@Serendae - Maybe she is just a hypocrite like a lot of people we see usually. She was not bothered about his friends, their bond but let them be because her son was normal, the friend circle made him popular , adored by society. Now because of his sexual orientation, in her head , he is not right according to the society norms ,so anything associated or anyone supporting him right now is a disgrace for her. She is smart, she knows respect is what she has taught him well , she is targeting his friendships because they be his support system...all the while ensuring that he returns back. Clearly underestimating her own son and his friends.

Yeah. She didn't care about the people Bira hung out with then cuz in her eyes her son was normal. Now, she's basically trying every which way to ger him back. Even if it means hitting him where it hurts most. His friends. Which is too cold, IMO. :/

I think Cabir's mom blames his friends somewhere for his not being 'normal'. She clearly knows they are all hellraisers in their own ways, but was okay with it because Cabir was happy and safe in her cocoon . Now that he's an 'aberration' in society as she sees it, she's projecting her own fears and insecurity on to his friends, maybe in a bid to get her son back?
