yups! watched the episode. I really want Nandini to attend the workshop and not get worried sick about what trick Soha will pull now. She's a bit reluctant now and it seems fitting, she's really disjointed from music so her first reaction was to say no to the opportunity. But once she goes there and rediscovers the peace that her traditional music gives to her, that would reignite some passion in her and give her some direction.

What was more interesting in the episode was Manik's utter dependency on Nandini. His wish for her to just be there with him, phir bhale hi she doesn't do anything constructive cuz main hoon na. He just wants her there. Saying that he is bounding her with him is wrong because he isn't but it was just another example of Manik taking his sweet time to think her side of the things..

@CC - I know , it's like I am still invested in their story, they manage to keep it going and this whole dance around the hesitation seems so endearing. Bliss.

Manik doesn't think, he gives in to his impulses. All he knows is he needs her near him and he's used to getting his own way unfortunately. So this is a sort of relearning life process for him. Nandini is very strong mentally, probably on par with Noyonika . Their faceoff is going to be fun.

@Maisu - Soha track notwithstanding , Nandu's music journey will begin, she is representing the college for this thing for a week. One way or the other , her passion for music will start.

I don't think he was bounding her to him but he needs her around in that consuming manner , I think since they haven't actually discuss the L-word or the emotion , there is this sinking feeling in them still that this might be all over that he thinks she can still leave him or for her , he might go away , again. It's sub-consciously there because they haven't shared the inner turmoil, the overwhelming consuming love.

He is very insecure, even now that's what I got from today's episode, its like Manik cannot believe she is in his life and fears that any moment she is going to be taken from him. I think this again stems from his childhood insecurities probably of not seeing his father while growing up/

She fears to have him so close , she cannot fathom her own need to have her around. She cannot let him go too. Insecurity again, I don't believe this emotion ever goes away, it needs years, years of togetherness and for these two who are so consummate with each other , it's so darn hard.

Catty - I loved it how calmly Nandini dealt with him when he was being all hyper saying that Fab5 would've taken her side etc. She has learned that it takes patience when it comes to making Manik understand things. The last scene was sweet as well. Manik still a little bitter about their previous confrontation and Nandini trying to joke her way out of it but then confessing that she doesn't know how to deal with it. Because their dynamics have changed. They now know what their words and actions have an impact on the other so they can't be careless about them. There's this need to be careful regarding certain things, this care which all relationships have.

Genie - Nandini's music journey has taken an interesting time to start, with Fab5's album deal almost to its closure. I really do hope that her being attached to the workshop works out because it's high time Nandini finds something to call her own. I long for a fusion track between Fab5 and Nandini but that is just a dream..

@Maisu - You ask, they deliver - changes in fab5 dynamics too ? Cabir almost hinted it.

It's a bit interesting to see how Manik now needs Cabir to tell him what's going on with Fab5. Pehle Manik used to be all indulged in them, he more or less knew what was going on with them. And even if he didn't, he was the person they sought when things went out of hand. Now Manik is slipping away from them, he no longer wants to even keep up the image of "everything fine". the way he rushed out after Nandini, eyebrows were bound to be raised. And the way Alya said yesterday that she knew all of Manik's friends, man that detail was ahmazing! because here's this girl who has been in a relationship with a guy for 7 long years, who else can know his social life better? But then all of a sudden someone says that Manik the song from a 'friend', Alya's reaction was natural.

I am waiting for Fab5 to now seriously question Manik. Though I doubt they have the right to because everyone has their own share of secrets, Dhruv and Alya being the most guilty ones..

I personally believe that the special care should always be in a relationship otherwise the impression would come of taking the other for granted. I like the detail of them being careful with their words and proceeding with caution. Because they are firm in what they wish for, it's only the case of making the other comfortable with it..

He is slipping away or stepping back , because earlier he lived his life through them. Minding them, controlling them was pretty much his duty now he is trying to think of himself , just like they all are doing or were ding earlier. Cabir had Raghav, Mukti is dealing with Abhi, Dhruv did it with nandu and now with Alya . It's natural for them to raise eyebrows at him walking behind Nandu but thats the thing , it was the "wrong" of their group dynamics. Like Cabir said once, they will be happy if he lives for himself too. But for that they need communication. Something like post Musicana thing , to get their dynamics right.
