I loved yr post...totally agree with you...manik has hesitancy to voice his emotions & feelings..somehow I think he chooses to ignore his feelings & runs away for them...his actions always contradict his words...I think he surprises himself with his actions...he acts as per situation what he want to do at that moment (impulsive) but never stops to think why he acted that way...its like he fears to examine his feelings so he makes conscious effort to ignore it even to himself...its like he has made some subconscious rules 4 himself to follow..his family &past experiences made him cynic & practical & to be afraid of expressing emotions & feelings.today's situation totally goes along with his characterization.. manik's character has maintained its consistency throughtout..I m pleasantly surprised& happy that cv's hasn't gone for cliche route.I loved today's episode n specifically manik's dialogues & character...

This was a very telling scene...the conflict within himself...he wants to relinquish control - by being vulnerable, and yet hold on to it, by telling her what to do.

i didn't like dis scene...it was not gud
it looked like he was trying very hard, but nothing was happening 4 d scene

Anu ...absolutly right..he was struggling a lot and jo bhi travk they r gonna bring up is to make him blurt out thos three difficult words to her...and even i loved his confusion of wat to do when nandu opened her yes..he want to hug her ,,kiss her ,,he itself donno wat he wanna do ,,,,his smile when he saw her smiling ,,,it was damn good,,,

Lovely post Anu. I hope this strong headedness of M is retained throughout the show because it showcases an alluring vulnerability even as he struggles to give words and life to his feelings.
I don't think its hard to uunderstand why Manik is unable to talk about love after watching his interaction with Noyonika.
It has been hammered into from childhood that any display of emotion is vulgar and common and I assume any overtures of affection from Manik to Noyonika has been rebuffed coldly.
Nandini is already helping Manik unlearn these harsh lessons of childhood and it's why she is Noyonika's threat.

But you explained it t well, it was vintage him worrying , helpless, yet the bone-crushing want of her waking up . He cutely tried dodging in the love word because he is so sacred of putting it out infront of her , the whole rules for relationship, scolding her, yet caring. Sigh, he is love. The boy who broke all rules now wants to set few of them so that his girl can be safe, infront of his eyes and because it's love.

He was so tender with her doll self, the desperation of just engulfing her within him. Sigh, his love.

LOL something must be wrong with me😛😆...or the show...soon we shall be back to normal disagreements, worry not!😆


@bold: Manik has always loved making rules for OTHERS😆...for himself toh rules are still meant to be broken only...bratty, rebellious Manik very much lives on.
