.

You've always had the talent of calming him down in his most furious of times. And today... he has seemed to have adopted that same talent.

Once again you poured out your worries to him. You expressed your fear of losing him. You conveyed your distresses of what you fear what the future may hold for the both of you.

But he... he is beyond confident. He trusts you. He trusts your hope. You had once told him that there is some sort of positivity in every word of life. And he sees nothing but rays of positivity around him. Why? Because you're there to shine for him.

He wants you to experience that same trust. And so he wraps his arm around you. He wants you to realise the positivity lurking around you both, and hence he pulls you closer towards himself. He wants you to nurture that same confidence and so he gets talking.

"What's wrong with you? Huh? Matlab yeh fate... yeh destiny? Tum kya baat karti ho? Aaaj kal pata hai tum kitni, what shit you're talking? You're not making any sense, seriously I'm telling you. Not making any sense."

"Maybe you're rubbing off on me?"

You bet h Is Nandini! Because every time, he sits you down, holds you in his arms, gazes into your eyes and does a heart-to-heart talk, you seem to forget about all your worries. You let go of yourself to him. You let him radiate you with all his positive and confident energy.

He had promised to always catch you whenever you fall. So whenever you fall in doubts, whenever you trip over your own confidence, whenever you stumble on this hopeful path; he fulfills that promise of catching you.

You learnt today that all you just need to do is hope, and he would make sure your hope is fulfilled.

You learnt today that all you need to do is trust him and he would make sure you both return home to each other very soon.

You learnt today that concert or no concert, your hope will surely win.

Why?

"Because...mai haarte hue nahi dekh sakta..."

Manik I saw a much relieved smile on your face today. It was a kind of smile that we see very rarely on your lips. A genuine smile. A content smile. A hope-filled smile.

And mind you, music wasn't the reason. The reason yet again was her. Nandini.

You don't show Manik, but you're tired.

You're tired of all the dramas in your life. You're tired of never having the opportunity to experience a complete, content and satisfied life. A life with both your love and friends. Someone's always on the run to cast an evil eye on your life. But you don't complain. Because they are all your life. You're non-existent without them. It's not about protecting their lives, it's about protecting your own.

And to a great extent you're used to it too. Hence your smile is such a rare sight. And your laugh, we hear it once in a blue moon.

You've been fortunate to have many friends in your life. And mind you, they are all beautiful in their own way. But still you've craved that someone special all your life.

You've craved a companion.

You have friends but you've craved a best friend.

You have a mother, but you've craved a persona who is affection-filled, care-filled.

You've craved light in your dark life.

You've fought many battles for others, but have never had the chance to fight for your own. You've craved someone who will fight for you.

And today, you seemed to have found her.

You had found many hints along the way that perhaps she is the one. That maybe she is that light. That possibly she is that best friend, that companion.

But those doubts have seemed to wash away today, and confirmation has filled the heart and mind.

You smiled because you learnt something today too.

You learned that once your Nandini promises something, she never steps back.

You learnt that when your Nandini claimed she would fight your battles for you, she meant she would not only fight for you but also for those important to you.

You learnt that when your Nandini promised that she would always shine for you, she meant that in the darkest of times, when no way out can be found, she would enlighten you with her hope that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

You learnt that when your Nandini sobbed that "mai tumhare saath hoon", she promised to always share. Always share your tears, your pain, your miseries, your distresses, your battles.

You promised her today when she broke down... "We will fight back!"

And she firmed your confidence too when you seemed to be a little worried by saying ... "We're going to tell them..."

And hence, you smiled.

You learnt that it's okay to smile even amongst worries because no problem is too big when you both join hands.Because it's no longer about you and I, it's about WE.

She shined her light of positivity again. And you absorbed every bit of it.

And later when her heart was worry-filled, you sprinkled a few specs of positivity onto her too.

That's caring. That's sharing. That's love.

When her confidence returned, your hope doubled too.

