OS after Precap! *UPDATED!* Chapter 2! PG.4!

I felt everything against me. Everything. This was the lowest point I have ever faced. Everything seemed bitter to me. I couldn't collect my thoughts away from Manik. Manik this, manik that. He remained on my mind like that was his home. This boy was the center of my everything. How do I pacify him? How?

" Nandani!" I hear a low voice shouting behind me. I turned around to search, and Pandit was racing towards me, My view was just absurd, I have never seen Pandit in this state...running!? I had a few laughs inside my mind.

" Nandani, I have inquired about your expulsion and you don't need to leave Space anymore. Nyonika has cancelled the pending request and you're free to stay. " Pandit grinned and searched my eyes for a response. I glared at him like Pandit was an alien. This was beyond my imagination. Pandit helping me? I quickly zoned out of my thoughts.

" Thank you Pandit! I never expected this. I'm sorry for my earlier-" My sentence was cut, by Pandit's hands.

" Nandani let's not get formal here. This is strictly for your benefit and mines. Leaving Space would head you far away from music. I have potential in you. Potential I've never seen before in anyone. I want you to be focused on the talent you have. The Fusion concert, is coming up, and this is a perfect opportunity for your talent to be heard. I'm sure you will be able to ace this" Pandit smiled and held out his palms for a handshake. I repeated the gesture and our palms intertwined. I heard heavy footsteps towards my way. My heart beat starting beating rapidly. I sensed Manik. I wanted to break the handshake, but Pandit's hands were heavily secured with mine. I knew manik was watching us. It was few moments before Pandit broke the grasp.

" Okay I'll take your leave now. And remember Nandani avoid every distraction at all costs. Nandani be focused on the veena. " Pandit warned me with his eyes glaring at Manik in the corridor. I felt all the blood rush to my cheeks. I knew Manik couldn't afford to stay away from me for very long. Pandit frowned towards Manik before departing. Manik surely knows I'm staying now.

" Nandani!!" Navya's body collided with mines and she gave me a tight embrace.

" Navya be careful! You have a human inside you. Lets not forget that" Manik stood looking at us.

" Let's forget that for now. I heard you're staying in Space still. I'm so happy. We all knew Manik wouldn't let you go this easily" Navya whispered staring at Manik. Manik's face fumed with anger and was making his way towards us.

" Navya actually, Pandit bailed me out. He said this is a good chance for me to partake in the Fusion concert" I replied to Navya ,never leaving my eyes off of Manik. I never liked possesive Manik but if he reacted like this, it was the only way for me to speak with him calmly. Just the two of us.

" Okay Nandani. I have to go now." Navya vanished, and winked , indicating she wanted to leave us alone. I made my way towards Manik slowly.

" Manik can we talk? Please I have had enough. Can we take a break for two minutes.?" I asked him pleading in hopes of clearing things out.

" Nandani? Me? Why don't you ask that Pandit of yours to talk? You two seem to take a interest in shaking hands for a long time now?!" Manik yelled shouting through my ears. I love this, as weird as it seemed, him being jealous indicated only one thing, he will never stop loving me.

" Manik why?-" He stopped me from finishing, and grabbed my hand and cornered me to the Music room. Manik stopped my body against the wall and held my hands around his.

" I'm going to be saying this again Nandani Moorthy. Leave me alone! I don't care what you have to say?! I simply don't care ! I'll be sure to tell that Pandit of yours that he made the biggest mistake leaving you here in Space. I don't want to talk or have this break you speak of. Its nothing between us" Manik cried out of his lungs, and spitted anger towards my face. I could hear the rushing of his heartbeat. His hot minty breath fanned over my face. My eyes tightly shut and I winced in pain.

" Your're hurting me Manik!" I yelled, and Manik let go. Manik's anger was justified, but I'm not giving up, not on him, not on us, never.

" Manik you're hurting yourself. It pains me to see you like this, You do care about me, You do want me to say. Manik I'm not dumb, that announcement wasn't just for nothing. If it wasn't for the Pandit you would have stopped me. Manik I'm not giving up on you. I can't finish something so strong!" I blurted out loud and clear not giving a damn who's hearing. Manik's eyes softened and he stood barely uttering a word. I grabbed this chance in caressing his cheeks. My palms made its way to stroking his cheeks gently. Manik's eyes shifted towards me. He wasn't saying anything, no whisper nothing. " Manik say something!" I looked at him trying to find a clue. He forced my hands against my cheeks and started walking against the door.

" I simply don't care Nandani Moorthy!" Manik shouted before trying to walk out. He fiddled with the door knob and it refused to open. It dejected back and forth. We're locked! I didn't know whether to be happy or scared. This could be the only time I have to persuade Manik. Manik played vigorously with the door knob several times.

" Why this godamn doors always have to be locked?!!! " Manik shouted pacing back and forth. I took this time to check on the door. My phone buzzed with a text.

I chuckled barely containing my laughter. Oh god this Navya!.

" You think it's a godamnn joke Nandani. I can't handle staying locked in a room with you!" Manik shouted. I could see his eyes slowly dissolving back to bruised and hurt. My heart ached in pain watching him like this.

" Neither can I manik" I replied. This is my only chance. I can't screw this up again.
