I too loved the last scene a lot...manik seemed to be different today..completely another person..mature,sensible,responsible and most importantly stayed calm and the way he handled the whole situation was shocking..I so loved him for this..he is learning a lot..!!

The way Manik tried explaining his views to Nandini about the cruelty and harshness of the world, yet he wishes for her to be right and prove him wrong shows the way he is getting better, day by day. He wants to be in a world, where things are hopeful, where there is light.

Today, he was protecting his star, so that she does not have to face the cruelties of the world, but even if she is not ready to listen to him, he would stand by her to support her, to live her hopes. May be, his hopes on Nandini's hopes talk about the constant push of dakrness away from his life.

That scene was pure love. It was so simple yet so deep. So much feeling. There was just so much love there. The guy who wanted always to be bad is protecting this girl he cares for, this girl who means everything to him. He is taming himself, calming himself so that he can be there for her. Even though he was right, he is putting his ego aside without a second thought, for her. He is hoping he is proved wrong, for her sake. I was actually at a loss for words for a while, just taking all that love in. Beautiful.

and that song they chose? OMG. I was telling my sister before the episode that Jeena Jeena is such a beautiful song for MaNan and that these guys should use it...and look at the coincidence!! Perfect scene, perfect song.

I finally watched the episode last night. And I have to say, I was hoping you write about that scene as well 😉
It was really nice to see him calm himself down for her. The way he went there for her. The sadness he felt at seeing her cry. Even the way he said he wishes he is wrong.
It was a brilliant scene!
Loved the post! Esp the connection you made with each of them having a different way to love. Finally there is balance. We see both of them are beginning to truly understand one another.