You learnt that fighting for each other was a good start, but fighting together for each other is even more important.

You learnt that if you expect her to allow you to protect her, you must allow her the chance to share your burdens too.

You learnt that love in fact doubles when you share everything with your partner.

You learnt that you want to be able to share with her all your life.

You learnt that you want to be able to spread positivity together.

You learnt that you want to encourage confidence together.

You learnt that there was never hatred. It was always hope. It was always love.

And you learnt that this hope can't lose.

This love, you can't lose.

Nandini, you can't lose.

The campaign has begun! It's time to fight the society together. It's time to fight this mentality together. It's time to fight for this hope together. It's time to fight for each other together.

Hola my lovely girls! So I just want to post up a little apology here that I haven't had the chance to reply to all of the responses on this thread. I have an exam tomorrow so have been quite busy preparing for that. But posting up my response was a must because I don't want you all waiting to post your own. I've read all of them and trust me I have so much to rant about but I promise tomorrow I will get around on starting with the replies. Hope you all have a lovely day ahead!

( i absoutely love this..and there was no way i couldn't bold this entire bit.

Okies..so like i am finally here..lol. Let's get this show on the road. Okies...firstly superb job on this love letter to Manan..you know them so well..better than they know themselves..and how much wisdom you give 😉 i like i like..definitely a different sort of analysis but like all of them..i enjoyed this one as well.

Such an encounter with a devil..an inhuman person who scars you such, will leave you shaken..the victim or the witness..

Mukti. The victim she is such a strong girl, even when she is feeling weak, she can 'act' strong and the world believes her. But today, she crumbles..crumbles to the ground as her friends try to hold her. She has been violated. Touched without her permission. Been disgraced for being who she wants to be. And she is broken. A girl with a broken heart..and now she has no strength to go on so she crumbles in defeat. But her friends..they won't let her fall apart. They will pick up all her broken pieces, hug her close to absorb her pain..and they will fight ! for her ! for all the girls ! and prove it to the world..it's not us..it's you.

Nandini. The Witness. A girl who is all innocence and goodness. She can't seem to believe the horrors of this world..where only love and goodness of people should exist. She is shocked to see that such monsters, unable to fathom that such inhuman devils exist among them. And she is shaken up. Her voice trembles, her eyes tear up on their accord, her hands shake. And her saviour reaches out and holds her steady. Wipes her tears, becomes her strength and tell her: We will fight back. Manik, if he could he would shield her from all the harshness of the world but he won't. He has seen cruelty, he has known cruelty and as much as his heart breaks that she too is realizing that devils exist among angels. He will let her stand next to him, shoulder to shoulder as they execute her plan.Because he believes in her..he just wants her to be sure. And he is in awe of it. His girl..all shaken up minutes ago now wants to fight back ! and her fighting determination, her courage, all of it leaves him in awe.

They are fighting a campaign, one for social change. But there is another fight to be won..Nandini's hope has been challenged, not by Manik but a disguised devil : Panditji. He threatens to take away her hope..to throw her out of the concert and Manik Maltorta will simply not let it happen ! The day Manik finds out how Pandit has been manhandling his girl..i swear to nandu's ayyiappa, he will kick that Pandit's ass.

He threatens her hope...leaves her sad and upset. And as she feels herself failing..questioning fate and destiny, her soulmate picks up the pieces of shaken hope, hands her a tissue for her tears and listens as she shares her worries with him. He listens determined to find a way to make her smile again. He drapes an arm around her so she can draw on his strength..that moment..the easiness with which Manik pulls Nandini close was my beautiful moment ! It proves that they are already one..already so at ease with each other. The 'i need you' was like their 'i love you', their equation has changed. To need to person to survive goes beyond the love one has for a person..Need is lifelong and Manik and Nandini truly need each other.

Let's leave this one off here..we shall pick up on their hope in the next response. Lovely as always my twinkie bear.
