IF was being silly. so, I quit on it last night.
Manik is living his life now, though not consciously. When Cabir pointed out to him that Alya & Mukti think he is placing Nandini above Fab5, he was taken aback. As though he did not realise that he was doing that, that in fact, he put her before music too. To him, Fab5 is the most important thing in his life. everything else, just finds a place. He needs to realise what place Nandini occupies in his life. Why is it that he is always seeking her out, why is it that he just needs her to be there?
That is why I feel that this 3 day break is necessary for them. It would allow both Manik and Nandini to understand this all consuming need for each other. Perhaps understanding is too strong/deep a word. They are teenagers and it is overwhelming for them. But at least it will give them a bit of space to wrap their head around these feelings. Right now both are in a push/pull zone.
Finally, I also do not want Manik to confess his feelings in a fit of frustration/rage. I want him to realise it himself and then choose a moment to tell Nandini and Fab5, separately.
