Okay so this was a case of severe editing issues. They have edited clips to make it sound like nothing is sure. And it made it even more obvious that the episode was shot YESTERDAY. BEFORE Parth posted on Instagram to clear the news.
Written Update -
The hostess is like since a few days there have been rumors that Parth is leaving KY2. But instead of assuming and all, let's go and ask the horse himself.
They show Parth cutting bday cakes and all. And the song in the BG is Alvida and the VO is like KYA PARTH KAHENGE ALVIDA?!
Parth says it's all flase that there has been a fight between me and Niti. We both are very professional and nothing comes between our work.
Then they show him and Niti posing for pictures while VO is going round and round about the same thing. IS HE GOING TO LEAVE!? IS ARJIT GOING TO REPLACE HIM!? BUT ARJIT GAVE NO COMMENT.
Then Niti is shown saying ki people have been blaming me. They are saying that Nandini should leave and not Manik. Yes we are only professional. Which is why our chemistry shows on screen. People need to realize that accusations actually hurt us.
Now the fishy part was that Parth said whatever decisions are taken, are taken by the channel and production. But the way it was cut and edited, it was OBVIOUS it was NOT related to whether he was leaving or no. It was just a general question about story and all I think. And they tried to make it look as if the PRODUCTION HOUSE will decide if he is leaving the show or no. SO RANDOM!
Then Niti said I don't think anyone is leaving the show cause then the whole show will go for a toss. She said that even both of us didn't know that he is leaving. Infact I read it and I asked him Parth you're leaving?! And he also said what? I don't know! And she was laughing also during this time.
So that was it! Just a bad usual case of false edit. In the closing of the video, the two of them were sitting together and posing for pictures and all that.
There is NOTHING to worry about. Because this episode was made BEFORE Parth posted on Instagram. I'm sure tomorrow they'll have another segment saying he isn't leaving.
So I think we can all relax finally. HE IS GOING NO WHERE!!!! If the IG post was NOT there, then there was stuff to worry about. But now he's said it himself. So nothing to worry!
EDIT:
NO WHERE in the interview was HE directly asked if he was quitting or no. It was ALL voice over. Niti said EXACTLY what was in her TC article. So the interview was mainly to clear the fact that Niti isn't the reason for him leaving. Not WHETHER HE IS LEAVING OR NO.
And Parth I guess didn't say anything because he needed to clear it out properly after things get settled. Which he did in today's INSTAGRAM post. Cause actually wrote "SO HERE IS THE THING" in the IG post.
Since SBS was shot yesterday, he couldn't and didn't say anything! Ofcourse the makers are going to think rationally. This news has given them SO much publicity. They had to cash on it. For TRP, everything. And him clearing it out today means 3 FULL days of people ONLY talking about KY2. Now it's all sorted.
