naa.. i dont think it was abrupt... when he came inside to meet cabir, the drug was taking its affect...he way he wanted to hug and his ab kyaaa... all indicated he was lightheaded... even cabir was little suspicious.. bad editing made us feel the disconnect

Yeah..he would!
But then again, when I introspect myself, I think I can be a different person for the same situation on different days...we all can be. So maybe it wasn't really that uncharacteristic of Manik. Maybe he was just feeling low that day...
